This is the BFFs. He's Frank Stample, Here's y Eric Young, and I am Greg Sauceman, all back together in studio today. Virginia Zakas of Inside Injuries will join us with the latest update on te Kwon Barkley, t Y Hilton, and
a couple of quarterbacks, including both in Buffalo and in Chicago. Frank, what's happening man? Happy Thursday to you? Excited four week five to start off tonight should be a really good game as well, Seattle Seahawks Los Angeles Rams will preview that later on in the show, or we could do it right now either way, whatever you want to do. But on a lot of Fantasy viable players in this matchup two. I mean, this is a big game tonight,
all right. I just we'll do it later on. I'm just saying in general, they're like, just it's just a general statement. There are a lot of Fantasy Vible players, a lot of Fantasy Vible players like last week with the Eagels and Packers, are a lot of Fantasy viable players. And hopefully we get a game as good as that one, because that was a phenomenal game last week. That was a fun one. That was a fun one. What's happening, man, it's another day, guys. Hockey is underway and you guys
don't care. But that means that my remote control will be getting a good bashing tonight. So it's gonna be. It's gonna be. It's gonna be a tough goal, but I'm gonna fight through it because I'm a champion. We also have MLB playoffs tonight as well, so we will also be pounding. I do not care, all right, is what it is? It look, best friends don't have to agree on everything, that's right. We don't gonna poor e wise remote? Man, how many remotes do you go through
a year? You are, I'm usually good at four or five funny to make him a lot better nowadays you've got a common your old day. I actually I believe you why when he says it too, I'm just saying, you know it's you know it's true. That's funny. I have an interesting conundrum about tonight. We'll get in the game later on, like I said, but so I have Jared Goff is my quarterback, and I was like, oh, man, do I play him tonight? And it's not a great matchup. It's on the road. He's much worse on the road
than he isn't home defense isn't what it once was. Though. I also have like Jimmy G and can go with Jimmy G Cleveland Monday night, nice Monday night at a quarterback I can wait on like this is great. And I did something that kind of angle would really I killed me for Frank, you looked at your opponent's team. I looked at my opponent's team and I saw that his top wide receiver it's Brandon Cooks. And I was like, you know what, I want to make sure whatever Brandon
Cooks gets points, I'm getting points now. I'm sorry Jared Goff tonight. Yeah, I mean personally, I have Jared Goff rank higre than Jimmy Garoppolo from the get go. So I wouldn't just start him based on my opponent having Brandon Cooks, but I will start him based on what the numbers are telling me. And um, I'm gonna go with your over Jimmy Garoppolo. Fantastic. So you made the right decision, but for the wrong reasons, Greig, it doesn't matter how I get there. Process doesn't matter. Is the
results over process? Guy? Absolute? Freaking are we? Probably more people should be all the results over process? We we we probably should be. Who cares how we get there? As long as we win? Hey, you know what last week I said, Miles Sanders was a great play. It wasn't. One of the Eagles running backs were a great play process results. Do you feel right about that? I do feel good that one of the Eagles running backs went off.
Obviously I wish that it was Miles Sanders. I don't own Sanders anywhere, but I think that the logic in you know, using the Eagles running backs against the Packers last Thursday night was good logic. Just so happens that, uh, Doug Peterson is the coach of the Philadelphia Eagles, So uh, it's kind of like a you know, half and half. You know you got it right technically, but you didn't. This is weird. Let me start off today's show with a non injury related news. But we are we talked
about yesterday. I think, e y, it's worth getting back into today. And that's the fun Diggs, right, because the fun Diggs. Someone's brewin in Minnesota. We saw a sweets couple of days ago, Frank we were shorts and him Feeling asking for a trade, just the fond Digs asking for a trade. Every answer that this guy gives this question like, hey, why do you miss practice yesterday? I had a cold. You're a professional athlete. I can't imagine a cold. It's not even going to work. No, no,
definitely not. Uh. I mean it's it's a it's a poor excuse. There's obviously where there's smoke, there's fire, and I mean a little bit. You gotta understand the frustration there. This isn't an all star wide receiver playing with Adam Feeling. Another All star wide receiver, and they're just not throwing the ball. And when they are, kirk Cousins has been rancid this year. He has not been good um with it.
Their ability to run the ball. You thought that it would just make throwing the ball easier, but that doesn't seem to be the thing. Minnesota is really struggling to throw the ball, getting their their wide receivers going at all, and and being stefon Diggs and and not being targeted, and on being thrown to a few times a game. It's got to be frustrating. This isn't the first time we'll see a Diva likewide receiver. It's not the last time we'll see this either in the NFL. But these
guys are super talented. Man. They want to get the ball, understand it. And look, you could say what you want about Adam Feeling. He probably shouldn't have made those comments publicly. Should have done it, you know, behind closed doors. Talked to uh kirk Cousins himself, talked to the offensive coordinator himself. But ultimately he's not wrong. Everything he said in that
postgame interview was right. You're not going to be able to run the ball against every team, and especially against the Chicago Bears, you have to be able to adapt. Even when you're league leading rusher Dalvin Cook is only rushing for thirty five yards, you have to do something differently and you have to be able to adjust. I mean, he was right and everything that he said, he just
shouldn't have said it publicly. So I understand these guys are frustrated, but you know, if they were winning while just running the football all the time, nobody would be saying a single thing. Greg It all comes down to winning. So they're losing and at the same time they're trying to run the football. But if they were winning, nobody would be saying anything no doubt and all is right
in the world when you win. But I don't know that this is Steven Diggs being like the diva wide receivers, ain't throwing me in the damn ball right like he didn't. Adam Feeling was the one that came out as it passed. We got passed the ball a little bit. Stefon Diggs finally scores a touchdown this past week and finally gets involved in the officers over a hundred yards silver hundred yards receiving me exactly, but he he can't excelt it. He's signed the contract, right, he's he's there, he got
his money. I get it, but he can't excel it. He's not even that. He's screaming and throw me the damn balls, Adam, and he was like, we need to open on the offense. In general, Minnesota, it's stuck in the fifties. Yere looks that's the way that they want to go down with the ship, right, Mike Zimmer. He wants to coach defense, he wants to run the football. They want to be a smash mouth football team, which is weird because they're paying Kirk Cousins all this money.
I still kind of think Diggs has like a deeva thing going on, but we'll save that for the other side. Greg. We'll take a break. We'll get more into this conversation and a lot more here on THEFS Daily Rhodo dot Com learned from the game's best DFS players. We don't just give you premier advice. We play every day, all
major sports, all year round. We never stopped industry leading DFS tools and custom projections, and now the Daily Rodo dot Com optimizer in minutes, building optimize line up for cash games and turneys learned from the game's best DFS players joined Daily Rodo dot Com Tap with you, dff no A little bit less hair, righty, Sam, Well, you're like Sospan year as well, one of the alienist divine Diggs a little bit and Adam Feeling and the vices they take all the New York Giants League story. You're
revolving around the Giants. Isn't the return of Golden Tape this week? Frank? But Barkley didn't officially practice Wednesday or Thursday. But he's running, he's cutting, he's jumping, not running at full speed, but he's coming back sooner rather than later. He spent on that money on Wayne Goldman that I apologize, But listen, Takoon Barkley. I don't think he plays Sunday. I've been I'm very honest with you. I don't think he pays next week either, because it's a Thursday night game.
You got a full ten days off after that, and they'll be back week seven. That's the four week timetable he was given initially. I think that's the most likely scenario. I think this comes down to how foolish the New York Giants organization really wants to be Do they really think that they can compete this year? Because they won the last two games and they're really that excited about
Daniel Jones. You have to be realistic with yourself because, ay, you'd be rushing back, your superstar running back to go up against the Vikings and Patriots, two games you're probably not going to win. I mean, maybe they have a chance against the Vikings, but against the Patriots on Thursday
night football, that's probably not going to happen. So you have to be realistic with yourself, and ultimately they should probably go down the route that you're saying, Greg and you know, give him until I guess that would be Week seven because he would have all that extra time after the Thursday night football game. But everyone has seen the video, or if you haven't, go on Twitter. I
mean it's it's circulating right now. Where he's he's running, he's you know, not at full speed, but he's he's cutting, he's jumping, he's doing things. I mean, there's a chance that this guy is just you know, the next this generation's version of Adrian Peterson, and he's just this crazy athlete that can recover from injuries at a reckless pace, but there's also a chance that he can re injure himself by coming back too quickly. So there are a
lot of things going on right now. But obviously, if you own Sae Kwon Barkley and he plays, you're gonna get him in your wine up. But you know, what do you do with Wayne Gelman right now? Try and trade him to the Sae Kwon Barkley owner. But outside of that, I mean, there's not really much else you're gonna do because you can't really train it for anything else right now, Greg, it's you know, your window to sell Wayne Goldman is pretty much gone. And I love
potentially Saguon Barkley also probably gone. Yeah, And and this is why those those questions are so hard to answer. Right people ask us questions about trying to trade for Sae Kwon Barkley when an injury first occurs, trying to trade for Tyreek Hill when an injury first occurs. I mean, we can really only go by the timetables that were given and the information that we're given by you know,
people who study the injury analysis. Right like, we're gonna have Virginia on the show today, we can really only go based on what we're told, Greg. So you know, for all the people that asked last week, oh, well, should I try and trade sake Kwon Barkley for a late season surge, we told you know, because at the time we thought that that was the right answer. I mean, you can't find me a person who didn't think that
that was the right answer. So there are a lot of moving parts when it comes to injury optimism, especially in a contact sports like fantasy football. Greg, absolutely, you have to um everything is not as easy as it appears for us to predict ultimately, and when it comes to Kuon Barkley, he's super human and get that for like two weeks kind of crazy when we thought he could be done for the entire season. We'll get more in Sable Martin when we talked to Virginia zakas in
a little bit. But Frank and anyway, it is our Thursday, which means not our leftover segment where we take a look at some of the leftovers. I just forgot I didn't tell them downstairs to play said, yeah, it's perfectly fine left over. Yeah, So some of the leftovers for today on the waiver wire. Include someone I picked up this morning, e Y in a fantasy league that we're all in together, the pit league, and that's Keyshaw Johnson for the Arizona Cardinals. Christian Kirk may not play here
this Sunday. I heard reports he's out, He's not out, whatever, We don't know. He's gonna play this week, which means Keishawn Johnson could see an increase in snaps. You know that Larry Fitzgerald isn't a good spot against Cincinnati's thinking can be said um for on the other side, for Tyler Boyd and Tyler Eifford, everyone's talking abou Aud and Tate. No one's really talking about Keshan Johnson. Should they be and should we pick him up? Y? Yeah? I feel like he's a good flex at the roady is is
that offense? I mean me included, it's it's been pretty disappointing so far. It hasn't been what I thought it was going to be what a lot of people thought it was going to be. Um And the the other thing he gains it fantasy wise is they spread the ball all over the place. There. I read a stat I think it was a couple of couple of weeks ago that they've lined up, I think thirty more in
four wide receivers set than the entire league combined. So think about that, more than thirty one other teams combined. So there's always four receivers plus on the field and David Johnson, so it's a it's a dart throw. Fitzgerald, I think, is the only guy you can really trust. But if Kurt doesn't play, Keejohn Johnson could see a bump. And they also said that any Isabella will play on the outside, and that's a guy that has all of the intangibles, but we haven't seen it yet out of
them this year. Yeah, I agree with what Uy saying. I mean, look, I want exposure to this offense because there's so much play volume and they throw the ball a lot. They have the third highest past percentage in the NFL right now. If Christian Kirk is out, I think Keyshawn Johnson sees an uptick in snaps. But the truth remains Gregg that last week, Trent Shirtfield, Yes you know that Trent Shutfield played eighty four percent of the
snaps while Keyshawn Johnson only played fifty seven percent. So has Trent Shurfield really leap frogs Keyshan Johnson at this point. It's something to pay attention to, you know, how they line up this week, their snap percentage as well. But if Christian Kirk is not there, Christian Kirk is currently leading this team with of the target share if he's not out there with a team that likes to passed the ball this much and going up against the Bengals defense,
which is a good matchup. Ke Shan Johnson is sneaky, uh And I like the name that you brought up to, Andy Isabella. I mean, this is someone that they were really excited about drafting him earlier. I believe it was either the second or the third round in the NFL draft. He's a smaller fellow, but he's extremely quick and he's got really good hands as well. So pay attention to Andy Isabella as well. In deeper leaves. Kind of feels like now I feels like the fantasy community is waiting
for Andy Isabella to to break out a bit. I don't know if we're just higher on him than the Arson Cardinals are. He's running what like fifth most out of the wide receiver at the moment. Yeah, he has not really seen much game action, if any so far this year. I think they've used them a little bit on special teams. So there's clearly something that he's not doing right, like either not picking up the playbook or
not running the right routes right away. But they pulled him off the draft board in the NFL draft, so there's something that they like about him. It just hasn't come to fruition yet. Greg, absolutely, So we will see. Um. We will see if any Zabella this Sunday I could get in the mix with the Arizona Cardinals. Uh. Speaking of Auto Tate, he is not part of our leftovers
because he got kind of in just before. Um. This is where the buzzer on Tuesday night before people put in their waivers, the news about John Ross being injured. How injured he was. I spent in my budget on Autumn Tate last night in an NFFC league that was twenty roster spots. Is that a mistake? Greg? Probably? The
backup bid was dollars. So I'm kind of kicking myself because originally I had a hundred and twenty two and I bumped it up to two hundred and twenty two because I really needed him I needed wide receivers in this league. The NFFC format is deeper Tony roster spots is not as many free agents, so I really needed him and I was aggressive on him. Give you another name that way we ought to picking up in gs t e Y. That was your guy, ke QT on
the waiver wire in a lot of places. We talked about him a bit in the Waiver Wire show on Tuesday. But he's out there in a lot of leaves. Can He still has not expected to play this week, And this is a spot and you guys can can jump in here as well. That I think that Texans get right, Like Atlanta has been really primed to allow big plays. DeAndre Hopkins, will Fuller and potentially k QT could really get right this week. If Qt is out there, Eric, are you picking them up? Look, if you need wide
receiver help that then that's a guy that could do it. That. The Texans haven't been what everyone thought they were going to be. I mean, I don't think there was many people that weren't. That wasn't taking DeShawn Watson in the top five quarterbacks. He has not uh delivered on that um. The running back situations confusing Duke Johnson goes there and you think it's gonna be a big deal. And Kiki
Qt was the training camp darling until he hurt his ankle. Uh. I was hoping once he came back he would be more figured in, But I mean he's basically done completely nothing. I think I've dropped him in almost every league I had him in, and listen, I had him in probably of my team's huge disappointment. But I'll be keeping an eye on him. If he's somebody that you need or if you have room, wouldn't be a bad stash. If Kenny still is gonna miss some weeks, he could resolidify
himself as the slot guy there. Yeah, I think it's a deeper ad right now if you're desperate for a wide receiver, especially in this spot going up against the Falcons, who have allowed five receiving touchdowns to wide receivers over the past two weeks, so their defense is completely getting shredded. I think it's a big get right spot for DeAndre Hopkins if you could still try and buy him right now. I've been trying to buy him in basically every league
that I'm in. You know, people are still holding onto his name value and that's the right way to approach it if you own DeAndre Hopkins. But on the other side, I'm trying to acquire him. I think it's a big week for Will Fuller as well. Those guys are just playing so many more snaps than Kiki QT. I'm also
holding out hope on Duke Johnson. You know, his snap percentage went up last week, played six of the snaps on a perk touch basis, severely outperforming Carlos Hido was tweeting tweeting about this earlier in the week, drink, I don't know what else Duke Johnson asked due to earn more touches, but I'm hoping that this is the week that that actually happens. So a lot to pay attention to Duke versus Kiki QT. But I think it's a big get, right spot. You're right, Greg, for both t
hop and Will Fuller. When we come back here on the VFS, were joining Virginia Zakis of Inside Injury. She helped us break down what we know about these quarterbacks on Markley and Morris the Ground Daily Rhodo dot Com learned from the game's best DFS players. We don't just give you premier advice. E y around, Franks around and now also around. It's our favorite doctor in charge Virginias. What's happen in Virginia? Guys has a gun? What's going on? It's going fantastically back, especially with the news that set Kwon Barkley already cutting,
already running. Things look good for se Kwon Barkley. Let's say you, No, he's looking a lot better than I expected him to right now. But I think we still need to slow down a little bit here. Um. He was officially listed as a d n P yesterday. I think that's what's gonna happen again today. Um, even though he was out there on the field running through some drills. Um, we're still showing that his ankle is going to take around six weeks to fully heal. Um. I think if
he returns this weekend. His injury risk is sitting above fifty percent right now, which is incredibly high. UM. He looked like he was still favoring that right ankle and some of the clips I watched from practice yesterday and today. So he really should not play this weekend, even though they're still leaving the door obin for him to be active. UM really needs a minimum of four weeks. He's going to be high risk until he hits that six week mark.
UM still pretty concerned about him, but it is looking like he's gonna very easily beat that. You know, six to eight week timeline wouldn't be the first time we've seen a running back just returned from an injury way too quickly. Adrian Peterson has done it in the past as well. But don't drop your Wayne Goldman shares, because as you heard from Virginia, he could be at a fifty percent chance of re injury if we if he does play as soon as he is trying to get
back on the field, So pay attention to that. Virginia. I want to ask you about Davantae Adams. I am heavily invested in Davante Adams this season had him as my wide receiver one coming into the season. Fun fact, greg I heard the fantasy tash Jim Day talking about Davante Adams throughout the Fantasy Football frenzy and he described the injury as quote, it's turf it's a toe, so it's gotta be turf toe. So what can you tell me about turf toe here, Virginia. Do we expect Ivanta
Adams to play this week? And if he does manage to suit up, you know what, you know, how healthy is he actually going to be? Yeah, so we do think Adam's injury is turf toe. UM. All turf toe, as though, is a sprain to the main joint in the big toe. Very important for a wide receiver because pushing off to start a route, getting off the line, quickly changing direction, all of those movements start with the big toe. So it can be very painful to play
through and it's very easy to aggravate. Um. The best comparison we have is A J. Green last year. Now, his seems like a much more serious case of turf toe, and it's something he battled in the past. So I'm not trying to scare you quite like you know, Green last year. But it is still something to watch. I don't think he's going to play this week. Um. He
didn't practice yesterday and he's not practicing again today. UM. It sounds like the m r I was relatively clean, but did still show a little bit of damage to the toe. UM. Based on all of that, we are
giving him a five week optimal recovery time. I don't think he's actually gonna miss that much time, but it's gonna take him around five weeks for that toe to fully heal, and if he returns in the next week or two, he's going to continue to push back that healthy to return date because it's not going to fully heal within the five weeks because he's not going to have enough rest. So if he does suit up this week or next, he's at a very very high risk
of re injury. UM. And that includes either aggravating his turf toe or suffering a compensatory injury. Greggy, this is a tough situation too, because from my perspective right as a Davante Adams owner, like I don't want him to rush back, but you need him, and you know there are players that have been able to play through injury not and still put up fantasy numbers. But at the same time, Virginia mentions that risk for re injury when it comes to Davante Adams. So this is a really,
really tough situation right now. Adams those play e y. Who's the biggest benefactor in this packer's office is that Jimmy Graham is MVS? Is Jono Allison who I saw I was picked up in a lot of places this week. Who is the biggest beneficiary here? For me? I put my money on MVS. Uh, he's going to play on the outside. He'll be in on on probably every single down. Um, Allison could play, but uh on more downs. But he is the slot guy and they don't. Uh. They haven't
been using the slot as much. Alison hasn't had that many targets this year. He has had some touchdowns. Um, but if I was the place of bed, I would go with MBS. This hurts my heart, Greg, You know this hurts my heart because I have a lot of shares of Davantae Adams, a lot of money rotting on him as well. So this is a bad situation. You can't even really trade him either because you'd be getting suppressed value. Absolutely totally a Virginia. Zak is from Inside
Injuries Virginia. Couple of quarterbacks got hurt last week and that included Josh Allen, who took a brutal hit, uh, really brutal hit from um from a Patriots there, and we thought he might have been significantly hurt. He got up, he actually ran off the locker room by himself. You're like, all right, he's a right, never came back. He was throwing yesterday practicing, but he hasn't obviously clear concussion protocol
quite yet. What's the deal with Josh Allen? Yeah, so he participated in individual drills at practice yesterday, UM, only non contact drills. That tells me that he's in the next to last step of concussion protocol. UM. I'd give him slightly better than a fifty fifty shot at suiting up this weekend. UM. I don't think it's a given just because he was out there, but I don't need to get in another solid practice today and then hopefully cleared for a full practice tomorrow. UM. As long as
his concussion symptoms don't come back, UM, he should be cleared. UM. But we'll have to keep keep a close eye on him over the next few days. He also does not have a history of concussions, which is good, but he does have some other injuries to his name, um, including a UCL sprain last year and multiple clavical fractures, so those shouldn't come into play here. Good thing that there's no pass concussions, but um, we still needn't need to
watch him closely over the next few days. That's Josh Allen. We gotta just wait, wait this out a little bit. We have to figure out will he cleared a protocol. It doesn't seem overly significant, thankfully, the Bills do have a bye coming out after this week. Maybe a little bit more cautious, Frankie, Yeah, and it's it's not the same type of injury, but it's a similar situation to Mitchell Robinsky who's dealing with this left shoulder injury, not
to his throwing shoulder. Actually saw a funny tweet where someone said, well, he doesn't have any throwing shoulders when it comes to Mitchell Robinsky. But ultimately, they have a bye in week six, so they can hold Trabisky out this week they're playing in London against the Oakland Raiders, and then he can return in week seven, so Virginia. What do you guys have on Mitchell Robinsky. I seen him, probably more so on the doubtful side of things. Is
that what the algorithm is saying as well? Yep, I don't see any way he plays this weekend, but our algorithm is actually showing that he can fairly safely return to the field in around three weeks. I'm gonna take closer to or to five weeks for that slight labor and tear to heal. But you know, the good news is the m r I showed that it wasn't anything too severe, so therefore it should be able to heal
on its own without surgery. Um. It's always possible in the off season he'll have a little clean up procedure on his shoulder, But for right now, I don't think we need to be concerned about surgery. UM. And the bye week is actually coming in a good time, so I would not be surprised if we see him UM
right after that. His injury risk is high right now if he plays this weekend, UM, not only because he could cause more damage to his left shoulder, but it could affect his play a little bit because he could try to avoid hits to that left side or falling on his left side, which puts the rest of his body at risk. But I think if he waits it out three weeks, he should be good to go. Well, your super Flex owners out there, make sure you pick
up Chase Daniel if you were depending on Trabisky. I know it's been a really rough star for Trabisky, but pretty good matchup for Chase Daniel going up against this Oakland Raiders defense as well, So just keep that in mind. I wouldn't expect your Bisky this week, Greig. I also wouldn't. So that brings me once again over to you, e y, who would you rather start super Flex League? If Josh Allen doesn't play and Drew Whisky doesn't play, would you
rather start Matt Barkley? Would you rather start Chase Daniel? I'm gonna probably go Daniel here. Um, the Titans defense has been pretty decent. Uh, And that's like I'm flying the colors. Everyone knows, But I mean the truth is, the defense has been pretty good. Uh. Daniel looked decent, you know, I mean, he looked he looked pretty decent
and it'll be interesting to see. Um. The Chicago Bears offense with I feel like Daniel is probably a better thrower than Drue Whisky, which isn't is just absolutely insane to say out loud, being high they took him in the draft, But yeah, Daniel would be my bet there. I also agree with Chase Daniel. I just I think they can just utilize three coen much like they did last week and dump it and dump it and dump it all game long. We continue on here with viginiaza
Is from Inside Injuries in Virginia. Let me move on and let me get to Pittsburgh where James Connor hurt his ankle in this game on Sunday night or Monday night rather and says he's fine, I'm good, but you know it's now two four weeks he's hurt. There's ankle. There's a lot of Jalen Samuel on Monday night. How's James Connor's ankle looking? Um? So we missed practice yesterday and never good to see a guy start off the
week with a miss practice. Um, we don't know his participation yet today, but if he misses another practice today, I will definitely be very concerned about him. Um, he's a high injury risk right now. He was actually already an elevated injury risk because he previously injured his knee this year. Um, and he has a history of an m c L tear and suffered a high ankle sprain last season. UM. I'm not sure if it's the same
ankle as the one that's currently injured or not. But that's a lot of injuries over the last two seasons, so definitely concerned about him, especially these lower body injuries. They're now piling up, So if he does play, he's going to be a high injury risk. Those ligaments and his ankles are stretched out, which means he's much more susceptible to rolling that ankle again. Um. You know, it could be like a Lashawn McCoy situation where he plays but he isn't able to finish the game. So I
think it's gonna be pretty risky to play him this weekend. UM, best us knowing as history as that he tries to play through it, but he's not going to be And that is all part of the reason why I wanted to spend a decent amount of fab on Jalen Samuel was this week if he was available in your league, Virginia, I want to ask you about another running back dealing with an ankle injury. That's Marlon Mack and I just saw the practice report is that he did not practice
again today on Thursday dealing with this ankle injury. Expected to play against the Kansas City Chiefs, which is a good matchup for running backs on the ground. But if he's not good to go, uh and the Colts, you know, getting as many points as they are, we could be looking at Niheim Hines is a pretty good flex option. So you know, what, what do you guys have on Marlon Mack? Do you expect him to play this week?
I know he's been dealing with a ton of injuries so far this year, and he does have an extensive injury history as well. Yep, this situation is pretty similar to James Conner Um last season he had multiple hamstring injuries that forced him to miss time and then also foot and ankle injuries that he tried to play through UM and wasn't always that successful. So definitely concerned that
he's starting off the week with two miss practices. UM. I think there's actually a decent shot that he suits up because again that's what he tried to do last year. A lot of the time he played through injuries when he really shouldn't have. UM caused his injuries to linger and lead to other injuries. Those foot and ankle ones last season were definitely related, So I'm very concerned about him. He was already a high injury risk even before picking
up this injury last week. UM, now it's even higher. Hovering around his health performance factor is also poor, so I don't think he's going to play very well if he is active. Um It's just hard for a running back to cut and run full speed if they're dealing with an ankle injury. So I'm definitely concerned about him. Penning into this weekend, Zack Is. We appreciate the time, as we do each and every week, follow him at Inside Injuries Virginia. Have a great weekend. We'll talk to
you next week, so good luck. All right when we come back Thursday night football, we'll get into that. Seattle and Los Angeles would be a good game tonight. Uh from the link, Yes, that's also the lord able to link from the link in Seattle. Stick around. Who are we playing who evening and who are we predicting to win? Tell you next daily Rhodo Dot com learned from the game's best DFS players. We don't just give you premier advice. We play every day, all major sports, all year round.
We never stopped industry leading DFS tools and custom projections and now the Daily Rodo dot Com Optimizer in minutes building optimized line up for cash games and turneys learned from the game's best DFS players joined Daily rodo dot com. All right, we're back here on the b f S Frank Stanville, Eric Young and I and you're ready for
Thursday Night Football tonight Seahawks and Rams. Not that any leftovers to get into from this week on the waiver wire, we said it all along my great waiver wire, reaching much what the one of the one of the players nobody I mentioned that you were during the bring navn Jimmy Graham. He could be out there and given what we heard about Davante Adams is injury, e y, Jimmy
Graham maybe somebody worth picking up. Yeah, for sure. I mean we saw at the end of the game when when Adams went out that that would look like the number one target for Aaron Rodgers. Uh, Jimmy Graham is still a huge red zone target. He's not definitely not
a fleet of foot anymore. It was never super fast, but I mean he it looks like he's running in molasses, but I mean he's still a massive human being that can box people out and go up and get the ball, so that that he's definitely in tight end, He's definitely a guy to play. HEAVN ranks does a top twelve tight end as of now. It's a pretty good matchup going up against the Cowboys. They've allowed the tenth most fantasy points to opposing tight end so far this year.
They allowed a monster game to Evan and Graham in Week one as well. I heard Jim Day talking about this during the Fantasy Football Frenzy that so far it's been a small sample size, but whenever Davantae Adams has been off the field so far this season, Jimmy Graham's target share goes up. His target share and had the red zone goes up massively as well. So uh, Aaron Rodgers said he wants to get Jimmy Graham more involved. That's exactly what he tried to do last week on
Thursday Night. Craig absolutely now speaking on Thursday Night Thursday Tonight, Rams and Seahawks kick off a lot of sports on tonight with the NHL and MLB, and of course NFL ready to go Rams. Frankie started this game as a small favorite since that opened on Sunday night. There now a few points underdog. Why is that? I don't know, man, You know, I was asking you about this and it's
a tough call right now. I think you know people are looking at you know, Jared Goffe's career numbers on the road, and the fact that this Rams team hasn't played as well away from Los Angeles, and the fact that Seattle does have a legitimate home field advantage. When I saw that this line has moved three and a half points, I asked you, is there an injury that
I miss? Is there's something going on because normally you don't see a line move that much unless you know there was like an injury to a quarterback or something. But for whatever reason, Jared Goff has not played as well this year. I've read a few things about him that teams are starting to do more of what the Pats did in the Super Bowl, where they kind of show one defense up until when Sean McVeigh is out of Jared Goff's ear and then they kind of change
everything else up. Uh, And we know that Jared Goff basically leans a lot on Sean McVeigh in order to um, you know, get the offense going and get the right play and get everything lined up. And you know, when he doesn't have Sean mcveih and is here, Greg, he's basically a deer in the headlights. And we saw that last week where you turn the ball over four times.
So I think it's it's really that home field advantage and the fact that Jared Goff has not played as well away from Los Angeles so far in his career. That's That's the only thing that I could think of. Speaking of Jared Goff, we mentioned him earlier. Where do you have him ranked, Maggy? I know you have him ahead Jimmy Garoppolo. Where do you have him ranked in general? I have him ranked at QB fourteen as of now, one spot behind Jacoby Brucette, one spot ahead of Andy Dalton,
Kirk Cousins and Jimmy Garoppolo. Yeah, so he's not not a QB one for He's not a lot to start this week now, No, he's not a lot to start or and he saying Jacoby Brisette is ahead of who else has right at him? I have Dak Prescott just ahead of him, Aaron Rodgers, Philip Riverters, Kyler Murray, Tom Brady, Jameis Winston. So not really any names that you would
expect to be on the waiver wire. The only one really that I would pick up and stream over him is Jacoby Brissette going up against the Kansas City Chiefs. They're huge underdogs, the liven Point underdogs as of now. And see why Hilton actually practiced today, So that would be a huge booths for Jacoby Brissette as well, because they well, go see if Jcoby percent go check it out. Greg, you see what you can find? E Why what can
we expect tonight? When it comes to Todd Gurley And there's when fantasy owners have been frustrated and you're trying to understand the usage. Malcolm Brown's user has gone down, but girly doesn't look the same. I was talking to game Moorenci earlier today and gave was like, hey, the over under for a rushing yards were talked early to Night's fifty eight, Like this is what it's come to you?
What do you expect that Gurly tonight against Seattle. From me, this has got feel, but my gut has been pretty good to me. I think that Todd Gurley shows up here and people being frustrated, like, I mean, you didn't take him in the first round, you took him in the second or third round. I mean, he's been pretty serviceable. And I don't think it has anything to do with him. And I've been saying that all year. The interior of
this offensive line is not the same. They're getting pushed around if you watch football or at all or know anything about it, which I'm not claiming to do, but I do watch a lot of it. But if you watch, they're just being pushed around. Um, they ran a lot of zone runs and Bill Belichick wrote the game plan, said put five linemen on the ice and on the on the field and put him in zone. So there are no outside zone runs for Todd Gurley right now.
But you saw last week they started throwing him the ball. This guy is a freak athlete, arthritic knee athlete, arthritic knee or not. Tonight will be a coming out party for Todd Gurley, and uh, we'll be talking about him a lot next week. That's what I believe, and actually with you on this one. I wasn't in on Todd Gurley coming into the year, but I think that he actually could have some success tonight. Basically for the way
that he's been used recently. He's played at least seventy of the snaps each of the past two weeks and since Week two on Greg. I know, the Week one we all saw Malcolm Brown scored the two touchdowns inside the red zone and we all freaked out. Since Week two, Todd Gurley has eleven red zone opportunities while Malcolm Brown only has three, so they really have gone back to Todd Gurley. It's not the greatest matchup in terms of yards per carry alloud Seattle allowing just three point nine
five yards per carry. They've limited players like David Johnson, James Conner, and Alvin Kamara on the ground, but they have allowed a ton of receptions. They've allowed at least eight receptions to each of David Johnson and Camara each of the past two weeks. So I think Gurley could get involved in the past game again this week, coming off a game where he had eleven targets last week. We'll see if Gurley can get involved you. As you mentioned, Jarry God not the same at home as he is away.
He's gonna need all the help he can get, especially o those near and intermediate passage, which where a guy like Cooper Cup comes in righte the Rams wide receivers this week. Frankie, Yeah, I would still rank Cooper Cup. I think I have him inside my top six or seven. He's just been money this year, you know, and it's crazy because he's only eight or nine months removed from that a c L surgery, but has such a rapport with Jared Goff that you have to continue to trust
Cooper Cup. Actually like Brandon Cooks a little bit more over Robert Woods tonight starting Jared Goff, just because just because of the matchup the corners that they're going to see, it's a better matchup for Brandon Cooks tonight overall Um and then going up against Trey Flowers that is the secondary of the Seattle Seahawks. I still like Robert Woods to have all three of these guys ranked inside of my top twenty. But that's how I would rank it.
It would be Coop Cup, then it would be Cooks, and then it would be Woods for me um and you know, looking at the Seattle defense, they only allowed fifty five passing yards and like middle of the pack and fantasy points allowed to two quarterbacks so far this year, Greg, but they haven't really faced the toughest composition. It's been Mason Rudolph, It's been Teddy Bridgewater. Uh. You know, it was the game that Drew Brees left and Kyler Murray
last week, and that often is struggling as well. So I don't think that the Seahawks defense is very good. I think that their numbers look better than they are because they haven't really faced tough competition. Al Right, fair, fair enough, and let me go to the other side. Let me go to Seattle and ey, even though we will dizzy guy all year long. You this touchdown street going right now. I know a lot of people are
talking to touchdown regression. J J Zacharyastan mean one of them earlier on on the Vandel hurry up this week? Will dis Lee's run continue tonight? I believe there's a good possibility. Like look at tight End is a waste land. It's been a waste land for three years. And if you're the kind of person that can sit Will Disley, then then more power to you. But I wouldn't be sitting him. Um. He's obviously a big part of this offense. He's obviously it looks like he's the number one red
zone guy um and and Russell Wilson trusts him. At the start of last year, he came out gangbusters when nobody including me, had any idea who he was. Uh, and showed up with then got that injury and disappeared and was you know, probably undrafted most leagues this year unless you played with me. I took him everywhere. Yeah, I like Will dis Lee as well. Just look at his usage the past couple of weeks without Nick Vannette. This past week, snapp percentage went up to seventy nine percent.
You've seen at least seven targets in each of the past two games. I mean you could probably count on three fingers how many tight ends you can expect to get seven plus targets on a given week, and Will Displee has got exactly that each of the past two weeks. He is third on the team with six red zone targets as well. Uh. And it also helps when Russell Wilson is talking you up. I don't know if you saw the lode from Russell Wilson earlier in the week, but he said you Will Dislee is gonna be really,
really good for a long time. So he has the respect the trust of Russell Wilson and that's half the battle. So where is he ranked this week for you? Frank? I would have to pull up the tight end rankings, which I can do for you right now. I have him ranked as my tight end seven on the week. Beautiful, take that top ten tight end. Let's go. Yeah, so good news coming around for you here, Greggy. I do like will dis Lee, the Rams have been good against
tight ends. I mean the thing is, ben see points against for tight ends is really based on who you go up against, right, Like, if you go up against teams that use the tight end, like, of course your numbers are gonna be skewed. If you face the Arizona Cardinals, let's say, I mean they don't use the tight ends. So using fantasy points against for tight ends, uh is
is tough. It's really tough to use that data. So honestly, when I'm ranking tight ends, I just want to look at guys who are being used the most in their offenses being used in the red zone and Will dis Lee is one of those tight ends right now, Well, just Lee one of those tight ends you're interview, be the one, the one guy that's on there at that position. It's will digitally makes your life a lot easier at the wide receiver position. Tonight for Seattle, you have Tyler
Locke in his familiar role. Are you using Dktcalf? I have them outside of my top thirty six tonight. I think that there is a there's a range of outcomes where tonight turns into a shootout and we just get a lot of points back and forth here. But ultimately I think that I think the Rams, coming off that tough loss against Tampa Bay, that they kind of want to slow this game down. They want to use a lot of girly and we know on the other side that that's what the Seattle Seahawks want to do with
their core as well. I still do like Tyler Lockett in this matchup. We just saw Chris god went into slot score three touchdowns last week against the Ram, so I like lock It, But personally playing on the outside for Metcalf, you know he's probably gonna see either keep to leave or Marcus Peters. I probably get away from
him this week. EWE, let me go over to you when it goes to Chris Carson, where Chris Carson had those fumbling issues and he Carrol said, hey, we're not gonna let it to find him, and they played him unbelievable. Amount had a good game this past Sunday with shot. Penny is expected to be active tonight. I don't even believe he's on the injury report. What kind of split do you expect between these two if at all? I think this is Carson spot. I mean, he's going to
run the ball. They're going to trust him. Penny will spell him when he's tired and and change the pace things like that. But Carson is definitely the guy there. Carol loves him. Uh, the players love him. I mean, if you watch this guy run like he is just not afraid, he's not afraid of contact. He invites it. And I can tell you, like if I was a football player standing on the sidelines and I'm seeing this guy smash into everything that moves and and fight for
every yard. That's that's Uh, that's a good teammate to have on your team. So look, at all. All running backs have the ability to fumble. Um, they've all fumbled before. He had a couple of bad ones and they were all in a row, so it was very glaring. But he didn't fumble last week. Uh, and he looked great. So um, yeah, Carson Carson's the man there and uh, to me, he's probably a top ten running back this week. Yeah, I have him as my RB seven on the week.
So I'm right there in lockstep with E. Why you look at Chris Carson's usage. He's had at least fifteen carries in every game He's He's averaging almost four targets per game as well. And its Los Angeles Rams defense just allowed two rushing touchdowns last week to both Ronald Jones and Peyton Barber. They have allowed five rushing touchdowns to running backs in four games so far this season, allowing the eighth most fantasy points to opposing running backs.
So I think Chris Carson is in a really, really good spot tonight, Greig, all right, you were for tonight, Frank, between the Rams and the Seahawks. I am going to say that the Rams winness game. I will also take the Rams. I don't think you're far off. I'll go with seventeen the Rams over the Seahawks. Eric, Yeah, I'm gonna go Rams over the Seahawks in this one. I don't. I just feel like the Rams are gonna show up. That that's what I believe. I think Jared Goff is
going to get right. I think the They're gonna spread the ball around and make it hard to know where it's going. Cooper Cup has another good game, and Todd Gurley uh is the m v P of of the game tonight. Right, Todd Gurley, he break out game for Eric. He says, uh that you believe also that the Rams is gonna rely on Gurley really try to play ball control to night in Seattle. I saw his player prop is only fifty eight rushing yards too. It seems really low for me when it comes to Todd Gurley. I
like some of his receiving props as well. I haven't seen the number on Chris Carson, but I do you know if I like Chris Carson as a top ten running back tonight you can place wagers on either his over on his rushing yardage prop or for him it's or a touchdown. And I think either one of those will come to fruition. All right, So there you have it. The predictions for Sarson minus one tend to score touchdown tonight, Todd Gurley plus one oh five. All right, there you go.
All right, we are done for tonight. It's gonna be a fun night as e Y watches NHL. Frank and I watched baseball. Hopefully we watch the NFL as well. It's a fun day of sports this evening. Tomorrow we do all of our best best for the Weekendi we'll go around the league and all the fantasy goodness that you need to know. He's Erk Young, He's Frank Stanfell, I'm Greg Sosman. We'll do it all again tomorrow. We hope Daily Rhodo dot com learned from the game's best

Industry leading DBS tools and custom projections, and now the Daily Roado dot Com optimize that in minutes building, optimize line up for cash games, and turn me from the game's best df best players joined Daily Roado dot com. So what did I happen? What did Here's what you
missed on the BFPS and interesting conundrum about tonight. We'll get into the game later on, like I said, but so have Jared Goff is my quarterback, and I was like, oh man, do I play him tonight? And it's not a great matchup. It's on the road. He's much worse on the road than he isn't home defense isn't what it once was. Though I also have like Jimmy g Agle with Jimmy g Cleveland Monday Night, nice Monday night at a quarterback I can wait on like this is great.
And I did something that kind of angle would really I killed me for Frank, you looked at your opponent's team. I looked at my opponent's team and I saw that his top wide receiver it's Brandon Cooks. And I was like, you know what, I want to make sure whatever Brandon Cooks cans points, I'm getting points. Now. I'm starring Jared Goff to night. Personally, I have Jared Goff ranked higher than Jimmy Garoppolo from the get go, so I wouldn't just start him based on my opponent having Brandon Cooks.
But I will start hitting based on what the numbers are telling me. And um, I'm gonna go with jerikof over Jimmy Garoppolo. Fantastic. So you made the right decision, but for the wrong reasons. Greig, it doesn't matter how I get there, process doesn't matter. There is a results over process, guy, Absolutely freaking are we probably more people should be all the results over process? We we We probably should be. Who cares how we get there? As long as we win? Hey, you know what, last week
I said, Miles Sanders was a great play. It wasn't. One of the Eagles running backs were a great play. Process over results. Do you feel right about that? I do feel good that one of the Eagles running backs went off. Obviously I wish that it was Miles Sanders. I don't own Sanders anywhere, but I think that the logic in you know, using the Eagles running backs against the Packers last Thursday night was good logic. Just so happens that, uh, Doug Peterson is the coach of the
Philadelphia Eagles. So uh, it's kind of like a you know, half and half. You know you got it right technically, but you didn't just weird. Let me start off today show with a not injury related news, but we saw we talked about yesterday. I think, e y, it's we're getting back into today. And that's the fun Diggs, right, because the fun Diggs. Someone's bruin in Minnesota. We saw a sweets cool of days ago. Frank we were shorts. That 'm feeling asking for a trade, just the fond
Diggs asking for a trade. Every answer that this guy gives this question, like, hey, why do you miss practice yesterday? I had a cold. You're a professional athlete. I can't imagine a cold. It's not even going to work. No, No, definitely not. Uh. I mean it's it's a it's a poor excuse. There's obviously where there's smoke, there's fire, and I mean a little bit. You gotta understand the frustration there.
This isn't an All Star wide receiver playing with Adam Feeling another all Star wide receiver, and they're just not throwing the ball. And when they are, Kirk Cousins has been rancid this year. He has not been good um with it. Their ability to run the ball. You thought that it would just make throwing the ball easier, but that doesn't seem to be the thing. Minnesota is really
struggling to throw the ball. Getting their wide receivers going at all, and and being Steffion Diggs, and and not being targeted, and only being thrown to a few times a game has got to be frustrating.
