of every hour listen Matter ten. Yeah, now Love's welcome your baby your host by date from mine. That's fun. Your co host by died from St. Francis Frank Stand ball, ladies and tell me your PEP S Action Hour is live here from New York City. Any Stampleed gregg susman Eric Young. I'm starting to sound like you there, man, it was diet. It is like I heard my voice kind of sound gravity like yours. Like this is how
he feels all the time. It's not good. Best thing is when when people meet me and they're like, oh, you really sound like that somehow magically putting on this voice for fifteen years. Yeah. Not. This is not a gimmick, folks. This is how he speaks in real life. This is real life, absolute real life for for Greg too. Evidently this guy coughed up a lung as soon as we threw the brain. I don't I don't think we made it to break now. Oh my god, it's so embarrassing.
I apologized. I about to hear that my mike was off for that reason, and for some reason I had to still talk. It was bad. But anyway, before we hit the break. We were talking. I was trying to we're talking about David Joko um Frank of his thoughts these adp ultimately is fine, he wants one of the top five guys. But where he's going whatever? Uh, Eric,
what do you think here about Joko? It? I mean he's a dart throw like you know, every tight end from six to thirty, Like, yes, you're going to be frustrated, but there's not another guy that you can own that you're not going to be frustrated frustrated with some weeks like last year I think was the hardest year I can remember ever playing fantasy football, where like at least they would get you some yards, you mean, like they were good for a touchdown, you know, every other week
or something like that. Last year, if you didn't have one of the top four or five guys, you were pulling your hair out and it was insane. And na Joko is he's in the top part of that thirty or forty other tight ends, you know, like the you know guys that that could do it or could be something. He's got every tool. He's in a in a good offense with a good quarterback, He's going to you know, he he showed last year that his hands improved. Um Man really came on at the end of the year
last year. But now, uh you know, O b J being there, um Freddy Kitchens calling the place full time. Another year in the system with Baker Mayfield. These are all positives for him. But I believe it's just going to be like the other you know, starting tight ends where it's just you know, weekend and week out. You know, you just put him in and hope. So it's you could do worse than David and Joker, That's for sure.
That's true. The ball, the man throwing the ball to Tam to Joker and the rest of these wide receivers is Baker Mayfield. And Mayfield the four Hisman winner and number one overall pick in the NFL Draft currently is going in the top five at the quarterback spot, right behind Patrick Mahomes, Andy Luck, DeShawn Watson, and Aaron Rodgers. He's going in front of Matt Ryan, Jerry Golf, Carson
Wentz and a host of other guys. It's really interesting because they finally feels like the quarterback Landskip was really changed, frank like after the top four really really from the number one on Mahomes, Watson beings at the top three. It's a totally different quarterback crew than we are used to see. And initially I look at Baker Mayfield like man, top five seems mighty mighty high for him. But then I looked down whence case probably Ryan, You definitely make
a case from Matt Ryan Jerry Goff on the Rams. Okay, what this range is probably makes sense, right I think right now, if you're drafting Baker Mayfield, you're drafting him at his ceiling because I don't know how he's going to finish much higher than QB five, So I'll just throw that out there. Last year, he was QB ten in fantasy points per game from weeks nine through seventeen.
Again when Freddy Cook Kitchens took over the play calling duties, the average one point eight yards per game, nineteen touchdowns, eight interceptions. Baker Mayfield reminds me a lot of Ben Roethlisberger in that he can make all the throws, but he's also going to turn the ball over a decent amount, Like it wouldn't surprise me one bit if Baker throws for you know, thirty plus touchdowns. Let's say, anywhere from like thirty to thirty three touchdowns, but he's also gonna
throw for fifteen plus interceptions. We saw it that game against the Houston Texans last year. They completely faked him out into throwing throws that like a rookie quarterback throws, not that the normal Baker Mayfield with throw, and that was you know, maybe that was just him as a rookie, and hopefully he got better in the off season, but I still think that he's going to be turnover prone at times. Greg. Right now, it just feels like, even
with all the weapons that he has. He has Odell Beckham, Jarvis Andry David and Joeku great running backs behind him as well, offensive line got a little bit worse. It feels like at QB five, you're drafting him at his ceiling. And it sucks because I want to have as much exposure to this Brown's offense as I possibly can, and I would love to have the guy throwing the ball to all these weapons, But I just don't know that I'm going to have many shares of Baker Mayfield at
the current ADP that he's going in. Yeah, it's like I said, the people are probably right like the players rather are probably right, But as I look at their their ADP number, Bicker may Fields going about seventy eight, it's seven picks later from Matt Ryan. I'd rather have those seven picks back r Roethlisberger going because I don't I don't think that their numbers one far off team and Baker Mayfields at what se You're getting him that much later picks later? And it is is Baker Mayfield
going to be that much better than Ben Roethlisberger. The Steelers were the most past happy offense in the NFL last season, and I still think that they're going to throw the ball at toun like they don't have Levian Bell. I think they drafted Benny Snell. We'll get more into the Steelers tomorrow. I'm sure that they're gonna try try to be more balance this year, but they're still going
to throw the ball a lot. I don't know that Baker Mayfield and Ben Roethlisberger's umbers are going to be that far off that he should be going forty spots ahead of Ben Robins. I think it's really interesting is that when he had Jerry Goff, Goff, Winston, Murray Breeze and Wilson, this crew of well five guys, I'll go into two picks of each other. Like, that's a range of quarterbacks right there, and then you have Newton Roethlisberger
or within the next ten picks or so. So I think like that's a range I can see myself diving into all super bunched up right now, the quarterbacks, and it's just super deep. Yeah, you know, we keep we keep telling everyone to play in in super flex leagues, and a lot of people aren't used to having an extra quarterback in their lineup, and they're they're hesitant to change things. Were all creatures of habit, right, But the fantasy landscape is changing, and with that, you should change
the way that you play the game. Quarterbacks is super deep. That's why I would recommend most people play the super flex format running back. It's also super deep. What are we thinking, Nick Chubb? We'll let you know where we return. A lot going on, not just of course, from my fansy perspective, the Browns are eight favorite of those in videos people are want to bet on the Browns to win the NFC North. There the favorite at the moment to win the NFC North over the Steelers. No, Frank, you would love the Steelers as a bet there. Uh the it's crazy, um that the Browns have such better
odds than the Steelers at this point. Yeah, I mean it's not a huge difference to the Browns are plus one thirty five the Pittsburgh Steelers are plus one seventy. But this just kind of a little bit. This still goes back to what Gabe has talked about a lot on the Morning after is that the Steelers have done it. They've been there before. They have a arguably maybe not arguably Hall of Fame quarterback, someone who's won a Super Bowl.
He's been there before. I think the defense will be better, still have an elite offensive line, still have really good weapons. I know they lost Antonio Brown, but I think Juju is gonna be awesome this year. I think, you know, Vance McDonald takes a step up. Overall. I just feel like, you know, the Steelers are not getting enough respect here. I like the moves that the Browns have made in the off season, Greg, but we still have to see
them put it together. And it's you know, it's a it's a first time head coach at the NFL level, So I'm a little skeptical when it comes to the Browns being the favorite right now. Now. Part of the brown success last year, especially when Freddy Kitchens took over,
was the emergence of Nick Chubb. They traded away Carlos Hi midway through the year and Nick chubbing emerged and he was fantastic, and we saw him climbing and climbing and climbing and now sadly really uh into the second round, early second round of fantasy football drafts at this point, he's the twelfth running back off the board at the moment, with an ADP right in the middle of the second round. But and I mentioned this with Kenny and Drake here e y that as good as Nick Chubb is, Kareem
Hunt is lingering. He's out there, he's coming. He suspended for eight games. That leaves eight more games for Kareem Hunt to compete with Nick Chubbs for carries. And I believe that the Browns don't ultimately, and Marlin Mack as well. He's talking about with Marlon Mack. Ultimately, the Browns don't take the pr hit and they don't take everything that comes with signing Kareem Hunt unless they plan on using Kareem Hunt his current ADP in the middle of second round.
I don't think. I don't think I could do it. Man, what are you? Are you talking Hunt or chump? Chump? I got him as my running back six Uh. Some of the turned me onto this was Chris Harris, formerly of ESPN. He's does Harris Football and he's he's a big proponent of like us, trying to project, you know, how many carries they are going to have and and game plan and strength the schedule. Nobody knows. I mean
like nobody knows at all. Not even the coaches on the team that are around these players every day know what's going to happen and how many guys times again, you can it's it's all just guessing. But what you can know is what they've done athletically. And uh, Nick Chubb was a guy. He's a freak. I mean he's he's got size, he's got power, he's got speed, he's got lateral agility, he's got good hands. He can do everything.
This is another guy like mixing Um. But I like his offensive line better and I like his offense better, so I have him really, really high. He's a guy that I had all over the place last year and I held him and I held him and I held him, and then when he started to play, I looked. You know, I reap the benefits of having Nick Chubb. I think he'll be even better this year. He's a guy that I absolutely love. He's got all the tools. And people are like, oh, well, what about Creeman. He's not going
to play until week A ten or eleven. He kept practice with the team like he's it's not gonna be Andrew Luck not a football player. But at that point he's not a football player. I mean he's gonna have to get back up to game speed. Nick Nick Chubb. If he's running with it and running like how he I think he will. You know, Creem Hunt is going to be a guy that spells him now and then when he gets tired, and that's going to be it. Look at Creem Hunt has shown us that he he
is the real deal. But this is a new system, this is a different system. He's not playing in Kansas City, um so, so we don't know what he's going to be there. We saw, especially at the end of the year, what Nick Chubb can be and I'm all over him, honestly, Greg and I said this yesterday when it comes to Kareem Hunt, if you can predict what he is going to be when he steps back into this lineup and if the team, then show me your crystal ball, because I would I would love to get my hands on it.
I would love to be able to use it because honestly, nobody knows. All we can do is try and project what we think is going to happen with Kareem Hunt. And you know, if you ask me today when he's eligible to play, whether it's in week ten, whatever it is, he's probably I'll say it's maybe a seventy split Still,
Nick Chubb getting a large majority of this. You know, maybe they want to keep Chubb fresh down the stretch if they, you know, have aspirations to make it into the to the postseason and and make some noise there. But overall, nobody knows how Kareem Hunt is going to be used. We know how Nick Chubb was used last year and his numbers once he took over as a starter Week seven on, he was the RB eight overall.
His numbers during that span ten games, one seventy six carries at seventeen point six carries per game, eight hundred and twenty three yards, eighty two rushing yards per game, four point seven yards per carry, six rushing touchdowns, two receiving touchdowns, twenty eight targets, so that's right around three targets per game, twenty receptions. I don't know that he's going to catch the ball at a time. I think that much like Leonard four Nett, he's probably someone that
can do it. I just don't know that he's going to be asked to do it, just because the Browns have as many options in the past game as they do, so that's a knock on him. But I think that the yards is gonna be there. I think that the touchdowns are gonna be there. And look, we just spent the past thirty minutes talking about all these weapons on this team, Odell Beckham, Baker Mayfield throwing the ball down the field to these guys Jarvis Landry, David and Joeku.
That opens up running lanes for Nick Chubb. I don't think that it's obviously I don't want to just compare this Brown's team to the Chief's offense from last year because that was a historic offense. But much of what Kareem Harnt was able to do you in that Chief's offense last year was because of all the weapons that they have and every everyone that you have to worry about down the field just opens up so much running room for the running backs, and specifically here on this
Browns team, Nick Chubbs. So I don't really have a problem with where he's going right now. I think, you know, in the NFC, which is a full point PPR league, you might have some question marks about how many catches he's going to pass. I think he's probably in that thirty to forty reception range this year. But overall, I mean, I think he's just some ridiculously, ridiculously good running back.
He tested extremely well top twelve in yards created do great evaded tackles, breakaway runs last year, which is runs of fifteen plus yards. The only knock on him really is the fact that Kareem Hunt will be back, but we don't know how cream unts can be used. And I don't think that he's going to catch as many passes as maybe some other running backs that are going in this second round range, like a Dalvin Cook or a Damian Williams for example. Those guys are going to
catch more passes. But I think it's unquestionable at Nick Chubb will rush for more yards and probably score more touchdowns. So you have no issue drafting him in this spot. No, I think it's a fair spot in the middle of the second round, right And you know he's wise, like he said in the inside that top six as a running back for him, um so ey, you'd be willing to pull the trigger on him in like the late first round range if he's your your best player on
the board. Yep, do you have that? Means above James Conner and and yes, sir, a righty right now, look like they're not there yet, but that's where I have him. Now, totally get it. You're the James Conner guy, E wise, the Nick Chubb guy. I guess I'm like the Joe Mixing guy. I guess that's fair. We'll take each each running back in the A f C North also like mark Ingram allt we'll talk about that tomorrow. Come on with some respect on mark Ingram's name, would you guys
draft Cream Hunt? No? No, I mean you're gonna end up drops of because of what he did and and because of his name. He's going way too early. You can't use them intil week eleven. I mean, who knows? Like, who know? Like that's just silly. I mean to me, I mean he's missing half the season, Greg, I mean we talked about last year, you know, sashing the aformentioned mark Ingram. He was missing four games. That's a lot different than missing eight games. That's half of the season.
By the time we get to week nine in fantasy, we're already starting to think about like the fantasy playoffs and stuff, and like the stretch run there in fantasy run. But let someone else get them, they'll drop him. Then you pick them up week five or six, and you only have to hold on to him for four or five weeks. I'll say this because that's going to happen in keeper or dynasty leagues, like that's where I would pounce on him, Like I would still draft him there.
If I own Nick Chubbing a keeper league, I would want to own Kareem Hunt there as well, to speak, just so I can lock up the Browns running backs of the future, just in case something happens in the second half where Kareem Hunt magically takes over and you have that guy in your roster four years to come.
In a redraft league, your standard fifteen sixteen round draft, graid, you really afford to hold the guy for half the season with as many injuries that are going to occur in fantasy football, the answers probably know, what do you, wy said? If someone else drops him in that you know, week four to six range, you probably pounce hi pick him up. Then out of the rounds. Conversation continue in to the Action hour coming up next. to the Browns. But I know, frank you another questions Ferk, Yeah you y. When we were talking about Baker Mayfield, I noticed that we didn't really get a chance for you to opine on Baker Mayfield and where he's currently going and uh, just frankly, where you have him ranked this year? So how do you feel about Baker Mayfield in effect that he's being drafted as a top five
quarterback right now? Yeah, I've got him number seven. I got him just behind Carson Wentz, and I'm going back and forth on them, and I think it's just gonna depend on what goes on during the preseason and what we're here coming out of camps and stuff like that. So he's a guy like I'm in this really crazy, super intense dynasty league, the only dynasty league I'm in with a bunch of analysts from sirius Um. Michael Rathburn invited me over. I took a guy's team over and
I drafted him. Uh and the rookie draft, so uh, I look really really smart. First year, I took Dalvin Cook. In the second year, I took uh. I took Baker Mayfield, So I'm doing okay building my team back up to strength. Uh. He's a guy that I love. He's interesting, makes the game interesting. Uh new quarterbacks, you know, Like I think like five years ago him coming out, people would have just said, ah, he's short. You know, he's a guy
that runs. I mean, you know he will be able to play in the NFL because he's not tall enough. And this that the other I mean, Drew Brees has proven the short quarterbacks can play. Um, it's more rare than than taller guys because just the mechanics of throwing and looking over the line. But Baker Mayfield a guy I love. I love watching him play. He's got confidence, swagger, whatever you want to call it cockiness. Uh, that's what I want my quarterback to have, and he's got it
in spades with all those weapons. I feel like this will be the breakout season for Baker Mayfield and he'll be a top ten twelve quarterback going forward. For all your Dynasty fantasy football needs, make sure to hit up e y at the Eric Young on Twitter. How don't you do this guy? Dynasty aficionado Greggy Yeah, Domin Cook and uh, Baker Mayfield say he's doing a pretty good job. Absolutely,
Damien Harris this year, Damien Harris this year. You know that Gregg is team Sony Michelle, I'm team Harris to rookie only draft, like like, I mean you know, I mean, you're You're not gonna You're only gonna get so many players in a rookie only draft. Greg Um, Well, we have a couple of minutes before we get into our
best bets forever. We like why I go. You asked me a really interesting question before Frank and he said, when I look at my drafts, I look at tibetso and make what do I take into account or how much are we take into account a player that begins on the active pubulist? And my response was I do. It doesn't matter to me, Like Julian Edelman is gonna be on this publist for the next month because he is a broken thumb. I don't care. He's Julian Edelman.
He'll be fine. He doesn't really need training camp at this point. Correct e Y, what about you? How much do you take it into account during your early season draft about guys that are on the active publist. I mean, at this time of year active populists. It doesn't change
anything for me. Um, It's just I think it's more of a tool for front offices for contract things and stuff like that, shuffling guys around, keeping other guys in camp to see what they are uh, maybe give them another look for another team because they liked the player. And that's all it really is at this point. A broken thumb on a wide receiver that I mean that does We're me as a person that has broken both
of his thumbs. It's not something that heals quickly. Um. It takes a while for for a thumb to heal and be back to strength. So um that that worries me is a wide receiver with a broken finger I mean, and thumb being the most important UH digit on the hand, So that that's something that I would look at. But the fact that he's on that active pup, I wouldn't care about that, but I would really monitor the finger situation. Yeah, I think it's a case by case basis as well. Greg.
I think obviously you want rookies and younger players to get as many reps, or players on new teams to get as many reps with their UH with their new coaches and with around their new team, and so they could pick up the playbook and and and the scheme and everything and learn within that system. So I think
it's a case by case basis. But when it comes to guys like Julian Edelman, yes, pay attention to the thumb injury, but if he was just on the pup list with something that wasn't that serious, like, Okay, it's Julian Edelman, He's been with the Patriots forever, he knows the system. There's not really much to see here. So I think it's a case by k spasis. When it comes to like veterans, I don't really care as much, but specifically younger players and guys moving over new teams,
that's something that I would pay attention to more. And I think that I think that's fine. I I think that um makes plenty of sense. That's what you're gonna pay attention to those guys. Fine, new teams, new places, new opportunities that they're not a lot too, So please be all right. Julian Edeman, he talks about that, talks that you know, one guy, I really I think we see a career here, career year in terms of touchdowns this year for Julian Edelman. You know, one guy, we
I guess I wasn't. I wasn't really there, so I didn't. I didn't know what you guys thought. Are you guys
buying Adam home freezes year in Tennessee? Not really. I mean we spoke more about like we kind of just barely touched on him because there's just a lot of mouths to feed in the Tennessee Titans passing attack right now, Greg, And you know, if people are buying in on the third year breakout for Corey Davis, just the fact that the Titans are not going to be a very uh past happy team means that there's not gonna be a ton of targets to go around. And personally, I like
a J. A J. Brown. He looks like an NFL player to me. I'm I'm pretty excited about him. So I just think that there's a lot of mouths to feed from Corey Davis to A J. Brown, Adam Humphries, Laney Walker is gonna return. We know he has a good rapport with Marcus Mariotta and all the while they want to be a run first football team. So I just don't really think that there's much to go around there. I don't know. I just know that they they same thing like Jian Lewis right, like they invested money in
this guy. He signed with him over New England. I love Dan Lewis this year. I think he's coming out a huge discount like RB something like that. I just think that because of it, like probably gonna side They're they're gonna utilize them more than any of us wants. Why Adam Humphries anything, Yeah, I mean it's interesting with the Dion Lewis thing and that Adam Humphrey, like they mean, especially with Adam Humphries. I know the Patriots we were in on this guy. Adelman is not a spring chicken,
that's for sure. And Humphreys is a guy that's younger than and that could replace him down the road. It I mean, if you're a slot receiver, I mean, is there a better team to play on than the Patriots? But whatever, the coaching staff here told him that enticed him to come here. Uh so that's exciting for me. A guy that's I think he's going to have, uh you know, a fair amount of volume. It's just going to dependent Like we said earlier, is like everyone wants
to be a running team, but the Tennessee Titans. I I believe that to be true. They're they're going to base the offense around Derrick Henry. Um. They proved that near the end of the year last year by giving him a ton of carries, and I think they're going to do that out of the gate this year. Uh and and go with that strategy. Look, that could all change. You get down and you're losing by fourteen. Guess what,
Derrick Henry isn't running the ball twenty five times. So um, that'll be a big thing for Dion Lewis and for Adam Humphrey. So it's gonna be an interesting thing. Look at like, I live in the city. I mean, it doesn't surprise me that he wants to live here. I think Humphreys is a better NFL player in real life play or for what the Titans want to do then what he will actually be for fantasy football this season,
if that makes sense. I think the Titans basically put Marcus Mariota in the best possible position that they can and they're putting it on him now. They're saying, look, you have no excuses, you have a top five offensive line in the league. You have three really good wide receivers, You're getting a veteran tight end back who you really like. You have a strong running back in Derrick Henry. You have another running back that can catch passes in Diana Lewis.
So the Titans are laying it all out on the table this season. Everything is set up for Marcus Mariota to have a career year in terms of success for the Titans. I don't know that that's going to translate necessarily for fantasy purposes, but they're basically saying, carry this team. Now, let's see what the Titans can do with Marcus Mariota as their quarterback. Really good offensive line, really good weapons, and the fact that you know, Derrick Henry should be
their their workhorse running back. So there's no more excuses left for Marcus Mariota. I think that was their thinking overall, with surrounding him with this many weapons. The Tennessee Titans actually the worst odds here. Do you win the a f C South? They are plus five, But there's there's a lot of parody in that division right now, Like it wouldn't surprise me if any team won that division.
I don't agree with that. It wouldn't surprise the Jaggers were five and eleven last year, Greg, and it wouldn't surprise me if they wanted to Titans on the division. Very surprised. What I'm telling you what I what I feel. Okay, what you feel is wrong. I'm just telling you that you might have to put some money down on that be interesting. Yeah, the Titans that plus five fifty Nashville, Tennessee. That's e y right. But again I said this last
week when we were previewing the Titans. You weren't here that day, Greg. They have the they have the recipe to succeed right in front of them, and it's what the Dallas Cowboys do. It's control of the ball, run the football, don't expose your defense too much, because I don't think that they have a world beating defense. But if they're not exposed all that much, then that obviously helps. And I think that's been the same thing for the Cowboys.
And you know, Marcus Mariotta only has to make plays when he's asked to do so, much like Dak Prescott. So the blueprint, yes, is there for the Tennessee Titans to succeed this season, it's just for them to execute it absolutely all right. So coming up we're going to get into our true action. Now we're gonna have a lot of best to talk about from last light where
we were successful. Frank, we were a combined two in one because we both liked the Cardinals, so so we both got that one right right, and then you had the Reds only had to sweat that one out. Greg, Is that a success or not? It was? It was a success you were to and O I was one on one, thank you. So we're gonna do that coming up, Um after the break e y, it's it's been awesome. Tomorrow we have these Steelers and the Ravens and it's my guy, James Conner, Frank Skuy mark Ingram quick preview.
Are you know mark Ingram this year? I like marketing. They're gonna run the ball, that's no secret. Uh. The starting running there is going to have a lot of out volume, um and a lot of value. So mark Ingram is a guy that's interesting and I think being the guy, um, he's got something to prove. I mean, I feel like a professional athlete. Final if minutes the program here bff's action our so Let's get some action, Frank, let's go, let's put some cash on the line. Two and one yesterday. Crushed it with the Reds, crushed it with the Cardinals. Not so much. Trevor Richards seen that one coming. Yeah, I'm sorry, buddy, but hey, you can get rich going to in one, Yes you can. It's a new day, Yes it is. The Washington Nationals and Steven Strasburg are home to night, facing off against Peter Lambert and the Rockies. Frank, Rocky
is probably gonna lose this going. Oh you don't say, Greg. The Nationals are too minus two forty five favorites here on the money line with the total at nine runs. There's weather concerns in Washington got rained out yesterday, so if you started any Nationals or Rockies for fantasy baseball purposes, it might not play again tonight. So that that sucks. But overall, obviously there's not much value to go along to go with here. The only way I'm taking the
Nationals is if I'm parlaying them with another team. Perhaps we can aps we can find that team later on, so we can find a nice little parlay. Yesterday I wanted to do the Astros and somebody else good. It was the Astros in the Diamondbacks. I think in both teams won. Diamond Backs were the other really big favorite. I don't think they were, and they were a big favorite, don't get me wrong, but I think it was here.
Wasn't the Nationals. I think it was the actually was and both teams, both teams, um, it was the Indians one and the Astros one big. That's something that would have passed out at like it was like plus one oh two remember that and uh and Garrett Cole money line, So we'll we'll give you out another parlay today. He likes to pay out what he didn't like the al I said, raises, Robbie, you didn't like yesterday, just because I'm not a huge Robbie Ray guy overall. How about
I rod yesterday? Though? My man on the other side, how about this Craig, I saw jail and Beaks got rocked. As I mentioned, there was a chance that you did been because he doesn't normally start, he usually is used as a follower, right. And actually one of those teams is where nine runs by themselves and the red sides did guess who had Jail and Beaks in their main event lineup. Oh no, I forgot I put him in, dude, So I went and checked it later on. I'm like, oh,
I lost two points in Rodo. How did that happen? Oh? Had jail and Beaks in my line. It great. I just keep losing pitching there. It's just so hard to recover anyway. So I've first season though. Yeah, I'm in third place right now. It's pretty good Cardinals and the Pirates. Chris Archer on them out for Pittsburgh, Dakota Hudson for the St. Louis Cardinals. Yeah, I think the Cardinals are interesting value here, getting them at plus one fourteen on
the money line. The total is nine runs in this game. Uh, that's a good total. I could see it. I can see it going either way there, because Chris Archer has pitched well in the second half so far this season, but he is still prone to being blown up here. Based on the value, I'd lean with the Cardinals. But there's nothing I really love in this game. My my value here is is over. The over is a favorite. It's minus one eighteen, and I think we've seen Chris
Arger get blown up. He's a couple of good stores in the row. Like you said, Koda Hudson is smoking mirrors too, because he has like a high three z r A, but his whip is one point five one, So based on what that whip is, his EERA should probably be closer to like the mid four range. Yeah, to me, I don't really want to get my best
bet yet. My favorite bet thus far, out of the two we've talked about, is the over in this Cardinals and Pirates game, over nine Trevor Bauer Aaron Sanchez, Indians heavy favorite here for Cleveland obviously, Trevor Bauer nine and seven with a three point six seven ear a hundred and seventy strikeouts on the season. Aaron Sanchez with the old six point to six e r A. He is, this is not a typo three and fourteen on the season. Here the Indians minus one eight four on the road
against the Toronto Blue Jays. There's not really any value in taking the Indians trade up, and I don't. I don't trust Trevor Bauer enough to make this the second leg of the parlay, so we'll have to find something else. If I had to to something here, I would probably go with the over nine and a half because Trevor Bauer. As good as he's been, he could still be prone to giving up home runs. And it wouldn't surprise me if the Indians alone put up like seven eight runs
against Aaron Sanchez. So if I had to take something in this game would be over nine and a half. But again, nothing I love yet on the sleep I agree with that. Continuing on Chris Sale and the Red Sox still in Tampa and either taking only Chinos and the Rays, Sale and the Socks are a favorite in this one, and pulling up real quick to see how Chris Sale has done against the Tampa Bay Rai seven a half. Seven and a half is the total the hot swinging Red Sox bats from last night will be
going up against Yanni Charinos. And how about this, In the month of July, Christ Sale has made three starts. His previous star was awesome, he had like twelve strikeouts, but he has a five point five one e r A in the month of July, so there might be some value on that over the seven and a half because Christ Sale has not been the Chris Sale of old recently. He's made one start against the Tampa Bay Rays this year, seven innings, two earned runs eight strikeouts.
I don't love I don't like Chris Sale and the Red Sox enough to make them the second leg of the parlay. If I had to choose something here, Greg, over the seven and a half, But again, I don't love it. The seven halves really small amount of runs. It is a small amount of runs. But would's surprised you of Chris Hale just is awesome tonight. It which
surprised me. The only Trenos is there. He's been pretty good. Fine, come on, Aaron, Aaron Nola, Maddie Boyd, Tigers and Phillies, and your pointing had to me yesterday that Boyd has not been great over the past few starts. No, he has not. His e R A has been on the rise. It's up over four nowns at four point one three. Aaron Nola has mostly pitched better recently at three point seven seven e R In the season, he is eight and two. I actually like the Phillies a decent amount
to to win this game here. It's minus one four, so I'm not sure that I would. Uh, it's something that I would just want to do alone. But let's let's let's try this out right here, Greg, Strasburg and the Nationals money line at minus two and Aaronola and the Phillies hardly that together you get it at plus one thirty two. I don't love the Phillies as much as you do, really, I mean the Tigers are a bad team, very very very bad, very terrible. Yeah. Actually
think I like the Phillies. More common in the Phillies to win than I am the Nationals really, even though they're huge favors. Yeah, Like the Rockies still have a really good lineup. They could give Strasburg a run for his money theoretically. All right, there's also rain concerns in that game. I like the Phillies a lot. Tonight. Is one of your best pets, Sure it is, So it's not you're not You're not getting them at great value or anything. Chris Paddock and the Padres are in the
New York to face the New York Metropolitans. Paddock minus one forty and I eight and a half. As the Winter was your best bet so far was the over nine in the Cardinals and the Pirates, alright was Pitt over nine? Next up, we have, as you mentioned, Chris Paddock going up against Jason Vargas. Huh YEA like the Padres a decent bit here as well. Just pat coming off that monster start against the Miami Arlens. The Padres actually performed quite well against left handed pitching on the season.
They have a three thirty weighted on base average against left handed pitching that is ninth best in baseball. I like the Padres a decent amount tonight as well. And we know that he just kind of has like a vendetta against Pete Alonso because Alonso is probably gonna win the National League Rookie of the Year. He is gonna win the National League View of the Year. So we saw last time Paddock played the Mets, he was fired up. He was like freaking out every time he pitched against
the Pete Alonso. I like the Padres to win tonight as well. How about this, Craig, and I interest you in this? Probably not because you don't like the Phillies that much. Parlay the Phillies money line and the Patres money line two road favorites. You get them at plus one eight two combined. That makes sense. It's pretty good. Well, it's good them, yeah, yeah, I mean Paddick against Vargas, Aaronola against the Tires like upset Special tonight. I hope
it's not Jason. It is not, okay, Jason Vargas. It is Danny Duffy and the Royals. He was part of my parlay last week. That's correct, my upset Special of the night. Folks. You're getting the Royals at plus one in Atlanta, a Royals team that is seven and three in their last ten games. How are they gonna hit the ball? Is Bo Jackson coming back to play for them? To Bo Jackson doesn't need to Yeah, they got no Adelbertomond to see Greg, you don't need them. I think
I think they could use them right now. Well, they could use them, but they don't need them any Duffy plus I like it. Braves this year against left handed pitching seventh and waited on bass average grad Does that matter at all? Just letting you know upset Special the night Royals against lefties Dallas, Kiko left. I'm just letting you know, Frank, is your upset special tonight is one of your best bets. No, it's just your upset upset Special of the night. So you can just throw a
bunch of stuff out. I know, I don't do that every day. That's fine, that's fine. Don't you do throw out some some interesting upset special And here's one alright, alright, Cincinnati Reds in the Milwaukee Brewers. Greg, now the Reds last night tonight, it's Tanna row Ark pitcher for since Zack Davies on the mound for the Milwaukee Brewer crew. How do you like Tanna ROWARKG. I don't like this game. I feel like you used to be the Tanner Rowark guys that I had him last year called yeah, because
I always start even underratedly solid everybody. It seems like everybody owns Tanna Rowark once per season in Fantasy per year. Yeah, Tanner Rowork at three point nine seven ear a going up against Zach Davies a two point seven nine ear a. This game's taking place in Milwaukee in Miller Park. The total is nine and a half. I like the over a decent amount here, Greg. Do you think nine and a half Davies against Yeah, Tanna roar, No, no, no, it's a little a little bit too high for you. Yeah,
all right, we'll stay away. Sorry, Marlins and White Sox next no work, No, um, they'll let you down last night. This is Trevor Richard is right here. It is Smith. He's doing coming slight favorite here that at nine dealing Covie not good pitching for the White Sox tonight. I was on the Marlins last night. Greg, let's go back to the well. The Marlins minus one twenty. I have a little round robin here, Greg, what do you think
about that? You're crazy, man? Marlins minus one twenty, the Padres minus one forty, the Phillies minus one fifty four. Let's round robin that. Get it every which way we possibly can play them individually. You're gonna be a winner tonight. Tell you that right now. Sure to know you ever went wrong, you know, betting on the Phillies, the Padres and the Marlins in the same night, right, Greg Domingo Herrman and the Yanks in Minnesota face the Twins. I
like CC last night. I was dead wrong about that one. You weren't far off. I mean they lost the game eight to six. Yeah, but they were bad last night. Yeah. CC specifically was awful. Yeah, he was even seven runs not good? A harmon minus one twenty. Tonight, Yankee slight favorites on the road against the Twins. Kyle Gibson has been up and down this year. The Yankees have actually been much better against right handed pitching. If there's ever a night to bet on the Yankees, I think it's
a night, Greg. Yeah, sense being a harmon has probably been their most consistent starting they for some reason, I really don't. Yeah. I mean they're not part of my you know, awesome parley here. But the A's and the Astros, Wade Miley, Mike Fires not a mess, the Astros minus one sixty six. I feel like Wade Miley pitched against
the the A's recently and it did not go over well. No, because I mean, along with betting on the Phillies, Padres and Marlin's all on the same night, Greg, the one thing that I don't want to add to that is betting on Mike Fires in the Oakland A's. So I will avoid this game. Continuing on, we get to these very big tonight Slate Man the Os and d Backs. Meryll Kelly versus Dylan Bundy heavy heavy favorite. You're Dylan Bundy. You're trying to talk me into Dylan Bundy like two
months and I succeeded in that. Dylan Bundy and the Oreos underdogs here at plus one sixties six divon backs are just they're too big a favorite here. I just don't trust Meryl Kelly as far as I can throw them. I haven't seen Meryll Kelly in person, so maybe i'd be able to throw him a decent amount. But minus one just don't like those odds here. Here's my next pick. Best bet coming up. It's the Cubs and the Giants, Bunny and those stupidly hot Giants pictures duel taken on
you darbish and the Cubs. This is an easy one. I hope we're gonna say two different things, all right. I'm three, Greg, reveal your bet one to three line, all right. I was actually gonna say the coud money line too, but then I thought you manage it over because your best to yeah minus one twelve us ever said, uh, Angels and Dodgers tonight, Dodgers are heavy favorite. I'll hate the Angels here. Rangers and Mariners don't touch that one. Want to thank Y for joining us, Danny and everybody
else downstairs. He's for example, I'm Greg so much for watching. We'll do go tomorrow, we hope from the NFL to the NBA Daily Rodo dot Com is the place to win millions in daily fantasy. Here's what you missed on the BFS. Let me start with running back. I always imagined Tyler Boyd before I was getting him a j Green a little bit. But let me store the running backs and let me start
with Joe Mixon. Where's Joe Mixon going right now, Frankie, Joe Mixon is going right now at that late first early second round range. Specifically, I'm gonna start using um July as the dates because that was the day that the Tyreek Hill news was announced, so I obviously changes everything. So Joe Mixon since then over the past five days is a DP is fifteen point six four is RB nine off the board sandwich between Melvin Gordon and Todd Gurley.
Very interesting range of running backs, must say so myself. Yeah, that's that's a really interesting spot between Melvin Gordon and Joe Mixon anti Gurley, and I'd like to think that I'd like to think that Joe Mixon at this moment is the safest of those three, given the contract from Melvin Gordon, given the knee of Todd Gurley. Nixon is also going right after my guy James Connor as well. Oh you I thought like mixing more than Connor, didn't you.
I have Connor rank once about higher. You do? Yeah? Ok, Even when I did the first round mock for the FanDuel hurry up, I had Conrad of Levin and I had mixed nets waight I convinced you that, yes, yes, I forgot. I forgot Joe mixed him. It's funny because because of the offensive line, I wasn't on him at all.
And then again, it's the end of July. Kind knows how what will change, But I wasn't really on it at all because they did have multiple injuries along the offensive line, not just the rookie left tackle, and I'm just like, I don't want to do this. And you went up to me a little while ago. I was like, Hey, the same crap offensive line and they finished as a top twelve running back last season. Why can't he do that again in a better offense than when you said?
That kind of made sense. So let me throw this to you, e y, where do you have Joe Mixon ranks? And how would you compare him to both Melvin Gordon and Todd Gurley given their situations? Uh? Yeah, currently I think I have him a number eleven, and uh I had him higher than that. And then the left tackle got hurt and they're moving the guy I believe the right tackle back to left tack coal um. But the more I'm thinking about it, I mean I could move
him back up the offensively. I said, his opportunity, and for someone with his skill set and his his crazy athleticism, all he needs his opportunity. He has a three down back. He can play all three downs. He can catch, he can run in space, he's got size, he's got speed. I mean he's I mean literally, if you're going to build a running back from scratch, I mean I believe he would turn out just loud Joe Mixon looks, so
it's uh, I might have to move him up. He's at eleven now, but I mean we're so far out from the season, like they're just starting training camp, so I mean this is all up for debate, but uh, you're thinking about it now. I might have to move him up a little bit. I like mixing. Be sure to follow all our social media at EV and t s Y sports Net and at EV and t s Y Radio and now I'm tweeting about you, Bra. Couldn't
