De de Yeah, he's welcome your bab your host by day from mine right, that's fine. Your host by guy bro say Francis Trant stand ball ladies and gentlemen, your BFFs, welcome back to the BFFs hour to hear the action hour. I am Frank sam Full no brake Susman. He's out celebrating his basselor party. I should have got great to
skype in. I don't want to bother him, though, you know he's out doing his bachelor thing. He probably got his legs up somewhere. We saw the image earlier. He likes his fruity drinks. He might be in a pool somewhere. I hope the weathers are right in Florida. Honestly, I couldn't tell you. It's kind of it's kind of crummy here in New York City. That's what That's the word I would use today. It's crummy. But joining me for
hour two is uh. Alex Fosano. You can fall on Twitter at Alex Fozzano with a Z A K A the fast, a k A body barn. What's going on? Alex? I'm good to be here, Frankie, thank you for having me. I don't know where the name body Barn came from. We're gonna get exact, but apparently we're gonna get into that. Thanks for having me. Honor to be here today. It's an honor to have you in studio here. Alex. Alex is one of our video producers downstairs. He's a great
job helping out. There's a lot of behind the scenes stuff. There's a lot of graphics with us as well. And you know, no Greg Susman, I figured give the young the young gun a shot here. Appreciate that. I'm going to appreciate. You're gonna talk about some some future bets that Alex wants to throw down here tomorrow. He he mentioned this earlier on in the week. He's got some time to kill tomorrow. He's gonna go out to Jersey maybe with Gabe. I don't know. Don't get yourself in
too much trouble if you end up about that. I don't know about that, but he's gonna end up in Jersey tomorrow. He wants to put in some NFL futures. I'll talk about some MLB and some NBA stuff. That I like as well. We'll do that after we come back from the break here. But I mentioned Alex Fossano a k a. The Faz first of all before we get into the boarty bar thing. Where does the Faz come from? So my last name Fossano F A S A I O UM. In middle school, I went to
a Catholic high school, Cathee Middle School. So I had a lot of uncles and family members that went to this school, and they actually ended up graduating with one of the gym coaches who ended up teaching there. And when they were in school together, the gym coach who told he just there now called my uncle who was there at the time, Faz. And then my other uncle who went there got the name Faz, and my brother who went to high school got a name for It's
just like a family name. It's actually pretty cool. I wasn't expecting that cool of the story. I thought you were just gonna say, well, you know, my, my, my, I couldn't get my my Twitter handle with the S, so I just went with the and that's why it is. But that's actually a pretty cool story. And you know, I thought it might have been like the fons kind of thing like, yeah, I've gotten the Fonds and I've also gotten that seventies show Fez. You know, I said,
good day. You haven't watched that seventies show. I actually haven't, but I know I understand why it's so post Yes, it was great show, and so Fez is one of the other names that I've been confused with, but it is faz, Fazzano, Fizzano, Fasano, whatever you want to call me. You know, while we're on the topic of that seventies show, I feel like Greg is always flabberg Acid is the word I would use to describe how little I know about anything that's going on in the outside world or
just in general. I haven't watched that seventies show. I haven't watched Seinfeld in my life. Does that surprise you? I mean, do you get do you get flabberg acid when you find out some of these things about me? I will say this, not not only about you, but in general. The lack of common knowledge that I've been around over the last couple of weeks is appalling. I mean, just the couple of the day, you know I'm going
with this. We asked the people in the pit downstairs who invented electricity, to which some people responded, who frank who invented electricity? I was one of those people, I said, Thomas Thomas Edison. The answer is Benjamin Franklin. Thomas Edison invented the light bulb. And it finds you Alex is younger than me. How old you? I'm twenty years years old, Philly, one of those old guys. I remember when I was twenty three. Live it up. I am twenty seven this year.
You're like a grandfather to me. I don't know, man, I gotta, I gotta figure this out. I gotta. I don't know. Maybe it's gotta be a company wide thing where we all kind of just study up on things that we should know general knowledge. You know, it's pop culture, it's politics. Look, I don't like to get into the politics side of things because there's obviously a lot of division in the world right now, and I'll leave it at that. Um, there are obviously other reasons that I
just kind of think it's boring overall as well. But um, yeah, I don't. I don't get involved in politics like a lot of pop culture stuff. I don't watch the news. I don't. I'm just kind of like having a revelation on the air right now. So excuse me for that, Alex, because it seems like at times I'm reminded that, like you know more common knowledge things than I do. There's a lot of people out there. Yeah, I don't know that though. I mean, I'm right with you. I don't
like politics myself. I don't ever care for politics. To me, we lose in the end because people are gonna be upset no matter what happens. And we just lost the Greg Susman demographic that was listening for some political updates here exactly. And that's sorry to the Greg demographic. We apologize for political talk, yes we do. We do apologize.
The other side of of that nickname was Bordy Barn. Now, unless you live in New York or specifically in Long Island, that's where this takes place, correct it, you don't know what Bordy Barn is. You probably didn't know what Bordy Barn is. I will let Alex describe what Body Barn is because a lot of my friends, my cohort has been a part of Body Barn. I have never gone. I've seen many pictures that you've heard of it I've
seen many a catastrophe involved with body Barn. Please break it down to the viewers, now, Alex, all right, well, I guess the short version with we call on Bardi Barn because he has attended body Barn before. I mean, I I go to body Barn one. You know you go only for the summers. Let me let me just preface that you can only go to body Barn during the summer. So it's only open from Memorial Day the Labor day. What the hell is a boardy barn? Now?
A body barn is this giant circus tent that's just sitting in an open field in the Hampton's out of east on Long Island, Eastern Long Island, the Hampton Bays, to be quite specific. And all you gotta do is you go in, you give them a cover charge, and it's what's the cover charge? It's a twenty dollar cover charge charge? All right? But there are hundreds of people in basketball jerseys, in tank tops and Hawaiian shirts and it is the perfect day drinking atmosphere for anybody who
attends nineties music. I love nineties music. Giants speakers and giant speakers, and I'd say about twenty to thirty bars. I like all of those things. What I fit in. I might be a little too old to go. I don't think you would, because there are people who have this is like bud Light, and they do have shot, they do have shots and drinks available. But the bud light is only two dollars, so why would you pass
that up? And there are two dollars all right, so that makes sense, so they give you two dollar beers. There's a twenty dollar cover charge. The reason I bring this up, Barty Barn is a very ratchet experience. We'll talk about more ratchet experiences when we come back here on the Fantasy Sports Network. Here the BFS. That's Alex

Before the break, I was reminded that Benjamin Franklin did, indeed discover electricity, was not Thomas Edison. I would fail horribly at are you smarter than a fifth grader? It's not just like a public school system thing. I actually learned all this stuff. I
just don't remember any of it. Admittedly very bad memory. Probably stop drinking, not the best retainer of information. Probably shouldn't go to Barty Barn anytime soon. To wrap up the party barn conversation. So I intend a lot of people drunk. When you drink a beer, they put a yellow smiley face sticker on you, and it's just it's a it's a disaster. It's I use the word ratchet, going to break urban dictionary. Ratchet. It's very it's sloppy, sloppy, right,
I mean it's a fun time. Yeah, But I think you would you would thrive there. I would thrive with you would thrive stand up on They have these like shelvings that you could stand up on. Look everything like it's a it's a great time. I think we need to get the whole crew out there, the whole, the whole stad We probably should make something work. I mean, Greg Sussen is not The Hampton's works very well for
Grace Sussman. He's very familiar with the I don't know that for fact that I'm just assuming based on, you know, his attire at but the Hamptons. All right, we'll have to make our way out there. He doesn't like bud Light though, so that's not gonna work. He likes fancy expensive I Sunrise. Yeah, I like tequila. But all right, let's jump into some of these some of these future bets, do it. Let's let's jump in here. You said you have time available tomorrow. You're trying to kill some time.
You're gonna go out to Jersey. You're gonna place these bets. You can talk in a lot about future bets. Admittedly, there's some baseball going on today. I'll give you my best bets for baseball later on in the show. Actually gave you a two leg parlay last night. Both of those hit that was the Kansas City Royals money line, that was the Padres, the christ Paddock led Padres last night, who took a no hitter deep into that game. Those were the two legs of the of the parlay and
they both hit last night. So I'll give you two more picks tonight that I really like in baseball. But admittedly, outside of golf, it's kind of a dry time right now. So we're looking towards the future where start talking a little bit about division winners. We throughout the Vikings earlier on in the week. Our buddy big Timer in the chat really likes the Vikings as a as a sleeper super Bowl pick. So let's start off with what are
some of the things that you're looking at it. Admittedly you are a Pittsburgh Steelers family, let's start there with the a f C. North Is that is that something that you're going to look into wagering on tomorrow when you're laying down some futures. So just again disclaimer, this is going to be my first time adding anything in my life in terms of sports. I'm gonna go on the app. I'm not gonna go to the actual sports book. I'm gonna use the app. So you're going to see
Caucus use the app. It's exactly what I used to do. So, right, if you take the Path train to the Caucus, you get off, there's a bunch of bars right over there, so you can legit just sit down and turn a couple of beers. And they have like promo codes in there for actually for the apps as well, so like you can use all that stuff. You can use our promo codes as well. Absolutely so, but yeah, it's actually
not bad. That's something that I've actually done myself. Have to keep that in mind, look out for some good bars. But um, going off that, so, I'm looking at the n f C North and I don't usually like Like I said, I know, this is my first sports bet, but I never like to wager with my team. I'm sure a lot of people who who bet feel the same way. I ain't betting crap on the Jets here, I'll tell you that. I know we all know how you feel about the Jets. Rankie. I hope they go
O and six seen and fire Adam Gaze. We'll continue, Alex. That's that's a big hope. Um. So Cleveland Brown is saying, up, what's more likely the Jets go O N sixteen or they go sixteen and uh it's it's an easy answer. I know, O and sixteen, but I feel like they're not gonna go oh and sixteen to see. I'm a little taking with you. I kind of like the Jets heading Ina well you you're a Steelers fans, so they have someone that's close to your heart. I'm gonna I
keep cutting you up. I'll let you go. Alex all right, AMC North Division winners. If I'm gonna bet my team with the Steelers, I'm gonna pick winning the division over anything else. I don't want to put them in winning the super Bowl because if they don't even make the division, they're not gonna go to the playoffs. So what's the point.
So Steelers just in a plus one seventy right now to win the division, Browns are plus one thirty five of the favorite, and you got the Ravens plus two eight and the Bengals forget it there plus t hundred. Andy Dalton's not leading since anywhere, so I know, not even how dare you come on? I mean, what about Zach Taylor. I'm let coach unless uh Tyler Boyd is available, uh in the slot being the Ravens till they go to the playoffs. I'm not watching any Cincinnati Bengals game.
That's fair. Yeah, I mean, come on, they're gonna be I think the offense should at least be fun to watch this year for the Cincinnati Bengals A J. Green, Tyler Boyd. But overall I agree with you this Inincinnati Bengals are plus eighteen hundred to win this division. That is the a f C. North. I heard Gab Gabe ranting and raving this morning about Baker Mayfield and how he hasn't accomplished anything, and that the Cleveland Browns are walking around like they're this hot shot team right now.
They are the favorite to win this division at plus one thirty five. I actually agree with you and Gabe wholeheartedly. The Browns haven't done it, and I understand that we are projecting forward, and that's a lot of what we do for fantasy football as well. We have to look towards the future. There's a big target on the Cleveland Browns back this year, something that they have not had before. Let's as great as Baker Mayfield is, as much as I love them, this year for fantasy there's a target
on his back. He is somebody who talks a lot. Teams are going to want to go out there and make him pay. This is like, this is a situation like when the Super the defending Super Bowl champ comes to your building, or for any sport. We've heard this across all sports, right. You know, when once the Golden State Warriors started winning their championships, it was harder for them to put up the same type of numbers in the regular season. And look, they didn't win this year.
There's a target on your back once you win before. Browns don't have that, and they still have a target on their back because of their quarterback Baker Mayfield. He's making things very difficult for them. I think he's talented. I have question marks about the offensive line. They traded away Kevin Zeitler in order to get Odell Beckham. The offense is gonna be awesome. There's no doubt. Odell Beckham
electric number one wide receiver. Him and his buddy Jarvis Landry they played together at L s U. They have a dynamic running back in Nick Chubb, who I know you like a lot because you have him as your keeper in fantasy football. We talked about that a lot together. But there is a target on their back. Will the defense show up? They have Myles Garrett, they have Olivier Vernon, so they have the pass rushers. They have Denzel Award, who at times last year looked like a show down cornerback.
There's no doubt about it. All of these things have to culminate and work together. Is Freddie Kitchens going to be able to keep things from unraveling when Odell Beckham isn't getting the ball thrown his way and he starts throwing temper tantrums or Baker Mayfield's doing stupid stuff in the media and saying stupid stuff in the media. I think it's very lazy to compare him to Johnny Manziel. I understand why people do it. White, spunky quarterback can run a little bit. I think it's kind of a
lazy comparison. I said this downstairs. I think on the field, Baker Mayfield is probably closer to Russell Wilson than he is Johnny Manziel And I understand that that is a that is a high, high praise for him. But I'm with you, man. I like the Pittsburgh Steelers at plus one seventy to win this division. They have a quarterback who has done it before in Ben Roethlisberger. They have one of the three best offensive lines in the NFL. I think that the defense is going to be better
this year. I don't think that the offense really takes that big of a step back, even with Antonio Brown. I don't want to discount Antonio Brown. But this is a team that just played without Levian Bell and they didn't miss a beat. I think Juju is gonna be awesome. I mean, Dante mon Creef and James Washington are gonna be awesome. I like it. I like it at plus one sevent so we heard the closing down stairs. The Browns are still gonna win the division. I don't think so.
I'm with you. I love the Steelers at plus one se The biggest thing I want to stay with the Steelers, And they've been saying this since the beginning of reports about training camp and prepping for the season and this and that. The one thing, the constant that the Steelers players and coaching staff has said over the weeks, everybody's against us, were the underdogs, everybody's counting us out, and
we love it. We thrive off that they are actually the underdogs compared to the Browns here, not like some fake little thing that Julian Edelman made last year. Yeah, we're the underdogs. Were the underdogs New England Patriots and Tom Brady you have the goat on your team. You weren't underdogs the Steelers based on these odds, they are underdogs compared to the Cleveland brown and they love it,
and I love it too. I think this is one of if you're looking at division winners, I know you're not getting them at crazy odds, but if you look at a team that you're getting at plus money right now, I don't. I can't find a team that I like more than the Pittsburgh Steelers. From the NFL to the NBA, Daily Rhodo dot com is the place to win millions in daily fantasy. This is the Action hour. We were talking about some division winners with potential division winners before we get back into the NFL. I'm gonna throw it your way Alex, to give us a little bit of an update here on the British Open. What do you got? So the day is pretty much coming to an end. Round one is wrapping up nicely. Sitting at first places JB. Holmes, the American at minus five is five under Shane Lowry, who has been holding the number one spot all day.
The Irish Irish Man Shane Lowry, he's in minus four under two, and you got Webb Sampson, Sergio Garcia and Alex Nori in all three under. You know they're kind of dancing around the third place spot. But you just asked me where your boy Rory. I want to hear where some of the big heavy hitters were. Give me Rory, Rory mcelroyd, right, now through round one of the British Open. What do you got Rory McElroy sitting at eight over, tied for aft. Is that is that bad? That? It's
pretty bad? That's pretty bad. That's pretty bad. He was the favorite heading into this thing, Rory McElroy at plus eight right now through round one of the British Open. You mentioned there were someone right around him as well. Who might that be? Yeah, tied for a four, sitting at seven over Tiger Woods at seven over right now through the first round of the British Open. Where does Brooks kept go land? He was one of the betting favorites. He is still in this tied at third, sitting at
three under alright, alright, so he's showing up so far. Look, there's a lot, there's a lot of golf to play. Not really a great start there for Tiger Woods and specifically Rory McElroy, who was the betting favorite here in the British Open. Ah for that. Brooks is still sitting at plus four fifty to win the whole thing, and he's at three under now, tied for third. Okay, so that's live betting, live betting, all right. They pretty much over. So the standing of the top standings right now, are
not necessarily gonna change the clue. This guy who's still going is Ashton Turner. He's tied for third with three under. He's on the whole four team. So are you gonna throw anything down on golf tomorrow, Brooks? I mean, if I throw a couple of shackles on that, he's still in this thing. He's probably the only uh, big name American that we able. Web Simpson's up there too, but like he's uh, he's competing his heart out and he has a knack for winning championships, So a couple of
shakes on Kepka couldn't hurt. There you go. That is the British Open update with Alex Passano here on the BFS action. Now, I want to jump back into some football. You mentioned during the break, Alex that you were looking at some Super Bowl champion futures as of now. I threw two of these in before the season. Last year. I had the Chargers and the Rams. Both teams made the playoffs. Obviously, the Rams made the Super Bowl. The Chargers looked like they were poised to go deep ran
into the buzz saw. That is the new England Patriots. Of course, Philip Rivers arch to meet Tom Brady and Bill Belichick. Just can't figure those two out. So I think I don't want to have recency bias and just fade the Chargers. But as someone who has bet on the Chargers in the past, I feel like I don't know that it's ever gonna happen because in the postseason, I just we we've seen enough of Philip Rivers at this point where I just don't know if it's ever
gonna happen. I mean, are there is that one of the ships that you might be looking at the sitting plus nine hundred right now to win the Super Bowl? But I wish there was a way to bet making the Super Bowl within due Unfortunately don't have that option. You can, you can due to win the AFC Championship. They have the charges at plus seven fifty for that, but that would also require them to beat the New
England Page. So you're probably better off betting on someone to make it to the NFC Championship if you're not betting on the Patriots. Yeah, I mean, I I got I'm looking at the Saints. How do you bet against the Patriots? That's the thing. And they're sitting at seven two, so you might as well grab them now while they have the value. Patriots seven to one to win super Bowl fifty four this season, which will be held in Miami. I'll tell you one team who will not be in
the Super Bowl, Adam former team. That would be the Miami Telphants. They're hosting the Super Bowl. There's virtually no chance of them making the super Bowl, let alone winning the Super Bowl. They actually have the worst odds at plus fifteen thousand. Yes, I love it. That would be a hundred and fifty one. I don't think that Josh Rosen and Ryan fitz Magic is going to uh is going to make that happen. Who were a few teams that you were actually looking on throwing some money down here?
The Saints obviously, because they were one play away from making the Super Bowl. And again I do I do agree with betting on NFC teams more so than AFC. I just don't really want to bet against the Patriots. You're absolutely right, And even even without the Patriots, you look at the Chiefs, who I'm also considering for the Super Bowl Championship. They're sitting at plus eight hundred, and you said that the a f C is just filled with the Patriots, the Chiefs, the Chargers, the Steelers. You know,
I had to throw them in there. Um, it's just you're right, the NFC teams of the way to go. So the Saints at plus nine hundred, I'm looking at even. I know this might sound crazy, but the Bears at seventeen hundred, I think their defense could carry them a little bit. And I like Mitch Drabinski heading into this season. You said it a little bit earlier in the day. He's not the best quarterback, but he's a game manager and he could run around a lot of uses his
legs very well. Uh So I kind of like the Bears sitting at the plus seventeen hundred. Um even, you said it before. If you're looking back at the division winners, uh, the NFC North is wide open. So you got the Vikings to win the championship at plus three thousand, and we spoke about that earlier in the week, myself and the closer Chris Venture. You're getting them at thirty to one right now plus three thousand on the Fandel Sports book.
I know our our buddy big Timer in the YouTube chat has placed a seven hundred and fifty dollar wager on the Vikings that would pay out over eighteen thousand dollars if they win. So, uh, you're to say he'll be throwing out a few skull chances this season when it comes to the minute sort of Vikings, I'll throw an NFC team your way. How about them Cowboys? You know I was gonna say them because they're right next to the Bears one plus Legitimately, Look, they made it
to the postseason last year. They made it past the Seattle Seahawks, partially thanks to Brian Schottenheimer thinking that, you know, we're playing football in the nineties seventies and they're just running the football when Russell Wilson is the highest paid player on that team, one of the highest paid players in the NFL. So the Cowboys have the Seahawks to thank for that. They ran into the Los Angeles Rams couldn't get past them. But I look at the Dallas Cowboys,
it's kind of similar to the Chicago Bears. I heard you mentioned the Chicago Bears A plus seventeen hundred. I don't love those odds because I think when you need your quarterback to make a play, I don't trust Mitchell Robinsky. You trust the little Dack over Mitch. I think he's kind of in a he's in a similar range. But I do trust Dak little bit more. I think if you have both of those guys as quarterbacks and you're
and you're asking me which one. If you need a quarterback to drive down the field and win you a playoff game, who do you trust more? Between Dak and Mitchell Trabiskie. I trust Dak Prescott and that's just me. But he hasn't necessarily done it. He still needs to progress as a quarterback. As a passer. It seems like at times he's a little bit too scared to turn the ball over, so he doesn't take chances. He's got to take more of those chances. He can make plays
with his legs. Hopefully Zeke is on this team, but I heard Greg talking about it yesterday that he expects Zeke to play this season, that he's not going to
hold out. I think that they have a very good defense as well, and that's what it comes down to, right So when you get to the postseason, if you could play good defense and you can run the ball and keep an opposing really good quarterback off the field like a Drew Brees, like a Russell Wilson, or keep an offense off the field like a like the Los Angeles Rams. They couldn't do it last season. But I think the Dllas Cowboys that to one, are an interesting team.
You know, going off that you said it, defense is the biggest player in this and you're looking at the defense of death chart. I mean Vander esh who had a great season last year, Byron Iron Jones, Xavier Woods in the secondary for this team, You're right, Dallas should be a team to consider, and you're right, you got to one odds a couple of shekels on the Cowboys. As much as I don't want to throw it on the Cowboys because a you don't want to have to root for the cow exactly. I am a Steelers fan.
I don't want to root for the Cowboys. But even if I wasn't a Steelers fans, is that an actual rivalry kind of right, because like they're the two like storied, most storied franchises. And you consider America's team and I know a lot of people are gonna disagree with me with this, but America's team today is not just the Cowboys, the Steelers, the Eagles, even the Patriots, the executive during
the break, you can call whoever you'd like. But you look at the fan bases and and you just see the support that they get worldwide, even because now football is a global sport. I mean, see the Steelers fans, You see the Eagle fans, because Eagles specifically because of the new Super Bowl with the Steelers and the Cowboys, two of the most traditional and historical franchises, LEA, there's no doubt in that. Would you put the Jets in that mix? I'm just kidding. I don't think you can.
I mean, was it get it right? Come on? Super Bowl three? Super Bowl three? Mets Jets year. I know in nineteen sixty nine as a Mets fan, I feel you so that I wasn't. I wasn't even a twinkle in my father's eye in nineteen and I was, no, you were not. Your father was three. But at least you've seen the Steelers win, that's true. I do not take that for Agda very humbled to two Super Bowls too,
Steelers super Bowls. In my life. Honestly, the the deep playoff run that the Jets had under Rex Ryan, back to back years they make the a f C Championship. Of course, losing to your Pittsburgh steel I remember that game. You want to know a funny story about that game. Who'd you guys not even that game? The year after that or a year around that, you guys got knocked out of the playoffs one year a week sixteen seventeen
by the Bills. Correct, Yes, Yan Fitzpatrick, thanks and uh for nothing a quarterback by the name of Tyrod Taylor. Tyrod Taylor, that's correct. And uh right after that game, we made the playoffs the wild card spot because of you guys. So I said to my dad and I said, you know what, we gotta get a talied about Taylor jersey. I have a white, red, white and blue pins stripe, a white, beautiful Buffalo Bills Tyrod Taylor jo as he singing in my closet, because he knocked you guys out
of the playoffs. That is so random, But look, I can't blame you. Um that run where the Jets got eliminated by Ben and the Steelers was my most fawn memories of being a Jets fan. I mean to be able to knock out Peyton Manny and Tom Brady in the same playoff dude, like, there's nothing like it. And it was Mark Sanchez. I mean, it was just smash mouth football. It was Thomas Jones, Rex Ryan LaDainian Tomlinson
chipping in as well. I mean that that would Those are my most fondest memories of being a Jets fan. You know, I have close friends of mine that are Patriots fans, so watching that game with them and beating Honestly, it was it sucks that they got knocked out by the Steelers, your Pittsburgh Steelers, but it was almost like they won the Super Bowl. Yeah yeah, I mean you you eliminated Tom Brady and Peyton Manning in the same playoff run. It was phenomenal. I haven't seen much of
that since. But at me for coming in the next day saying the Steelers meet the Pageots this year, the Stealers meet the Pageots. Well they did in the playoffs, it would have been I have to agree with Greg. I mean regular season game. That's Alex Pisano, Frank Stanford. We'll be back right after the bag the break, talk about some more future. They got some MLB, some NBA stuff.

Gambling problem called Gambler's twenty one and over. Your jersey only. Eligibility restrictions apply. See website for details. All right, Alex, what did you end up with here? As your final bets that you're going to be placing tomorrow. We got three future Super Bowl champion bets. We got one division winner where you go with the Chiefs, the Saints, the Cowboys and the Steelers to win the division. All right,
stop bad, I like it there, Chiefs. I mean, look, you could argue that they should have won that game against the Patriots. I mean, they didn't get a chance to touch the ball. I mean, you know everyone's gonna make the argument, well, play better defense, don't put yourself in that position. Then all right, I get it. They fired their defensive coordinator. We're hoping that the defense is better this year. But I mean, just from a pure football perspective, we wanted to see that game go for
as long as humanly possible. I mean, that was just a ridiculously fun game to watch between Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs going up against Tom Brady and the Patriots. So hopefully, and you know, we're probably destined to see that once again this year, whether you know it's in the a f C Championship or earlier on in the postseason, but we're probably going to see that once again. And
you know, the Chiefs came close, they came within. You know that a play you know, a drive and overtime drive, a coin flip of of beating the New England Patriots and being in the Super Bowl. So I don't think that that's if you're gonna been on someone in the a f C. You know the Chiefs and their offense. The way that the NFL is trending. I know everyone says, you know, defense wins championships. You gotta get to the championship. The way you get to the championship, you need an
electric offense. The Chiefs have one of, if not the best in the NFL, So I don't I don't hate that one. And then obviously I talked to you into the Dallas Cowboys. I think that they have, you know, one of the three best defenses in the NFL. Jak Prescott has to make, has to take that next step obviously, and we need Zeke Elliott to not hold out. And then the other one was the New Orleans Saints. Yes, I mean, hey, pass interference, we all saw it last
They have a really good defense as well. They have a Hall of Fame quarterback. Everything is in place here for the New Orleans Saints. So yeah, I like those. I I could get behind those. I'm probably gonna put in my bets closer to when the season starts. Hopefully, hopefully the odds don't change all that much. But hey, I mean, if you want to just just to throw it out there, injuries are gonna happen during training camp and things are gonna happen that are gonna end up
affecting the odds. Here. Obviously speaking odds, if you want to go division winner, just the Cowboys instead of going all the way to the super Bowl, they're at plus one forty to win Division. Eagles of mine is one ten. Okay, Yeah, I've been talking about the Eagles that I still all things consider, I like the Eagles to win the division if I if I were betting on it, if I were betting on it, I would say I agree with
them being the favorite to win. But what I've also said about the Eagles is that there is a lot of volatility involved. They have a high ceiling because of Carson Wentz in that elite offensive line, and I think the defense bounces back. But there's also a big downside because Carson Wentz does have this serious back injury, and they don't have Nick Foles anymore. They don't really have that competent backup quarterback that they've had in years past.
So there's more volatility involved with the with the Philadelphia Eagles. But all you gotta do is make it. You gotta make it into the postseason, and then you give yourself a shot. And I think the Dallas Cowboys would have a pretty good shot at that point. I'm gonna throw a few MLB futures your way that I really like that. I've been looking at here the National League East, and I actually talked about this with a few people downstairs in the pit. I talked about this two months ago.
You could have got the Washington Nationals to win the division at plus seventeen hundred. Right now they are plus seven hundred. They are hot. They were at some point at that point they were I think they were twelve games out of the division. People don't realize how long the baseball season is. They see, you know, in the month of May or June, a team that's ten games out, twelve games out, and they say, oh, it's over there. You go, oh yeah, it's let's already crown the Atlanta
Braves the National League East champions. I like the nashal I like the Atlanta Braves and they had key where it had a twelve game lead in the division. Now, over the course of two months, a month and a half, the Washington Nationals have cut that lead in half to six games. What's stopping them from Right now, it's July eighteenth, we have another month and a half of football baseball to play. What's stopping them from cutting that again? Cutting
that six games? I mean it sucks because I loved it at plus seventeen hundred, and I would have threw it in then. I still like it now. It's just one of those things where it's like, Okay, I should have done it when the odds were highest because I had trust in this team. I had the Washington Nationals making it to the World Series against the Houston Astros before the season. I mean, this is a team with
Max Scherzer, Stephen Strassburg, and Patrick Corban. I mean, you are going to be hard pressed to find a better one to three in baseball at the top of your rotation. I love to watch the Nationals right now throwing a few down on them at plus seven hundred to win this division, even you know, being six six and a half games out. Yeah, I mean you said it, Frank, plus seven hundred with the Nationals. And you want to
know something crazy, you probably already know this. Next four games the Nationals plays against the Braves, I mean, that's gonna be a huge swing. You want to jump in on that now. If they four, if they sweep the Praise four games, this is down to like plus two difference plus three hundred, that's what you're looking at. So
that's a great call there. I mean, they're I mean, they're probably not going to sweep them for you never know, but if they were to hypothetically sweep them four games, this number goes from plus seven hundred to probably plus three hundred most realistically. And Max Scherzer is expected to return over the weekend for one of these starts. You know, last night was a bad loss for the Nationals. You can't lose two teams like the Baltimore Orioles. You have
to capitalize on those games. I realized that. But you know, the same thing could be said about the other team that I'm gonna bring up right now, the Cleveland Indians. You could have got the Cleveland Indians at like plus eight hundreds to the win the division a month ago because they were ten games out. Don't look now there are four games out. There are four games out. The Twins had a ten game lead. Who is trusting the Minnesota Twins pitching staff right now? I mean Jacodoreesi got hurt,
he was pitching awesome. He started to regress. I don't trust his Twins pitching staff. Now. Maybe they go out there and they trade for a start. They still have Jose Burrios, He's been a little bit more inconsistent over the past month or so. Maybe they go out you heard them link to like a Marcus Stroman Madison bum Garner. That helps. I just don't know much like the Washington Nationals, the Cleveland Indians, if Corey Kluber can get healthy, they
have Cluber, they have Clevinger, they have Shane Bieber. That might be second to the Washington Nationals in all of baseball in terms of a one to three punts. I mean, it's a very good one to three When you have those pictures at the top of your rotation. As Kevin Garnett would say, anything is better. I mean, I like those two. If I'm just looking at division winners, I would have done it like a month ago, just because of the odds that you were getting. Baseball is a
very very long season. The Indians in the Washington Nationals. That's what I'm looking at. Their respect. I mean, I like it. You got the Indians to plus three fifty right now, unfortunately, but those are still really good odds. And you're looking at the schedule too. They got a game tonight against the Tigers. Then they got a series against the Royals, the Blue Jays and the Royals. Again, all winnable series, very much winnable series. So if the the Indians hit a hot streak, they can close in
on this Dinny. They're on a hot street if they can keep riding the hot streets. Look now, Jose Ramirez, Yes, that Jose Aremira is the one that burned everybody in Fantasy Baseball. I'm looking at you. Constant team, longtime friend, listener of the program. He's drafted, Josie Ramire is everywhere got burned by him. He's turning it around over the past month. The guys batting over three hundred finally coming around for Jose Ramirez. So I out throw those too
out there as well. We're talking about futures. The Cleveland Indians, the Washington Nationals. Alex, we're gonna throw you on the spot. They're completely switching gears here. Don't be too nervous. You'll be all right here freaking out. If you had to bet on one player to win the NBA m v P for next season, who would you bet on? Not looking at odds, not looking at odds before you look at the odds. I'm not gonna loo at the odds.
I had to pick one player to win m v P, I have to go with a back to back title, back to back. You're going with the chalk, going with the chalk, honest, the Greek free to Greek freak. Okay, So if I were asking you who was the favorite, you would have got that correctly. He's plus two seventy right now. So yeah, I mean, look he's the favorite. I mean you're not getting great odds. James heard of number two at plus five fifties. The reason I bring
this up is because there was an update yesterday. I got an update from Bleacher Report that said, here are the latest m v P. It's from from Caesar's Palace. So I'm looking over at the Fandal Sports book and I thought, you know, all right, NBA MVP futures kind of in the news based on that update from Caesar's Palace. So I look over at the Fandal Sports book, and you know who's jumping off the page to me, Nikkola at Plust. And I'm going to explain my logic for this, Alex,
can you tell me if I'm crazy? We know how great Lebron James is, we know how great Anthony Davis is, we know how great Hawai Leonard is. Those are three of the top six candidates to win the MVP this year. They all have higher odds than Nikolaiokis to win it. While those guys are probably most likely better than Nikola Yokich, the NBA m v P is a regular season award, So I'm looking at those three specifically, and I think that Lebron's gonna get time off this year. I think
Anthony Davis is gonna get time off this year. It wouldn't be It would not not surprise me one bit if we staggered this at some point where if we have back to backs, Lebron plays one game, Anthony Davis sits out the other, and then the next night Anthony Davis plays, Lebron sits out the other. That would not surprise me one bit. And while we're on that topic, Kawhi Leonard played sixty games last year and he he
won the NBA Championship with the Toronto Raptors. Who do you think that the Los Angeles Clippers are going to do something similar to what the Toronto Raptors just did. It worked, it works for them. I think that we see some load management here for all three of these guys, and that's going to affect They're probably all going to finish in the top four seats in the Western Conference. But I don't think that that ultimately they care about
the regular season all that much. I think that the Denver Nuggets finished with the best record in the Western Conference alex and they finished second. No, no, they finished with the second best Western Conference record. I believe they were first. They were first, The Warriors were second. Yeah, they were first. They finished the first. So I think they do that again this year. They bring back everybody. I don't I don't worry about the Denver nugg Gets
resting any of their players. I don't worry about load management there. I think Nikolai Yokich, at his age, just continues to get better puts up monster numbers. This year, the Denver Nuggets finished with the best record in the Western Conference and because of that, Nicola Yokish wins the NBA M v P. What do you think about that? I like where your your heads at. That they're gonna try and you know, give a little bit of a
break to whoever they can. But the thing is, the whole point of the the NBA this year is I feel like everyone's gonna be watching, and everyone's gonna be looking at these duos, and everybody's gonna tune in to see Lebron play and Paul George play and whoever they're playing with. So I don't know how much they're gonna sit the two of them like that. I feel like if they're gonna sit them, they're gonna sit both of
them and give the people what they want. They're gonna play two at a time because the people are paying to see Lebron James and Anthony Davis played their game. They're gonna pay to see Gordon Hayward and who's in Kemba Walker in Boston. So I think that the duos this year, everything's gonna be kind of like a duo format. So to speak. But I like where your head's at. I mean, like you said, the Denver finished first, so Yokich was the driving force of that team. I think
you you got the good odds. You know. I'm just stating with honest because he said he doesn't want to be a called mp P no more so. His head is in the right spot and he knows what he has to work on, obviously in terms of shooting and becoming a better outside shooter. I hear what you're saying. By one counter to that would be, like, it's never
stopped teams from resting players before. They don't say I was first had a duo last year and DeMar de Rosen and and LaMarcus Aldred's like, I mean, it's first still wrest players right, It's it's just like, you know, when have they ever cared about the fan, the working man coming to watch people play before? There's always been eyes on basketball. I think they do a great job in terms of marketing their players and their stars and their product. My one counter to that would just be
it's never stop. Maybe in l A it might be a little different, fleshy. Well, we'll see what happens. We'll see what happens, that is Alex Fasano. I want to thank you Alex for joining me today on the show a k A The Fast a k A Bordy Barn Brooki at plus thirteen hundred to win the m v P. That is one of my bets for the future. Frank Stanfeld for Alex the BFS. We'll be back tomorrow, we hope.
