You're listening to the Fantasy Sports Radio Network. Fantasy best Friends Forever, m to to to to to to to to to to to h oh. This as the Fantasy best Friends Forever here in the Fantasy Sports Radio Network alongside Frankie Stanfeld, I am Greg Susman at the opening day Frankie, Yo, Happy opening day, super super excited to hear Greggy get a bunch of lineup rolling here, sitting lineups for DFS season long. It's here, Greggy. We've done it. We made it. It's gonna be hard to pay attention.

An hour two we survived. Good, some reasons pay attention. There's nothing going on, yeah right, it doesn't start to one o'clock, right o'clock, so we're good. If you can. If I could pay attention somehow and host the basketball show during Maryland's and you don't on the tournament, you could probably survive one day of baseball, no excuses, play like a champion. Rule number seventy six. Are you doing, gregyd you sleep last night? It's some great last night?

Real great? What's it early last night? Are we talking quarter to eleven? It's early? That is earlier. I was. I was in bed before midnight early for you. Yeah. Yeah, so jud wasn't feeling with us, so she went to bed early. I was watching I was watching the thunder game, and like the thunder game ended like because when you go to bed now, so I did. I didn't know what else to do. It's like on night like tonight, like I'm going to a bar to watch March Madness

and baseball. I'm gonna get home, will be Is there any leap? Is no leap basicle on tonight? Right? I think the latest game? So I can't get home and watch baseball like ten or anything. Yeah, Red Socks and Mirrors. That's probably an ESPN sure it is. Yeah, Yeah, it's funny because okay, oh we had a line up um and the line up would that be? So look for what are you trying to find? Arson officially not in the today exactly what I told you it would be, Greggy.

Damn it strong side of a platoon here for Ryan McMahon, who's starting and playing second base, batting seventh for the Rockies against Jose Urine. Yet is that news bad? Forget? I do want to kind of preface the beginning of this for anyone who's listening on demand, Gregg, I feel like we're gonna be talking a lot about swing on nd UP, coming out and stuff. So if you listen to this later on on demand, sorry, don't be alarmed.

We're gonna be talking a lot about lineups today and DFS and speaking of DFS, speaking of that, Drew dick Meyer will join us twelve to go over to DFS stuff today from Major League Baseball. That's exciting. Yes, it is gonna get our guy Drew dink Meyer on the Skype machine talk about some DFS liners. I want to get his thoughts. Onefically this Bryce Harper and whether or not b VP bad averse Picture data matters greg and

specifically when you have a large sample size. So I tweeted this out last night, Rice Harper against Huios Ron in his career is eighteen forty with eight home runs. That's pretty good, so he owns him. But then I had a few people also responding to me saying, oh, you know bad reverse picture data doesn't matter. Where do you have bad? It's a pretty big e samples. That's so we're here to ask you, dick Meyer. That's what I want to ask him about. We have another line up, Greg, Well,

we have a lot. We have a lot, a lot of us and before we get into going over lineups, which we'll do, we'll break them down. I almost tweeted this out. I didn't want to tweet anyone. I didn't

want to start anything. I wasn't I'm not trying to do that right, But Fantasy Twitter I have a lot of issues with because I think they love like Barry harrowitzing themselves right, patting themselves on the back, caring about things that just like don't matter, and all like the first guy that hits home run to day, we're not going to your page for one ship did you do? Now? I'm like, oh my god, what are we doing here? Right? Right?

So no one tweeted that out thankfully. But I saw as soon as like some shmow had I cannot wait for the guy that hits two home runs today and we no one knew about. And it was like Josh, like we all predicted show were showing the home runs. I'm like, come on, we're Garcia is going to be the one. Larry Garcia. I feel like people talk about it every year. Sure Larry Garcia hits two of them runs,

everyone's gonna freak out. Come right. So along those lines, people are tweeting out, oh my god, rydo Herns on the lineup, What am I gonna do? That's just someone someone we know very now he's no Worr, Like what are we? Like? Why are we playing? What's this? What's this guy's name? Just playing over Frank Frank Schwindel. Frank Schwindell. We got Frank Schwindel in the lineup today for Kansas City, batting fifth, playing first base, hundred dozers at third. We'll

go over the lineups later. Because Frank Schwindel is on the line up against the lefty, fancy freaks out, freaks out. It's not just it's not just Frank, I got I guess, not just Florio it's Frank sweeting at stuff. Should shoot shoot? Oh no, what the pens? I didn't tweet that. It wasn't you. It was probably Florio again, probably was Florio. All I said was the line the Shields leading off against the lefty. That was fine. Let's see if if that s not an issue with that freaking I didn't

have an issue with that one. He didn't freak out tweet the Shields leading off today against the left. I'm not freaking out of it. Didn't bother me. That tweet did not bother me, Frank. And you know I'll call you out of it if I think it does. And I have no problem bothering you either. And other tweets Frank. Other tweets that Frank had today pirates Ken Rosendal that said a man that chez broke his hand. So Frank making it clear, because we've gotten requests about like n

L only leads and deeper leaves. Hey, melkre not gonna start. That's a helpful tweet. I think, thank you absolutely now. Now the tweet where it said where Laura Armstrong said, hey, Vladi Vladiviger ares gonn move quickly. He is gonna play games this weekend where Frank sweets quote lads coming dot dot dot. Heful like winter is coming, Greg, it was

it was like the game that wasn't sooper helpful. I thought it was worth tweeting that because he's moving quicker than originally planned, and maybe he is coming dot dot dot. Maybe maybe he's back in the lineup in the major's closer to the timetable we thought originally helpful. And then the last people who got him in the last sweet dint from Frank that I'll call out is Ben Nicholson. Smith tweeted Rowdy tell Us and Hovey Gara making the

opening day roster for the Blue Jays. So Frank thought it was important to tweet out Rowdy Roddy tell Us. His name is Rowdy, Greg. Come on, you can't make this stuff up. You just thought a picture of his face too, okay, will eat your entire family that his big boy. His picture is not great. We should talk

about that great. We should talk about the Kendricks Morales Street and the fallout, the implications Fantasy sure Injie Morales last night, that the Twitter World ablaze, Gay Fantasy Baseball tw World World Ablaze, Andry Morales shipped over to Oakland. It looks like he's gonna fill in at first base while Matt Olsen is dealing with this injury. I have a few shares of Kendrick's morales I have him in the main event, we have him in GST. I don't really love this move for him because I thought he

was gonna play every day with the Blue Jays. He should play every day now with Oakland. But it's a negative park shift. Once matt Olsen is back, you know, is Kendrick's moralese really gonna play? So I don't really love this move for him, but it's really the fallout for everything else again. Rowdy Tellez. A lot of people excited about Big Boy. He's got some power, he's got some late disciplined where you know he'll walk a decent amount. So if you have an O, B, P or points

leagues deeper leagues. He made the roster. I think he's gonna be the every day d H. I'll see what happens once Vladimir Guerrero was called up for the Blue Jays. Also gonna give more opportunities to guys like Tioscar Hernandez and Billy McKinney. So there was a decent amount of

fallout from the oakland A's side of things. People were excited about Chad Pinder greg because they thought he was gonna go to play every day and slide jerks and Profile over to first base and maybe we see Marcanna against lefties, but it was like Profiles still gonna play mostly against um at second base most of the time.

They signed him for a reason, and then Chad Pinder, maybe they get him in the outfield against left handed pitching, but today they're facing a righty and what do you know, Robbie Grossman leading off for the Oaklany's like they said they were going to do. Honestly from Rocobella Deli, I kind of like that before we get into these lineups, like full stop and will do it. Bob Melvin, all right,

Robbie rock Is That's what I meant? Mob Melbourne, I got I got a little confused there, And there's nopody opening day. You can understand that. Um, speaking of opening Day, these teams have to be better. It's very frustrating. You can tweeting out a lot. Floria's tweeted out a lot. I've got a lot of text from my whole league, my friends, and my colleagues. When we know players are on the d L. What would I do checking a

hand him? All Right? You, okay, we know players are going on the d L, and they're going to be on the DL, like Tommy John. We're like torn a c L or something, or shoulder injury. Whatever. They're not like may start the season, may not. Oh Tanny d D Polanco, stuff like that. We gotta get him d L the site, Yahoo, ESPN, CBS, n f PC. But the guys gotta get themselves. I have Kyle Tucker in minor league spots and now they have the M crossed out?

Did I miss something? Did he make the opening day roster? Actually, don't find any news on it either. To my knowledge, Kyle Tucker was not breaking camp with the Houston Ash. That is my knowledge as well. And there's a slash going through the M, which means he's not eligible for the minor league spot, which means that he's on the opening day roster unless I missed something, Greg and I

can't find any news about this. He's probably add Kyle Tucker just in case, But uh yeah, I'm trying to figure out what's going on here with with Kyle Tucker. I guess he. I can't see any announcements Astros official roster, that's what That's what I'm waiting on. But yeah, I couldn't agree more. I just got Gregory Polanco I L eligible in the league. So that's good. They're finally there's trying to move along here. I got to settle these

lineups before one o'clock. Now I should're talking on the mike. You're talking off like there. Sorry, Yeah, well I'll be able to hear you. Gregory Planco was officially on the I L, and that is one that has worked out. So I placed him on the I L. And now I gotta figure out what to do with Kyle Tucker because I don't know if he's in the lineup or not on the roster REP probably not man to line up. Yeah, it's annoying. I don't see why he would make the Houston Astros and not be the line up. Put him

in Triple Labor. He can play every d yah know, I get I get it. Yeah, I'm waiting we go over all these lineups just very very frustrating and all honesty that people that are on the d L not the DM are miners, not in the minors. These webisodes that have to just be better. That's what I like. What time is the Astros game play four? The Rays have already released their laeoup keeping everything a secret, already released the going to play or not? So let's not,

you know, release our lineup. Come on, guys, it's opening day. You've had all all seasons to think about. Can we get your lineup? Please? At be frustrated. I don't want to be frustrated on opening day when I have a good time. I do too. You were Why don't you? Why do you be your jersey man? Why don't you show everyone you do? You want to stand up and give a fashion show? Yes, Ryce Harper, I mean you were er and baseball pizzer and judge and move the

camerap so we can see it. There you go, alright, so showed off. You don't need the headphones that Bryce Harford brand new powder blue Photodelphia Phillies jersey with the red as well looks very nice. Frank walked in and the entire control them. I will say this, the entire pit downstairs, like Alex Cool. Everybody said that, right, yes, it was great. It's it's rare the pit will agree on something unanimously and kind of be in favor of, like being nice to someone. It happened, Mabe you happy

for me? Greg, I don't think. I don't think Kendricks Moralese is gonna be in the line. I said that he wanted. I know he is, like, what, this isn't a surprise, dude, I'm just making sure Tad Pinder is in the line. If you want to go over any of these lineups, you want to start going over the line ups. I was gonna wait till till drew out here, but I guess we could start if you want. Yeah, I think we should start, and then that that will kind of be like a setup going into the Oh good.

Mac Williams was DF an other guy that Greg didn't want perfect all right, the Nets and the Nationals. That's your biggest problem today, Greg, I think you'll be all right. I mean, it's fantasy Twitter, right, It's fantasy Twitter. Mac Williams tweet about it, then I'm not going to. I don't do that. Well. You can't be about it and not be about it. You can't complain about it on the show. I disagree. This is my platform to complain about things. It seems a little hypocrite. How is it hpocritical?

He just made fun of other for freaking out about Ryan O'Hearn. I'm not freaking out about mac will's William Ason. We could never draft the mcclation last draft pick. We could drop him, Greg, it's fine, could drove Alex Wood. That's not up to me. No, probably not. Why it's only opening day. You can't be this reactionary, Greg enough, I mean, have an inch trigger. Figure out what I'm gonna drop somebody today. I guarantee that. All right, the

Mets and the Nationals one oh five. The big story coming out of this game is the lot with Brandon Nimo leading off, followed by Pete Alonso batting second, Robins can know third, Michael conford o fourth, Willie Ramos is batting fifth, Jeff McNeil playing third and matting six, Under Razario seventh, one, Legars eighth to Graham batting nine. What's

the Nats line up, Frank? The Nationals lineup? We have Adam Eaton leading off, Trade Turner betting second, Anthony Rendon, your National League m VP of matting third, Juan Soto clean up, Ryan Zimmerman betting fifth, Yon going sixth, Brian Dojer all the way down at seven, Max sers Or eight, and Victor Roblos at nine. So you get a little dual leadoff action between Victor Roeblas and Adam Eaton. This is kind of what we suspected from Victor Roeboys and

the Nationals. Unfortunately, you know he's gonna bat this loan in the lineup, but they're trying to get that that that dual lead off Victor Robots and Adam Eaton. Honestly, I wish Trade Turner was leading off as well. Spoke about that with Mike the rotal cop the other day. Trade Turner once more apt to steal bases when he's leading off versus when he's batting second. We'll see how long time Adam Eaton could stay healthy, because I think if anything happens to them, we probably see Trade Turner

first and then Victor Robos at two. Understandably so, and we hope I don't want to hope for injuries, but I hope Robots will play his way towards the top of the lineup. Um, of course, the old school, let's turn this line up over thing. Um, it's annoying for Roblays is Fantasy owners that includes us, Frankie, but hopefully it was some steels today and and a couple of times. Yeah, we have a few shares of Victor Roeboays and I

know a lot of people are excited about him. My dad had him as the National League Rookie of the years. A lot of excitement over Victor Robots, and rightfully so. For the other New York team's Yankees, they also go I want to clock to day with Gardener leading off, all by Aaron Judge, Jian Carlos, Stanton, Luke, Voit Yale and do har Gary Sanchez, Greg Bird, Glabor Torres betting eighth, Troy to Lewitsky ninth. Not dissimilar from the line up we expected, Frank When it comes to the Yankees, what's

the Oriels tech going on? You give me the Orioles? Why? Thank you, Greggy. We have Cedric Mullin's leading off, Dwite Smith Junior batting second, Jonathan v Are very surprising batting third. I knew you would be at the top, but really third, free Mancini clean up, real ru ruise five do we record six? Chris Davis sevenths to create eight. Ritchie Martin, I have to be confused with Ricky living long Vida locum um. I'm guessing massa Hero Talk is gonna be

very popular and well. Last Drew dick Meyer about that. On the other side, Fantasy Best Friends Forever is rolling on here. Over the next two hours, we got Drew Dickmeyer lined up. really like three peers? Did quite a coliput to retire on our show for some reason? Weekdays, four pm Eastern, one pm Pacific only on the Fantasy Sports Radio Network. Back with you, Fantasy best Friends Forever, Fantasy Sports radiing a network. It's funny, you know. I listened a lot of times when we're doing work, I was creating them and he run down this morning, and a lot of times I'm listening to music. I was leaving the third

eye line this morning at all. I don't. I don't normally listen to the third eyeline a lot on brand, so I know it's definitely part of the brand. A lot of times though, a lot of times I listened to um music of today, But for whatever reason, there was a third eye blind mood. I wasn't a third eye blind today, and there was today blind. It was weird, Drew, What are you? Are you a big third eyeline guy. I'm not a big third eye blond guy. I'm not a big music guy. Hold on one second, guys, because

I'm having some audio is shoes? All right, We'll hold let's go. Let's get another lineup? Why why we're holding for we just got the clubs lineup. Oh, let's go. I'm going to order. I don't need the comes yet. We're going to what o'clock game and see Cardinals and the Brew Crew. Miles Micholas two o'clock to ten. You're right, only two one o'clock games. They're both New York Studio teams,

Sunior York Teams. All right, Cardinals and Brew Crew Miles Michoelas, Joli Sha seen Matt Carpenter leading off for the Cardinals, followed by Paul GOLDSCHMP Paul the Young batting third. For you the young heads out there, that's for good. Marcello's un about four, they like that. Yadier Molina about the fifth, Dexter Fowler in the starting lineup, batting six, Colton Wong seventh, Harrison Battery, Miles Michelas ninth, which means bad news for you,

Tyler o'meal fans out there. Meal not in the lineup. I have a feeling that if he was facing a lefty here, he probably would be in. Not a big fan of Dexter Fowler. Will see how long that lasts. But on the Brewer's side of things, we have Lorenzo Kine, Christian Yellow, Ryan Brown banning third, Travis Shaw, He's us Agilar, Mike Mustock is, Monty Grandal, or Lando Arcia and Julie's Chasin kind of surprised to see Uhler all the way down at five has agular at Hayes's Aguilar at five.

I don't think it's all that surprised, to be honest with you, like you knew one to you knew one and too. You knew Travis Shall would be up there as well. Maybe the old Vet Bron asked me three, right, Maybe you flip flop Aguilar and Travis Shaw. But it kind of is what it is. A six. Yes, Monty Grandell at seven are bad at third. For most of last season, we knew the Brewer's lineup was awesome. It's good. The only deficiency might be or Lando or Seal. It's

if you can bounce back again. Sure at four top prospect there. I made some lofty comparisons and last offseason saying his minor league profile reminded me a lot of lind Or did not take that set. He did not. It happens quite the other way. You know, he's doing a fantasy Twitter Greg, there was a huge blow up about Fernando Tatisis or did you see any of that. I don't know. I think you told me that we had some Twitter beef. Crazy people were freaking out about

the projection systems for Fernando Tati don't like it. Have you ever watched a baseball game in your life? God? Some of those hate m Um, it's Drew Drew. Are you ready, Sarah. I'm good, You're good. I'm back. You're ready, I'm back. I'm good. How's it going, Drew? You said you're not You're not a music guy. I mean, if you had to choose one genre or artist, what are you going with? What's what's the Drew dankmar go to. I literally have no music downloaded on my phone. I

don't own any music anywhere. I'm literally not a music guy. Alright, So the opposite of Greg, because Greg's always, you know, down in the control room. You got headphones on jamming. Yeah, he's working. You gotta run down today for me. I was working on that all morning and we're gonna FanDuel run down as well. Thank you to be working. I concentrate music on anyway. I want to concentrate and make a DFS lad for today. Drew. I said this on

the show yesterday, and that was last baseball season. I played DFS twice all season, one of them opening day at opening Day, I think we talked to you. I won money, I felt great. Day two, I played a DFS baseball I lost money. That was it. I didn't play anymore the rest of the season. So I want to play today. I want to get off on the right foot. I'm going to play a fifty fifty today.

So I really could use your help on where to start. Sure, So the first part of that, identifying what kind of game you're playing is the very first way to approach any MLB DFS uh slate, because the way you play MLB DFS is so different between tournaments and cash games,

because there's so much failure in MLB. You know, players are failing so often, and we have these range of outcome projections, and so for hitters, literally every hitter in Major League Baseball, including Mike Trout against the worst pitcher in Major League Baseball, has a tenth percentile range of outcome of zero points. It just happens so frequently that players go over four, over three, over five, whatever it is.

So it's a it's a it's a sport that is rooted in failure, and as a result, you need to approach the different types of game types very differently. But in cash games you always start with For me, you I start with your picture selection. In tournaments, I always start with the bats. What bats do I really want to get in terms of a stack in my lineup? But with with cash games of fifty fifties, you start with the pictures. And on this slate, I really think

you start today with Justin Burlander. Um. The matchup with the Tampa Bay Ray is a team that projects for a lot of strikeouts, is very DFS friendly. The park is obviously a very good one for pitchers in general, pitching in the trop and you know, Verlander is arguably the most skilled pitcher on the slate. There's obviously, depending on what slate you're playing, depending on what side you're playing, there's sures are too grown, there's you know, sale if

you're playing all day slates. But Verlanders just as talented as those guys, and he's got arguably the best matchup a right perfectly Justin Verlanders in my lineup. That was the catcher slash first base spot. July. I know, trying to eliminate the catcher here, Greg make make life a little bit easier for for DFS players over on FanDuel. You have a two part question. You're filling on my lineup? What do you go? All right, go ahead, Greg, I'll take it. You know, I'll take this off. I'll you know,

I'll go find something. I don't care. I'm going to win money. Thanks to Drew, you don't have to catch a first base. I'm starting off my mic, but it's great. So at first base, my idea was was Luke voit Is that a good idea? He's he's one of the top i'd say five. I'm looking at our protections now, one of the top five or so values between the two positions. Um, we like going potentially a little bit

cheaper here, but boit is certainly in the mix. I would say is in general on this slate, on you know Vandel's main slate, which concludes all the games except the night game. Um, you have a lot of intrigue in the Yankees and in the Cups. Those are the two offenses that you're most likely going to want to target from a cash game perspective. These are the offenses that have implied totals over five. So I think when you talk about catcher and first base, you've got a

lot of options from both teams. There, you've got on the cheaper side of things, you've got Greg Bird hitting lower in the lineup for the Yankees. You've got Wilson Contreres, who the Cubs lineup just came out. He's hitting fifth, which is a great lineup spot with the platoon edge. In Texas, you've got Luke Voyd hitting cleanup, which is a great lineup spot. Gary Sanchez down to sixth, but still a very skilled hitter. I would think you would

want one of the players from those two games. The only exception I would say is maybe Justin Smoke could kind of sneak into the conversation as well. But you can choose one of the guys from from those two games. Is where I had started catch our first base? Okay, fair enough? Perfect? Do you want? Can you have a question for Drew? Let's go to my second basement? Then alright? Cool? Alright?

At second base? Sure, let's keep it going. Maybe so at second base, I think the slate looks like, you know, there's not a lot of expensive second base options to really choose from. Um Wit Marrifield is the most expensive. He's going to be in a tough position. This year because why he's while he's going to be very good for you know, season long rotisserie baseball leagues because of

his speed. He's gonna be a difficult play in DFS if he's priced up consistently, because the Royals are going to be a team that you're not going to be super excited to play guys from most days. So I think second base is a position to get some salady relief. Um Adam Fraser is a guy that stands out for us lead off on the road in Cincinnati. A great park, a big park upgrade for Pittsburgh. He usually plays in a park that really really takes a hit on you know,

power and offense on the whole. We think he's really affordable. We also think Rockneto Door hitting second for Texas, even though it's left on left. We just love the upside of over door, the power speed combination hitting second in Arlington. We're not too afraid of John Lesser, who showed some deterioration and skills last year. Those guys look like the clear decision for for us at second base. By the way, I just thought, well, no, a little pause, Frankie, what's up? Hello,

what's up? My Man, Wilmar Flores and third in the lineup. It's not a good lineup anymore. I was looking at the dime decks line is awful. It's very Oh my god, it's just call jump back in here. I'm not a big Chris Bryant guy, but I think, you know, if there was ever a lock of the day, I think it's Chris Bryant batting second here against Mike Minor again in Texas. The ball could fly out there. The third base position is anything else you like there, Drew, I

think he's really the top play thirty one. He's definitely the top play. The one thing that I'll note is just in baseball, because guys fail so often, you can always make a case in an argument to get away from anyone play. He is clearly our top value at third base, though, and if I was playing a cash game line up, I would certainly start with him. I'd want exposure if I'm building cash game lineups to you know, my higher the higher end versions of the Cubs and

the Yankees where I can get them. Obviously, if you're building through someone like Justin Verland or it's going to be a little bit more difficult to do so, but he is of the top priced bats on this late um, he's one of the more affordable ones because he's below four thousand, all right, So there, so there you go. That's Chris. It's Chris Bryant four thousand dollars at thirty eight hundred dollars, I will move all over to the shortstop. We don't save some money at some point, how do

we do that. There's a lot of cheap outfielders perfect, so, so outfield is a place you can definitely save some money if you wanted to save money at shortstop. I think Elvis Andrews would probably be the best guy. He's hitting third undred and he is a guy that is willing to run, and that's important when you're trying to capitalize on upside versus John luster It makes a lot of sense, especially against John Lester, because we know he can't hold anyone on correct, so you know you can

get some stolen bases there. Drew's it's is it safe to say? And I feel like you touched on this a little bit. Uh. It's just a lot of Yankees today try and get as many kids rangers in that range and then maybe sprinkling some Blue Jays because they're going up against Jordan Zimmerman. Yeah, for cash games, I

think that's the right approach for tournaments. You know, base again, baseball's a sport where you fail a lot, so you want to you want to consider what kind of ownership teams are going to carry on a day to day basis, and I would expect the Yankees and Cubs two teams that have public fan bases, huge fan bases. On opening day, they have the two best offensive implied totals on the slate, they're going to be very popular. And so in tournaments, I think, you know, you you naturally want to make

sure you're being different when you're approaching them. Now, if you're going to play them, you can still play them, just be different at like starting pitcher, be different at some of the one off players. Maybe don't play Yankees and Cubs together. Maybe stack them with a second team that's different. Um And obviously, on a slate at this big with fourteen games on it, you have plenty of options to choose from, and plenty of other good offenses.

You mentioned the Blue Jays, they're one that we think is in a really good spot TODA against Jordan Zimmerman. We also think the Phillies are in a pretty good spot against Wilio Tehran, and we think they'll go very low owned. Guys like Bryce Harper, Reese Hoskins, Uh, Andrew McCutcheon will probably all come in with very really low ownership as every but he focuses on the Yankees, the Cubs,

guys like Mike trout Um. So I think you always in tournaments want to be different than the field, and there's certainly opportunities to do that, honestly, where it looks like the plays are are so obvious to build for cash games. I'm so happy you brought up Bryce Harper because I'm obviously wearing his jersey. I wanted to get your thoughts all my jersey. What do you think of it? Look? I love I love the I love all powder blue jerseys in general, like I love that color concept. So

I'm in on those old school Phillies jerseys. That's fair, I will take that. I was also looking into getting the powder blue Vladimir Guerrero exposed jerseys, so I might get that Guerrero Senior, that is, I might look into getting that. But I wanted to ask you about Bryce Harper and specifically batter verse picture data, because I tweeted this out last night that in Bryce Harper's career, he's

homeward three out of the last four opening days. I mean, that's not really relevant, that's more of like a narrative thing. But against Juyo tehrant he's eight teen for forty in his career and he has eight home runs normally that badder verse picture data, like you'll see alright, ten twelve that bets where do you have bets? That's a pretty

big sample size. Was I in the right mind thinking that, Okay, Bryce Harper has owned Julio Torranti is in a good spot obviously playing in Philly today because you know, I got some I got a little bit of a backlash

year on Twitter last night. Batter verse picture data. Yeah, So all the maths says, the big wide scale studies that you do on batter verse picture is what it says is that if you look at the sample as a whole, that it's not predictive, meaning the results that have happened in the past are not predictive of what will happen in the future. You will often see guys who are like one for sixteen versus someone and then

have a really good day. Um, you'll see guys who have these great numbers against other pictures and they'll have a really bad day. That doesn't mean it doesn't exist in the sense that it didn't happen, or there might not be an effect where a batter literally does have something on a picture that they see the ball perfectly out of his hands and they just know what's coming. Um, I know Paul Goldschman had some insane numbers against Tim

Linscomb even when Lindscomb was like dominant for yours. So there, it's not to say that it's not real and that it doesn't exist. It's to say that when we do wholesale looks at the population of batter verse picture stuff, there shows no predictive value, and so we don't consider it as predictive. And so there's a lot of arguments on Twitter that the stuff goes into because as a math,

guys get really particular about it. The guys who like played the game really think like, oh, no, I definitely saw you know something from from this guy, and I knew i'd hit him better, and so like you get into these like petty kind of arguments. But what I would say with regards to Bryce Harper is without knowing anything about his individual history against Julio Tehran, I know that Julio Tehran really struggles to get left handed batters out,

especially left handed batters with big power. And I know Bryce Harper kills right handed pitching, so like it makes sense that he'd have really good numbers against Julio Tayran. Perhaps they're outsized and it's something that he sees differently. We wouldn't say that it has predicted value to it um, but it's certainly something that has happened, and it could be something that plays a factor. We just wouldn't know.

The samples are so small, even if it feels like it's big because it's relative to other like ten at bad samples, it's really it's still really small on the scale of MLB samples in general. I appreciate that from Drew because he kind of started off that answer saying, well, you know, Frank, you're pretty by much wrong about bad a verse pitch of data. But then he brought it back and he's like, well, Bryce Harper is a really good play today because he's going up against Leo Toron,

So I appreciate that, Drew. So we're talking to Ji jig Meyer Daily Rider dot com, actually on Daily Rod dot com right now. I think he used promo code fmc s Y. You get tempercent off um on the MLB Premium package, and I'm in it right now. And some of these names there are chief outfielders on here, right Gardner, Delano to Shields come to mind, Greggy, say it again, Say it again, Brett Gardner, Delano, just shields come to mind, Shields. Let's go. De Leonard The Shields

is my my daily fantasy nemesis. That guy stinks, so we will do he will. I am convinced that he believes that whenever there's a guy on first, it's an automatic bun spot farm because it's a free chance at batting average. Like, I'm convinced that he does this, and he just gives away at bats for no reason whatsoever, because he's like, oh, if I get out, they'll just rule it a sacrifice. I loathe that guy in DFS. He weighs so many plate appearances with what I think

is stat padding or stat hunting for himself. Um, So I am he projects well because he's a leadoff hitter in Texas, and he's got the platoon edge and he runs and Lester's not hard to run on. He's really cheap, but he is not my cup of tea. Brett Gardner, I'm good with Randall Gritchick is another cheap guy. Tiascar Hernandez the cheaper end of the Blue Jays guys. I think those guys are good. I would play those guys

over Delonoo Shields personally real quick. Through Delino the Shields versus Albert al Almira Jr. They're both going up against each other's tapic, both leading off with their respective teams, both or less. I know you don't like the Lino, but do you like him more than Albert alma I do like him a little bit more than Albert Almoira. The big difference is, you know, historically there's more pinch hit risk for Albert Elmira, but uh, and so that's

factored into our math. But on Antlee, I feel like there's not much in an a l park for Albert Almorra. Like they're like a pinch head zagooness with Schwarber at some point in the game, and I don't see another threat really to Almore's playing time. So we have a slight dock on al Moore because of historically being pinched hit for often. But I really don't think that's a concern today, So I would play on more of your digby Daily Roader dot com. Check it out right now.

It's the Daily Road to MLB Premium package. It's available right now at Daily rod dot com. Use the promo code f n T s Y you'll get temper sent off Drew. This has been a blast. Thank you for coming on. We'll talk to you soon. Let's win some money. Awesome. Thanks guys, best to luck on opening day. So it's bad when you you look at your lineup and you're like in Vanuel, you look at your line up like this doesn't seem

very good. Then, and then I'm looking at my my home league team, and I'm looking at the pitching staff like speaking of which I still set my line up. I'm like this this, this doesn't look very good either, Like this, this is bad your Kyle Tucker news yet I haven't haven't seen any Kyle Tucker news now. Like I'm looking at my pitching today in my home league, right this, this is not good today. My ace Blake Snell against Houston. All right, whatever Greg, it might be

without Koreo, that's fine. We got big John Leicester today. He's been dropping. No, man, I see those pickups as we'll start against Texas, right, No, you might as well not we are, all right? Not we we start, We're starting. We're starting John. You would not start on any team of mine. He's starting on my squad today, Johnny Lester, I'll you drop him tonight. Then Jamie tye On in Cincinnati gets the start today. Not great, but I'm starting him in a few places too. That's let up. That's

those are the starters for them. Big game out of Jamie. I don't feel good about it, man, I don't feel good about it at all? Why is that just? I just don't know, excited, excited for his baseball. I don't hear my idea line up by starting picture thanks to Drew dig Meyer Daily River dot Com. Justinverle Ender already different. You don't listen to or any probably don't start, so

I did. I'm paying down a little bit, Greg. I'm going with massa hero tanaka at We say a lot of money doing that going up against you know, Johnny VR third. You see a lot of money doing that at first base. No, bye bye Birdie, Let's fly baby. You're supposed to use batters who bat higher in the order though that seventh we love it, let's go. We don't love it. I love the other Yankestere first base and more I have Luke Void is my first base. That's what happens when you use Verla anniverse to Nakas

absolutely at second base, starting for the Pittsburgh Pirates. Let's go, Adam Frazer all batting third? Where did you and Franks? Chris Bryant is not bad third. He's playing third and betting second. I was looking at my short stop. You're right, that's okay, Chris Bryant playing short betting third Elvis Audrew's right, the talkiest lineup in opening day history. That's not true. Some of us are birds. Everyone's gonna have the same

one birds man in the outfield. We're just going all speed with Brett Gardner with tolto to shields and Albert al Mora. My third outfielder is the man on the jersey. Greg b vps Julio Tehran narratives home runs in three of the last four opening days. That will be Bryce. I wish I can get in there and the cash right won't use j V at the utility spot. When he got at the utility spot. I have the person

who's leading off or Bryce Harper. That will be Andrew McCutcheon adding first leading off for the Phillies n He's thirty one hundred dollars total. A pretty fair price at the utility spot for me. Frace Harpers, let's go shut that up, baby, set it up. I didn't have the money, Bam I do. Yeah. Look this is where all the chalk is gonna be. As many Yankees as you can get, Rangers Cubs um Adam Fraser because he's super cheap in the second base position isn't very good. I like the

Phillies lineup. I know Hulia Toront had a good spring, but I like I like the Phillies lineup today. All right, you go with some real lineups. Now, let's do it. Alright, we're up to where we're up here to the Phillies rage perfect. So the Phillies you can go. You can tell I ask about a cutting leading off in France. Harper batting third, once us the rest of the Phillies line up. The rest of the Phillies lineup after mccutton.

It is Jean Segura batting second, Bryce Harvor batting third, Reese Hoskins batting clean up, Jate tv Real Mouto batting fifth, or Dooble Herrera sixth season. Her end is seventh, healthy and in the line up Michael Franco batting eighth, Aaron Old the picture adding ninth. I have a few shares of MIKEL. Franco, not love him batting eight. See what happens if he performs well. I have a feeling he would move up. But let's see what happens batting first

for the Atlanta Braves. Enter In Crt batting second, Josh Donaldson, third, Freddie Freeman. As we expected, Ronald Acuna is cleaning up for the Braves today. Nick Mark Cake is batting fifth, Assie I'll be sixth, Brian McKinnon, seventh, Dansby Swanson who got actually had our right night spring batting eight, Julio Tehran batting ninth. I have a line up question for you. Line up question because Kyle Tucker is not Minor League

eligible right now, I don't know. I have to drop to one of my teams, all right, So between Wade Miley, Martin Perez, Jeff some, Marja, Anna Ball Sanchez and Brandon Woodruff, I have to drop one of those when I could drop Kyle Tucker, but I don't want to do that, all right, it's not an option. Then one of those pictures.

I'm going Marja, one of those three is correct. Yah, Well, you're not a Jeff swe I'm going to drop Marty Perez that's starting in the middle of April for this winds, So you're not You're gonna You're gonna wait around for Martin Paris. What I mean? You look good in the spring increased velocity outside this last start where we allowed four runs in five minutes. That again set Yankees though, yeah against Yankees. Who knows the line up? The ages?

But now drop Marty Paris, You're right, thank you. Now I have a few of the lineups to set, all right? What are the line ups to do? We get in baseball? All right? Should I continue? On the Detroit Tigers taken on the Toronto Blue Jays three thirty seven p m. Certain time, and on our Tiger's lineup is as follows. Josh Harrison leads off, followed by Nick Castiano's batting third, Migey Cabrera, Uh Chamber, Candelaureo that Clina at a second most oh last year, Nico Goodrum who has all that

position eligibility. The agings today, Christen Stewart batting six side, Robert Pattinson batting seventh, Griston Grinder batting ninth. That will be Jodie Mercer, followed by Mikey Maddock dotting ninth. I feel like Grayson Grinder is going to become a Greg favorite. She really liked to say his name exactly, Grayson by Grayson Grinner on my team would be called the Gruden Grinders.

That's pretty good, pretty good for the Blue Jays. We have Brandon Drewy who I think, you know, everyone's sneaky. Everyone's trying to figure out, Oh, how do I replace Vladim mcgurero until he gets called up. Why don't you just pick up the person who's filling in for play? Yeah, I mean the guy's gotten shortened the stick everywhere brend

in jury. I think a sneaky play here leading off for the Blue Jays, going up against Jordansimmerman, Randall Grittrick batting second, Fiascar Hernanda is betting third, justin Smoke clean up, Lordas Grio, Kevin Polar sixth, Rowdy, Roddy Tells betting seventh, Danny Janson eighth, and Freddy Galvie's betting ninth. Allreadys batting ninth. Right there, Blue Jays, all right, Moving on to with the Chicago Clubs Texas Rangers four oh five. Start out

in Texas. I'll go with John Lester's team. That's the Cubs. Albert Alma batting lead, all playing center field, Chris Bryant batting second, playing third, Anthony Rizzo batting third, playing first base, Habby Bayez is cleaning up batting short. Wilson Contrares is batting fifth at the catcher. Uh, David Boat adding six and playing second, which means, body, excuse me, means Ben's overs is your d H today. Jason Heyward batting eighth, playing right, and Mark sagoonis atting ninth in left field.

It means there's no Kyle Schober obviously in the lineup against the lefty today. Who else are be missing in this lineup? Frank is particularly the extra left That's what it is. That's what it is. Yeah, there's no Kyles forber. I think that was the biggest takeaway here, not playing it's the lefty here on opening day. And but but Mark szagoonis the other roster instead of Ian hat thing. Definitely a thing. Yeah, David body in the lineup here

as well for the I Go clubs. On the other side, my man, the line up the Shields leading off sneaky play against John Lesser who cannot hold batters on. Get some stolen bases here out of the line of the Shields.

Ruten and Odor batting second. It was actually a little bit surprised that daily rodo is on high as it's as high on him as they are considering it's lefty on lefty Elvis Andrews, who we both have in our lineup, betting third, Joey Gallo, clean up, Hunter Pence back to the future, last one pass, whatever you want to go with their Hunter Pen's batting fifth, No More Mazzara six at Drubbarra seventh, Ronald Guzman eight, Jeff Mathis ninth against John Western, the my other short stop, by the way,

officially not starting today and my teams, I told you to pick up Elvis Andrews, so I probably should pick him up right now. So I will. But here's my here's why I haven't picked him up yet in all seriousness, So I wouldn't. I would just drop Chris Taylor for him in my league and just do it. The problem is Dodgers play tomorrow and the Rangers don't, so there's a chance that Chris Taylor could wind up playing tomorrow. Maybe. So I get it. I want to pick up Elvis Andrews.

I just want to wait for O Tany to go on the d L to do it. Isn't on the d L yet. It's incredibly annoying. Tany is on the on the ASO He's just been moved just this moved really in CBS. I was able to get him. Oh it's so big, Frank, thank you very much for that. That just half started off the program bashing these websites. But they're slowly coming around here, Greggy, that's just happened. Huh, good job, Frankie. I just put him on the aisle.

All right, welcome to the squad, Elvis Andrew's good job Frank him in there, Greggy. Yeah, because it doesn't take afect us tomorrow. I hate that about Yahoo, man, but I think you can change it. You should be able to add a player and play him that day. No, we don't like to do that. I don't want to do it, all right, frand Will Raising Yeah, he's been clean up. I think about a fifth around there. We

do have the Padre's line bad and clean up. I thought spots to being right behind Manny Machado and ahead of Eric Cosmer. You don't have the Giants line up yet, but for the Padres, Ian Kinsler, Will Myers, Manny Machado, third friend Malreus, Eric Hosmer, Fernando Tatis Jr. Batting six in this lineup, Manuel Marco seventh, Austin Hedges eight and Eric Loward nine. I think Eric Lowerd a sneaky. You did that that I was having the Giants line up. Yeah,

well just because I thought it was worth mentioning. Talking about the Padres lineup, I'm excited about them. I have friend Malreus in our in house league here. I I wanted to make sure he was in the lineup because I plan on having him in cho whenever one of them wasn't in the lineup, getting the other one in the lineup. So I'm happy that Reis is in here against the lefty Madison Bungard. You know what takeaway here? No harm to Renfro even against the lefty. This is

this is what we worry about with the Padres. They have too many outfielders. Renfro has a lot of upside, but here, even against the lefty not in the lineup.

The let We'll give you another line up here because Franks's doing I mentioned you mentioned Warmer Flora's batting third like Adam Jones leading off, follow by Edwardo followed by Edwardo Escobar betting in Flora's his third David perraulta who expected to lead off, but facing the leftist he's betting fourth today, Christian Walker batting fifth, as you said earlier, Kettle Martin a batting six, which is annoying. Nicko madd betting seventh. And it's John Ryan Murphy me being the

starting catcher today. All right, let's trade Paul Goldsman away to get Luke Weaver and Carson Kelly and not even play Carson Kelly. Yeah, maybe Zachargy like fl Please do I have so many shows of Carson Kelly. It was great. It was a good job by you. Uh Zach actually called it. You said, hey, what about John Ryan Murphy last week? Maybe zach Argy likes throwing the JR. Murphy. Maybe it is. I know that's why Beef Casteel is not in the lineup, because I believe it is. Are

you hanging on it? Sucks? We got Carlos Rodan starting, and it's James McCann as a sign catcher that's gonna be his personal catcher, and he's McCanns gonna be his personal kick. So don't freak out about Beef Castido. By the way, just Alex Pablo uh Pablovich on Twitter. The Giants had an opening day left fielder that's been different thirteen consecutive years, and then they just dfade Mac Williamson.

It's messed up because he got hurt. Really like the guy who set to make the team and be a starter, and you d f m because he gets hurt. Right, Obviously he wasn't guaranteed to make the team, right, I guess you're right. Yeah, yeah, I could drop him now. Yes, you can definitely drop Mac Williams. Shares of Mac Williams because when he came up last year he performed well. So I had a little bit of interest, not a lot,

just in some deeper leagues. I'm looking at my NFBTC lineups now, Greg, to make sure I have Carson Kelly in here. Might have to pick up another backup catcher. Have to line up the Shields in the lineup. The Shields makes the line up. All right, that's cool, Utility. How about this, Greg, I'll throw a little question your way. Brandon Lowe is hitting clean up today for the Tampa

Bay Rays. They're clearly very excited about Brandon Love. They are given the extension with my last round pick in the Great Fantasy Baseball Invitational, Would you use him over Joey Win Wendell as your middle infielder. I would NFBC, you'd use Brandon Low cleanup betting sex yep. The rest of the raised lot of the rest of the raised

lot of is as follows. Austin Meadows leads off. Tommy fam matting second, playing left field, g Man show your third place hit her for the race today batting fourth, Brandon Low batting fiveth is Heandi Dias betting six, Joey Wendel seventh, Willie Thomas eighth, Kevin Kierma. You don't like to see batting eight. That's annoying here Kermer owner uh and Mike's anino batting nine that you also don't like. If here's a Nino guy. Yeah, Gregg Bird got cheered

today or booed. He just came out. I don't think there's gonna be much of a reaction to clabor tourism. Sure got a big ovation. He just came out as well. Because you're going through the line up big smiless for Glavery. It's first opening day. Is Yankee betting? Yes, how much hired? Can you put him? Too long? Got a lot of cheers. I love too Low as you had a too low Jersey Man, I love that guy. Always have first. You get too little Rockies. Jersey realistically believe is legitimately batting

third for the race. I'm excited. Can you send the excitement in our voices, dude, I'm ready like line up being announced right now for the Yankee game. The Mets and Nationals are getting ready to to get warmed up here as well to got to Grom going up against Er. You know it's a big day with the mess broadcast is wearing suits. Alonso your first game, well, you gotta do his face. Max s adding seconds like fun. He said he's ready for the challenge. So he's ready for

the challenge. I think it's looking more like a sombrero day for Peter Rance. Let me do the A's lineup right now, Roddy Grossman, as you said, Frank leads off, followed by Matt Chapman second, Steve Piscatti batting third, Chris Davis banning fourth, You're some pro fars batting fifth, Chad Pinder that six, Marcus Simeon betting seventh, Loriano batting eighth. I don't rio and Josh Fegley and Josh Fegley is banting nine I will say that I've cooled it a little bit on the romo. Oh have you now? M

Flora's betting third? So they go, what a call by Greggy? What do you think about this nickname for Chad Pinder? I was doing the podcast with Bubba the other day, wipe right. I like it. I like it. You create that. I did not know. That's all bench with Bubba. Well, I spoke about he lives on the West Coast, He's a big Kients fan. Spoke about the possibilities of getting him in on the show, so, well, we'll have to

figure it out. He's also a big Metallican fan. Is that why you're getting a lot of You know, there's a lot of cross over there between like the San Francisco Giants and Metallica. They do, they play a lot of they do like random concerts after like Giant skiings and stuff, So there's a lot of cross over there. It makes a lot of sense. I was happy to hear that. We spoke a little bit before we went on air about how much I don't like Dave Matthews

band and how much you do like. Then we spoke, no, he doesn't, and we spoke about our love for Metallica, So that was cool. Don't look at a laugh, man, Craig's just diving in. Have you seen anything on the cattle Tucker news of the Houston lineup? The Houston lineup? I give that to get the right age lineup at the Houston lineup? Oh who is it? Actually? Story leading off? Benny Up playing right field. It's George Springer, Georgie batting second.

It's Jose Alt Today batting third, Alex Bregman cleaning up, Michael Brantley in left field, Betty fifth is Juligue, Garyell, Tyler White's a d H batting six like that too, You like seeing them in the lineup betting sevens Robinson Chernos batting eighth. There is no Carlos Cray in the lineup. Let him. Miss Diaz is batting eighth and Jake mariz Nick playing center field today blatting Knight up. Weird lineup? Who's not in the lineup Kyle Tucker? Why is he

got eligible? From my minor weak spot? The CBS only one lefty in the lineup today for the Ashtres. That's Michael Brantley banning clean up. They go alrighty heavy other than that plane placing off against Bleak Snell the left, Ty Ventcher joins us. Next. More lineups Baseball, it's live that Next
