Two days away from the real opening day the Pan series that was pumped pumped for some baseball, Gregy. We'll say this, nobody loves day baseball

more than your boy. Right here, you got a bunch of day base baseball Thursday, obviously, no day baseball Friday, the second day of the season. Do you know what's funny? We had We did this last year too, you know that, right? I remember we were all excited for baseball, and the second day of the season there was nothing. There was nothing but rain out. So there was a rain on opening day. They rescheduled for the afternoon the next day, so we had a couple of those, but there was

nothing else Friday. And and that's why, because they want to leave it open for rainouts and to redo it the next day. That's why maybe we should start looking at the weather for all these outdoor games on Thursday and see if we can get any rain owns which would create day games on Friday. I'm not gonna do that. I remember excited for Thursday and and and it's like half the league is off on Friday because again, if there's any potential rainowns on Thursday, they need that day

free to do their opening day. But I love day baseball, and you know, we get it one day Thursday for fun little teaser there, and then nothing Friday. Yeah, already. I texted hometown Heller last night and I was like, Hey, what do you do on Friday? Friday night? He's like, I don't know, why did you have something in mind? You want to drink beer and watch baseball. The Yankees and Mets both are not playing. You want to just watch random baseball? And he's like, I'm intrigued. I'll let

you know. So that's kind of where my my week's headed. I'm spit bawling going to the Yankee game on Saturday. Great, it's gonna be sixty degrees Saturday. Saturday Saturday one pm game James Paxton's debut against the O Riles. Do we have connections to this um? We might be able to get connect But I saw tickets for a sheep Really yeah, game Saturday. I'm thinking about it. So it's interesting. I have plans on Saturday night for my sister's birthday. That

seems unaffecting. Nothing during the day, Greggy seems unaffected. I don't ask if I'm not not interested thinking about I'm not not interested. What's the weather it's gonna be like on Saturday? Better than that? I went to a few April games last year and I told myself never not going again unless it's very good forecast. Because I was freezing. It's very bad. I wonder what ever hear? What time dinner is? We'll look that up. I just sleep last night, Greg,

how's everything it look good? When you have my dream from last night. Is it work related? Is the use of Nurki's leg related? Uh? My dream was that because I went to me different haircutter, this time as my sister and my dad, and they told me that my hair looked terrible. That was my dream. think it makes a lot of sense. Always. I always tell my fiance as well, right, like, would you rather me point something else, like you got a booger on your nose? Or would you rather a random trainer be like, oh you look well your nose? I'll tell you well. I feel the same way you asked me to always be honest. So if you asked me, hey, how do I look in this? I'm gonna be honest. Do you have food on your mouth? And you're like you missed?

I want to be honest. That reminds me of I think it was a guy Co commercial with Abraham Lincoln. How do I look at this? That was great? It's all the show today. You talk because you know what you're Mike is dirty here talk I know you here. I'm just leaning out because I always hear myself letting

Yeah, okay, so the people today on the show, Frank wanted to give a list of the pictures that are in the starting rotations and who are starting this week because Ken Yahoo for me, like my week doesn't end to like April three, wherever that Sunday is. So it's a husually long week, a tenday week. But a lot of other lease are your gst for instance, a lot of rotal leagues. Are you just set your line

up for Sunday to Sunday, Sunday to Sunday. So it could be not a good opportunity to only start pictures that are starting, and spring pointed out in our g st V, we don't have enough of those imagined. A lot of people might be in the same boat, but we'll see it. Maybe they were more prepared than we were. I wouldn't say that we're not prepared. It's just odd that baseball starts on a Thursday. So back to starting Monday,

so it was one Sunday night game. Hold on, So look at this g S t V. What's the problem with it. Maybe we don't have enough pictures. Not all of our pictures who are in our lineup are going to start for the weekend. Oh so that's okay. Oh I thought I'm nearly as big of a deal as I thought you meant. All right, I don't know who you thought. I'm saying, that's what that's what I thought. Jose Cantana is not going to start over the weekend, right,

You'm not gonna start until like Monday or Tuesday. Same thing with zach Eflyn, and then I'll probably May we get a lot of two starts, and we got to the off days and stuff. You know, it'll even I just I feel weird putting players in our lineup are not going to pay. That's okay, that's not a concern. All right, let me see, actually feel a lot better.

So we're gonna go over some of these pictures that are starting this weekend, specifically Thursday through Sunday, since this weekend, and well, you know who's in the rotation, who's out. What you do with those players, if you do anything, guys that didn't make the rotation out of spring training, If if you're interested, if you keep them, We're gonna do that an hour one hour to today. We're gonna go over some um, we'renna go over some win loss

records over on. There's gonna keep tracking whenever wins. We'll get something at the end of the year. We can actually keep track. And we did this last year and you didn't keep track. Well, hold on, look, let me look it up. Seems like Keim Trek last year. This will be the first Ti'm hearing about it. There's a lot of news yesterday too, so why don't you start up? Alright,

So Chris Paddock really cool moment last night. Not sure if anyone watched it, but it was all over Twitter where he pitches, you know, two and a third two and two thirds innings, and uh Andy Green and the rest of the infield for the San Diego Padres come into joint Chris Paddock and he assumes that he's just getting taken out of the game, and you see a lot of them just like smiling and shaking hands and stuff. Really cool moment. Basically at that time he was told

that he did make the rotation out of camp. So for anyone who drafted Chris Paddock, you feel great about this. Look see it was really cool. I would definitely recommend looking it up on Twitter. Cool moment, like he just assumed he's getting taken out of the game and they all start smiling and shaking hands and stuff. So basically told on the mound that he's going to start and made the rotation at the Camp's gonna start Sunday, which

is one of the best spots to be in. I think the two offenses you want to stream most against this year, San Francisco Giants and the Miami Marlins, and he gets his first start against the Giants. So I'm expecting a big performance from Chris Paddock right here over the weekend. That was some news things that we got yesterday. And you know what, Greg I didn't realize as well. Regarding the Padres, they're clearly going to be very aggressive

this season. They haven't made the decision on for Nanototis still has not. They haven't made a decision on him. He could still be on the opening day roster. They basically announced that we're gonna wait until the very last moment to decide this MH. I would be very surprised if he does make the opening day roster, But there's still a chance. Interesting, it's a little chance for for nanototis. Do you find anything I did? I found the video Chris Padic, Oh, I thought you were looking up last

year's wind total predictions. How do we know? This is when he was told is you smiling? Well that's what all of Twitter was speculating. And it looks like, why wouldn't they do it right then and there? Pretty cool? But hey you did, you did great? Um, all right, well here's the end of spring training. Why would you get that excited about that? Probably like, hey man, all right,

well we gotta take you out here. Um. They probably set it up like they were going to send him down and they still I don't know, man, it's starting Sunday, Welcome to the Major. I'm sure. I'm sure that's what happened, But I have a feeling it was probably more so like hey, congratulations, like pitch grade, you are in this and we'll see on Sunday. And I'm like that. I don't think he's like a totally shocked a great pack no, no, but I mean he's clearly very excited everyone else that's

surrounding him. It's not like do they normally have the entire team come around, like when you take a picture out in a spring training game. I don't think so there's clearly like some kind of news or something. They wanted to support him, all right, I don't you know, I don't know that, all right? Sure, why not? I think that was the first time he was told that he's going to be in the rotations, like I'll buy this, like I buy that. It's like that was the first

official time he was told, right, I'll buy that. Yeah, and he still never knew. But I don't wait that every in his play. But I don't think it's like official. It wasn't like he obviously knew what we all and like we all drafted Chris prag know he'soul be in the rotation. So I'm sure that he was kind of like let on that nobody knew. Greg, nobody knew. Yeah, we all wanted him to be and he clearly earned

an opportunity. But there have been other players who have earned an opportunity that didn't break camp with a team. Greg Baying, I understand that, but I think but I don't think Chris Pattick. I don't think Chris Pattick was like led to believe that he wasn't like, I'm sure that I you pitched while you can get this rotation spot. You think he's shocked by this. Of course you're gonna be excited if you're told right. Sure, I I don't think it's like the total surprise and all of that

that you're making it out to be. No, I'm not saying it's a surprise. I'm saying it's a cool moment. Sure. I never said the words of Frise greg I mean it's it's fine. It's nice, nice moment smiled. That's all I said, honestly, not as like knocked up about this, Not as nice as a moment of being honest with you as American. I don't last night when I did you even post to his girlfriend? That was cool, Definitely not cooler than Chris Pattick being told he's in the

proposing to his girlfriend on American Idol was awesome. You don't care about any stranger on American eyes. That's up very nice. He Chris packs a stranger. You don't know him either. He's on my fancy team. He's a bunch of irrelevance in my life than someone on American Ideas. That's very nice. This is a really nice moment. She was crying, he was He was crying. She was crying. Katy Perry was crying. That was a nice moment, nice moment. I had it on in the background, and like I

had to, I turned around. I had it on. We were cooking dinner. I just turned around, like, wow, this is this is really special. I'm more excited for Jacob deGrom getting paid. Sure, you're more excited than Jacob deGrom getting paid than poor guy getting proposing to his girlfriends could afford a ring. And I don't know how much the ring cost Jacob. Jacob de Ground wasn't poor today, wasn't born yesterday. You know what I mean, He was a little bit more poor. I wouldn't say poor pours

the wrong word in comparison to what he's getting paid. Now. Sure, good with Jacob the Ground, that's awesome. So he signs a big extension with the Mets till he gets hurt. That'll suck. Other than that, I did watch the Spring Baking Championship and I what my player was eliminated immediately, So also a good start spring baking this year. That more relevant than Chris Paddock as well, Yes, because it directly affects me. Okay, it's me. Chris Paddock also directly affects you and your fantasy. Not disagreeing, but like this is more immediate, Like I have somebody eliminated already. I can't. I can't win. Chris Paddick could affect you as immediately as Sunday. That's Sunday.

Yesterday was yesterday, Yesterday was Monday. Yesterday was Monday. You realized I lost, Like we drafted our bakers last week and my baker was eliminated immediately. Well, it's just a reminder that you shouldn't play Baking Championship. Yeah, very bad on it. Have it one in many, many years. Hopefully you're a little better in baseball. You need to carry that momentum. Tell you what I am better? If I am better in basketball, yeah, we need to carry that

momentum over to baseball. That's what I told ron as we were going to do. Of course, he responded with I'm down. Why Why do you say that after before he paid us crushed it? Uh? I think that was before he paid, That was before Greig. Nick Senzel left a minor league game last night with an anglic injury and find us very ironic because he's always hurt. You never stay healthy. He was angry about not breaking hold on. Is that? Is that true that he's always right? The

last year he was hurt. Is he one of those that's always hurt the last year he got hurt. I'm pretty sure he really I appreciate that, but yeah, Nick Senzel got hurt last night. He's going to be in a walking and was he? And was he was? He's gonna be in a walking boot for seven or four days? Was he? Was? He really pissing to make the teams that see that either he did enough to make camp, and especially after the scooter injury, I'm sure the Reds

talked about feeling the best team clearly being seen. He played out. Let's see here, he played a hundred and nineteen games. That's pretty much a full season. That's right, that's not that's not a little under nineteen four games, pretty full season. And he got drafted in didn't he So he has one injury he was, but I think it was multiple injuries last year. It wasn't just one injury.

It was one. It was one injured knocked it out for the year last year really as dr right, But it's just you know, more for Nick Senzel here, which sucks because a lot of it on him. He's, you know, one of the top prospects in baseball. You know, the hit tool is there for Sinzel and a lot of things that I read about prospect and here here about prospects are you know, if you have the hit tool first,

you can kind of branch out to everything else. Really you could develop the power as long as you have the hit tool. And he's clearly athletic enough to steal, you know, I would say fifteen to twenty bases over the course of a full season. So sucks for Nick Senzel. Sucks first fantasy owners. But again what we were talking about yesterday, Scott Schebler are going to start the year most of the time. For the rest it seems like he's a little undervalued here, especially in fifteen team five

outfielder leagues. He can be started early on in season. He's gonna see going to start every day though, I would say most days who that cant easily? Yeah, but against against lefties, they'll play madcap and I think he working right. I think you were. I don't havelers on the strong side of a platoon. I think you should be back, have a lot more than you think. I'm not. I don't play Scott Shandlers that undervalued. But no one's

mentioned Scott Schandler really at all. Sorry, no one's really talked well since well that's not true, since the over the last couple of days you've seen mentioned a lot. Actually, I think his ADP over the weekend in NFBC was three seven right, nothing going behind Evan Longoria, m Ryan O'Hearn. Who has Kristin Stewart like like Christian Stewart better what nothing? against right handed pitching. Maybe Garrett Hampson places a second base against against right against lefties, and then Ryan mcmanon against right handed pitching um and then you know they can move Garrett Hampson around. You know, if someone needs a day off in the outfield. He's pretty much that super utility role. Garred Hampson and Chris Taylor are pretty much in the same boat in terms of being super

utility players. Obviously, Garrett Hampson has a lot more upside because he plays in corps field and he has a stolen base upside, so we'll see what happens there. But yeah, kek Hernandez, you're already some second baseman for the Dodgers. And I mentioned this with Tim Beckham yesterday. Any middle infielder that has twenty plus home run upside is relevant

for fantasy. And he's severely cut down is strikeout rate last year, kek Hernandez is he lowered it from twenty three point four percent in he has a career ten percent walk great, so even in points leagues or o BP, definitely definitely interested. Good line up two with the Dodgers. Very good line having here. Nandez has had spurts as a fantasy relevant player in the past, basically starting against Madison Bumgarner pretty much. Yeah he'll ter Q Wilson against

Patriot type of thing. But yeah he her Nandez um against Madison bum Garner. Obviously there is something there. It's Chris Taylor thing. Not great, Bob. You're looking at other shortstops that you can Yeah, I'll I guess Eles Andres you did. I think I decided to Jeff Kers Taylor and say no, I haven't because, as I said yesterday in the show, I only have four moves for the next two weeks, so I need to I need to

savor them. I think one of those movies I used to reading in Greg Holland, so I would pick up Elvis Andrews though, because you know he's gonna play every day. I would make that move. And then you just really got to be smart about when you would just definitely save. It's like the middle to end of Oh Man, it's hard. You just might not have a short stop on opening tape. I know, but if Garrett Hampson starts, I don't care. You don't think he's gonna start it's the problem. Well,

they're gonna face what was a Urania in Miami. So either way, it's not really a good spot because he's playing in Miami, he's not in court, and they're going up against the righty. I would be surprised personally if Garrett Hampson, Okay, so the opponent. Oh man, this is annoying that I can't. I am hamstrung right now. This is this is gonna be bad. Mr Anither news, Greg? And then the next week when you have to set your line up again on Monday, then you'll have those you know, Jose Cantana who's not pitching over the weekend, Shane Bieber. It's their first start of the season and they're going up against the tough lineup with the Taittani was Cardinals. So those are really the teams I wanted to mention the Yankees, the Cubs, the Blue Jays, and the Cardinals, whether because pitching, their face or the

environment that they're playing in. The Cardinals, al right, Cardinals in Miller Park something that you're taking to look at. I agree. But when we say that, right, like what Cardinals are we trying to stream? That is Harrison Bader, one of those guys, Tyler O'Neil and DFS. Potentially if he starts a game, maybe we should start Tyler o'neion on the league because of that. In Miller Park, be four games, maybe you'll play fifteen teamer maybe anything shallower

Yeah, so like he has like you have, like the three utility players. And then on top of that there's like a d H. There's like a d H player that you can only play in that lineup. Okay, so that's interesting. I mean that would help. That would make me pull up a guy like Chris Davis or Nelson Crews up the board or later on

in draft Kendry's morales. Yeah, you just gotta know your d H players here. But those are three that comes to mind. And then with the five starting pitchers you mentioned, you have to use specific relievers as well. I think that changed as much. I think we're used to that in the points leagues that I play, and I start six starting pitchers and two relievers, I just try and grab closers. In some leagues there are starting pictures that have a relief picture eligibility. I would look in to
