You're listening to the Fantasy Sports Radio Network. Did we just become best friends? Fantasy best Friends forever? Our number two? Fantasy best friends forever? Fantasy Sports Radio Network Frank Stample, Gregg Soustern now joined, as we are each every day our number two. But the closer, Chris, what's up? What's up? It's your boy? Yes, I had a draft last night. I did. I almost forgotten and it to big league

though drawls last night, the big time draft. The money is but you know, the players in the game are like local Jabronis and stuff. You know what them? Oh yeah, pretty much. I pretty much dominated his team. It's pretty leagues. I mean, everyone might be stacked, but he basically put these Gabronis through tables I'm here. Are you ready? You're really ready for this? I don't. I don't think you're ready for this. I don't think you read alright. So

I catcher. I got Danny Jansen right first base, Matt Olsen second base, Javier Baya's third base, Jose Ramirez shortstop, Corey Seeger. I'll field one, Ronald Kuna Jr. I'll field two, William Myers if I field three, Michael Brantley, I'll feel four, Victor Roblez utility at a bertelmondency, and then I got black Ground Junior and Nick Senzel. We're gonna rotate that out and then listen to the pitching, because you know, you would think the pitching wouldn't be maybe as good.

But I got Colls Carrascom Clevinger, Zach Wheeler, Shane Bieber, Indians, baby, a lot of Indians. I got three Indians starting pitches. I got Roberto Sona, Jose Alvarado and Michael Givens as my closes. I got also Joey Lucazy, Chris Paddock, Joe must Grove, Sean Newcom and Domingo Herman. It's very good team. You like that team, right? So I think you know, a lot of people might be still gonna have better pitching. Teams will have better pitching. I think teams have better hitting.

The Paddick lives up to his upside of him. You have like a top thirty starter right there too. And I let all the Indians, guy, I'm excited for you. Bieber on the mound last night, Greig, did you know last year when they do the nickname weekend he said not Justin? Did actually did actually do? And Bieber not Justin? And get him last night, which I'm not. I'm not gonna end up with any shares of Biber in it my heart. He's kept in one of my home leagues

Morrow Night. Moor Night is one of my home leagues, and I don't think he's kept there. He's kept my other That's what I was going for. I gotta have at least one share of That's why I got biased too. I got him in the fourth night, five innings, two earned runs. Yeah, he's gonna be He's gonna be one.

You know, I did see. I saw a tweet from Vlad Sandler, friend of the program with Fantasy grew Elite that he was basically saying the helium on Shane Bieber is getting out of control, Greg like, there's not not margin for here. Here's the tweet. I'll read it to you. Listen. I love Bieber as much as the next guy, Shane, not justin, but this helium is getting out of control. January a DP of one five is now one fifteen, and he made crack the top one hundred in Vegas

this weekend. Have all the main main event drafts. This is not a misdirection tweet. Babs is fully priced with little margin for error. True, where's goings? What I'm talking about when he goes in the six round last night, those inside the top ninety picks, I didn't expect it, you know, called me off guard. It's awesome. He is kind of awesome. It's just saying it's to headlines. You're going my draft. Let's do the headlines. Don't worry. Great,

we'll have time for your draft guarantee. Like you're just trying to knock knock time out. So I really want to talk about Walker Bueller and stuff from last night. I think it's the right hand, my friend, are you not intrigued by Walker Bueller? You don't want to, I'm asking you to tell me about right. So, coming into last night, the docter said they wanted him to throw either thirty five pitches or three innings. It's starting now. He gets up to forty pitches in two and two

thirds endings pitched. You'll see the turned run allowed that actually was that came after he left the game because he left the game with a man on first base and the bullpen gave up a few hits, ended up giving up the run, but it was charged to Bueller had to strikeouts in two and two thirds and he pitched and he reached nine on the gun, buts innings he wasn't very efficient. But I think just the fact that he touched ninety hour, they let him go forty

five pitches. I think that's exactly what you needed to see from Walker. Brewler. Yeah, I think seemed healthy, seemed touched ninety eight. As you mentioned, no result really mattered to me. He was just he was pitching and he was healthy. He felt hitting that velascit and he didn't like feel weird, didn't feel weird about it. That's the important thing. No walks as usual, of course, five innings,

two earned runs to home runs. I was watching the came in the same ending one to polic want to Russell Martin of al he's got to stop pounding the strikes on too much. Strike Yeah, if this guy just gets a little bit more wild and you don't originally want to say it's about a picture he's got effectively, Yeah, he's got to do it on his own. Wanting to do it pitch outside the strikes, wanting to make you know, hitters chase pitches because he pounds his on too much.

That's why he gives up to many homeless. It doesn't walk anybody, but he lives in the zone. He gotta wipe out sliders. So what he's gotta do is just make that look like a coming in the zone and throw it out of the zone. You, I mean, you can use it if you waste pitches, all right, So what if you walk Bryce Harper, that's not the worst. Like, if you're oh to on a guy, let Bryce Harper

beat you. You're oh to on a guy. This is like a golden rule when I was pitching when I was young, is he don't throw the ball anywhere close to the strike zone. Nowhere close. You make this guy chase you change his eye level and if you've been throwing low, throwing high changes eye level thro out, Yeah, you gotta switch it up. Otherwise these guys are just you gotta make You gotta adjust to them, man, and

make sure that they they're off balance. You can't just be oh, I'm Shane baby, I'm gonna throw in the zone. Your stuff could be as nasty as the next person. Like, you know, you could have Randy Johnson type stuff if you just live in the zone. I mean, eventually, these are major leagu hitters, they're gonna crush you. They're gonna eventually they're gonna crush you if you just live in the zone. In Randy Johnson, what made him so great

is you know, he was effectively wild. I mean at the time he didn't know where the ball was going. Plus he was scary to look at because you're so tall on the mound. You're seeing the video of him killing the bird. You've seen it many times, many many times. This had even happened, I would love for it's a one in like a million. A scientist or some kind of math major statistics analysis come in and what are the chances Randy Johnson, So I've actually read this, I

don't know the answer. It's like it's like, actually read you have a better I don't remember. Yeah, real it's something super super wild like that. Yeah, it's not possible. So a little last night for you. That game was awesome. Joe with a mustache, our guy friend of the program. Actually, he's going to be in town during wrestle many a week. He's going to like every wrestling event that weekends. Actually wants to meet up and grabbing and I'll talk to

you about it. But um, you know he's gonna follow the rules, right, he's joined He's joined the Patreon fold the rules. Yeah, I mean yeah, he wants to take him something off her. But he was beating back and forth with me last night because he was enjoying the Dodgers Indians as well. I never thought that I would be that into a spring training game, but I would alongside drafting Andleton Timmins, Greg, I was watching Walker Bueller, I was drafting and watching Belmont because this is big

for the Belmont Stakes. He for I'm gonna sit there and watched. You probably just stayed for this venture. You watch me watch my team is like a disaster. Bruins. Let's go Bruins, and he's gonna do this the whole time. I'm gonna hit him in the face. When is the game three Tan on Thursday, the Bruins versus the last year? So last year I'm gonna I'm gonna survivor. I'm gonna survivor by March Madness pool. And like I had to, I have somebody and I have money on the line, right,

and I'm I'm picking you pick a team? You do you play the survivor of March Madness. I don't. I don't play survival much. Man play the regular back, right, So the survier's best, right, you gotta pick a team of day every day. All I gonna just win out right on Thursday and Friday. I got a two teams. So I'm in this pool. Chance to win you a couple of thousand dollars? Sound great? Right? I'm sitting there like we need for my team to win to advance, and he's sitting there in my face against me. No,

I picked up my bracket. I think actually bet on the other team. Greig, you just tind to pick from gay more untilast and you just picked him in your bracket. Well, I think I actually bet on the one of them, what have the you been on? What have the you been on the other one? He didn't. One of the reason I was runing against you, Greg, is because you're being so obnoxious. That's what I do when I watch games. I wanted to see the game, and you're standing in

front of the TV. I'm like, dude, I want to watch the game, and you're standing in front the TV. So like, like I said, I'm gonna get your team. Like I said, you don't want when Maryland happens on Thursday, You're not gonna want to be That's how you You're not gonna want to be around. I got some stuff to edit anyway, so perfect you have head I'm probably gonna go borth through your headphones can bars Thursday. The first half do I want to want want the NBA

Fantasy deally like the first half of it. I mean, I don't know what I'm supposed to do, but I guess I'll do it. I'll try. I'm down for whatever really come in. My slacker, you know, would be slacking meant like this, Yeah, he should be. That's why I want to do it. Just three questions are the way we got you back. We do anyway, that's sitting here. You were watching Maryland last week too, but it wasn't the tournament was ten tournament. But it doesn't matter. Maryland's

not winning it anyway. Are you picking Maryland in them? Why? Is it just because you want to go against Greg? No, it's because knowledge that I have learned everything that Greg has told me. I don't know much about college basketball, so I try to pick up a little bits here and there. I hear Gabe talk about some games. I'll try to use that to my to my knowledge. Last week,

told me how how bad Maryland lost in Nebraska last week? Okay, if they're that bad, then they're probably gonna lose to Belmont. Belmont is not very good. You have taught me, and I'm using it to my advantage. You told me, quote, Maryland sucks, Let's go Bruins. It's not right, right, all right, it's not right you did you picked Belmont. You could like lose that money on lose that one game in the bracket. Who cares one game? It's not a bracketbus

bracketbuss game. Merland's is six in Belmont's eleven too. I mean, like you know, you could have just went married. Still still can't shock the world. Shocking the world. Everybody in their mothers on Belmont. How does that make you feel? Great? Not? Great? Baseball items? These are not really don't care. What are you reading about Syracuse over there? I mean reading Maryland? No, I'm focused on the show. Really all right, So what do you want to talk about? Next? Items you want

to talk about? You think Craig Kimberal is gonna land with the Brewers, Greg, I think it's really I didn't think so. But really interesting report last night, Really interesting from Ken Rosenthal. He's meeting with the Brewers. I was starting to get a little more interested in Corey Knables. Yeah, he went early in my draft last night. So good thing we didn't get Corey Nable last night. Kimbral's gotta sign somewhere because this is getting ridiculous. So those is

about to start. I haven't drafted Kimberrill anywhere because I worried about And even if they say, oh, well we're maintaining a throwing program, we're gonna be fine for the season we're to start today, I don't trust it. Man. There it's different when it comes to actually ain't live game actions like simulating live game like you can't. You can't just do that. You can't just throw somewhere else, and you know have have that similar type of experience

as actual game actions. So the fact that Craig Kimberal hasn't pitched yet, it worries me a lot. You draft him anywhere? No, you're off. Yeah, I'm not touching that. Like he hasn't pitched at all, because I hear him here Kaikos, you know, throwing. He's trying to get a spring training and he might be pitching. That's what I'm trying to say, is he's not pitching in games. You know, you need that behind everybody else. I worry about that. And plus, if you look at some of the underlying

numbers last year, actually regress a little. That's where he was. He's old. He's a little bit older. Look, he's not gonna get the contract he wants, clearly not. He's still lingering what happens? The season starts in a week? What are we doing? The season starts a week from tomorrow? Correct, Well, it actually started last night. He did last night. There is bombs away in Tokyo. Last I woke up. I woke up to my man Domingo Santana hitting a grand Slam.

I woke up to Chris Davis jack for the third consecutive Opening Day HUNKERB Bowl, Steven MSCOTTI with a bomb. My favorite player on the on the A'snt Chapman with a bomb, Tim Beckham with a bomb. Gordon with a stolen bassam brief for three too interested? Hey, you want to talk about only the guy has a job? Told you by the way, I told you JP Crawford first picking that draft. He thinks in the draft, bad draft, side down draft. I will say this, Greg, Matt Chapman

was obviously very worried about him. He looks like he's ready to go. You know, I was worried about the thumb, shoulder. He's gotten a few reps in spring training. He comes out here swinging first game of the season, home run, a double, two extra base hits, three RBIs. It's and this isn't just me reacting to one game. This is okay. He's swinging the bat and looks healthy doing so. That's

what I'm taking away from this. Do you remember when we did the third is preview, Greg, what I said about Matt Chapman was this is what I needed to see. So if you have drafts coming up in the next couple of days or over the weekend, I'm moving mattch Chapman up the board. I'm moving with rings because when I spoke about him, I was very high on him.

I was very bullish on match Chatman. He made huge late discipline games last year venture where in the minors he would strike out a ton of the time, last year he walked a lot. I thought it was very surprising. He scored a hundred runs last year. This is a very underrated Oakland lineup. People might not realize it because they play in Oco and it's a big ballpark, and sometimes you want to stay away from some of these bigger ballparks. But Loriardo, Chapman, Piscotti, Chris Davis, Holsen, pro

far Simian. This is a deep lineup. Do you have any shares of match Chapman? You in? I know you like. I love Mat Chapman. Problem is my home league. He was kept in like the twenty feet round, which was a great keep up. And yesterday I had I drifted Jose Ramiers at the fourth pick, so I didn't have that nief at their base and vlag Gerrero linger really long and he ended up being my like you till and so did Alberta Mondesie. Nobody jumped on those guys.

I got him real late, so I couldn't get Chapman. There was no you know what I mean, better value. But I want him, so I'm gonna jump on him at some point. If we spoke about third based targets yesterday, Rendon is at the top of the list for me. But in those middle rounds, Chapman, uh, Justin Turner and Michaelmusakis. If I get one of those guys, yeah, I love. Those are the three in the middle rounds. I love. I love those guys. That is exactly what I needed

to see, just to know that he's healthy, sea extremely well. Like. I think Chapman's better than Olson, like like, not much better, but significantly better for fantasy. They do different things. He walks a lot. Alston Wilson's batting average is gonna be a little bit lower than Chapman's right, and he walks more than cham has more power upside yes, because he could hit thirty probably in his prime. I think that Chapman could hit thirty plus though I think he could

do it. Chapman could be like a two sixty two seventy hitter with dirty home runs. I think I think Olsen could be like two fifty. Similar last news items worth mentioning something that we speculated on the Cutcheon confirmed as a leadoff hitter for the Phillies. That was val saw that Caesar Hernandez I think six or seven in the line up for Philadelphia. McCutcheon the conduity he's been doing. It's good value where he's going right now for draft. money all the time. Then one day I heard them talking about this guy, some uncle I never knew it, calls Uncle Sam. Well, they say this Uncle Sam guy wanted them to pay him like a gazillion dollars, and they didn't have a gazillion dollars. So they called this company they heard on the radio called the Tax Doctor,

and the tax Doctor worked with Uncle Sam's people. I think they're called the I R S. And they're able to work it out, so my mom and dad didn't have to pay Uncle Sam very much money at all. So now mom and Dad are happy, and I'm happy to thanks Tax Doctor. If you owe ten thousand dollars or more to the I R S or state, call now and pay less eight hundred one five one seven to seven eight hundred to one five one, seven to seven.

That's eight hundred five seventy seven. Time Decisions is the College Insider Tournament with KAIPIAC at uh at New Jersey Institute of Technology. That's when you know you've got a gambling proul Baldolf you just sentured you at the buffet. Let's say you want a little bit of everything, but then you get an upset stomach. After right, you can cattle there everything. Why did I get every barrel? Why

did I get the twenty scar parrel game? I know I could have still had leftovers with the twelve but you know what I mean, Like week days four pm Eastern one pm Pacific only on the Fantasy Sports Radio Network. Joined the Experts live on the air every day by calling in at April four, six, seven nine to join the Fantasy Sports Network. So I've been, uh, ask you yes or most now at my draft? What do I do? But just have the last night and did exactly according

to plan? Mm hmm. Are you upset with anything? I looked I was upset, and I think it was just because I was upset about our draft last night. I had so much going on. I was more upset that I should have been. I think they looked at my team this morning when I was like looking at Domingos Antana did eight league in a twelve team keeper league, and I'm like, seems pretty good. I think should do for you. I have no idea what the team looks like, not at all, honest, not at all. I don't even

know I did. Should I go I go round order or should I go like my team round orders? There's a bookie bets, as you know, we'll pick you have first. So in this league, given that pitching of keepers, whatnot? Colin Verlander went in the first round. Okay, just to give you an idea. My goal, as you guys know the entire time, was it taking out freely like Springer, Puee, one of those guys, along with a guy like Packing or Strasburg, which everyone was there. That was my plan.

I remember I was keeping I kept Wheeler, I kept Snell, I kept Turner, I kept Aranada. Hey you with me. So to the person that was right before me had told me he's not taking James Paxton if he's there, he had him last year that with the injuries, I don't want to deal with him. The person right before. So the two people right before him, which means so three even four people away from me, Paxton and Strasburg back to back, gone, m hmmm. I don't know what

to do. This is this is not good. So I would have been taken said do exactly what you did, a G. S. T. J. Screw pitching, and I would have taken one of the outfielders or both outfielders. And so Xander Bogarts. You just killed me for doing this correct correct I did because Sander Bogars is a really good value. At that point, Bogarts goes right before me. So now at this point I'm thinking, too, I bring

a picture up the board. Who's there? Yeah, top hitchers on the board, according to my lesson, we actually open it up exactly, tell you exactly what it was. The top pitch on the board according to me, we're Jamison tye On, Zach Crinky, Clayton Kershaw, Hermon Marquez. I would have won tie on me tie on that tier with Paxton's ahead of everyone else. Would have taken it. Took George Springer over week. Sorry, Frankie. I would have did

that too. I wanted to do that. I told you that did lean toward it, and then I took and then I took Jamison tye On. That's good. I took ti On. I didn't love it. I didn't feel great about it, but I was like, Okay, my pitching staffing Snell, tye On, and Wheeler, that's pretty good. It's not bad. It's not bad. Goes back around to me. And I was really hoping in this spot to be able to get I was hoping that one of doll and who like the previously doll Castianos, to get back to me,

along with Tanaka like that would have been awesome. I thought Tanaka and Castianos go back to back right before me. There. I was hoping Pueeg or Daniel Murphy would also got back. They went way earlier. In the fourth round, I took David Doll and then I did not know who to take once again, and I because I listened to my VFF. It's a Chris Archer. It's a Chris Archer. I like it as a four. Oh. I should have known you did this based on your text messages last night. How

many pirates pitchers? Too many pirates and always do well. I took Chris Archer. I took Chris Archer over her mom Marquez. Oh, I didn't want to do the rocky thing. I know it's sketchy. Yeah, people took Chris Archers. You can absorb the risk. One of my kis is your fourth starting pitcher. You can take the risk there. I'm not a Marquees guy. If I was faced with that,

I would have taken him. Yeah. I would have taken Marques too, because as your fourth st P, there's not much downside at that point because if he sucks, all right, you can bend him for someone else. You already have three other really good pictures. Yeah, you have Snell, you have Whiller, you have toy Own. I love Archer and I really like to Knockau this year as well. I would have taken Marquees over Bowl. Would you take Miles Michelas over both as well? I have Marquess I would

take would you would you take Archer Nicholas? I have Nicholas Archer I like. I like Michelas as well. I haven't ended up with chairs of him. Well it's close. I have Micholas twenty five and Archer twenty six, so it's it's a coin flip, and I have Marquez twenty two. I like Archer better. I like Archer again on the Pirates. His z Ra should drop. I think his full year, full year, he'll have two years though. If he has a full year, he's guaranteed two hundred tas so I

was hoping. Yeah, in the in the three years fire till last year, Sorry, Greggy, he had at least two thirty strikes exactly each of the three years. Last year when he got hurt and then he had offseason surgery to to fix sports and that's why he's dropping. You know. Formally, I didn't like the price tag when you have to take him in the fourth, fifth round. But now when you're getting him in you know, UND eight to ten, I'll take the shot there s P three is r

SP four or something like that. Take that shot Archer went in the third round, might keep his drift. I don't dislike how much people, as you know, I have spoken up Archer a lot. He got me. I would I would have taken market. Just doesn't people rates terrible. I think his strikeoutrate's gonna come up this year. I could see that happened nine was under seven less. That's between strike ray was actually more indicative of a higher strikeout rate for him. And if you look at his

pitching arsenal, it's really good. Yeah, he's a good andn't walk anybody either. I love that. I love that too. But here's the thing about his carriage. Like usually it's a guy that's close to a caper nine, I mean a caper thing that usually breaks out and has that year where all of a sudden they have well more than a k Parning. But a guy that's that low, you know, he had like a hundred and forty six strikeouts or something like that, something like that, that's real low.

I don't think he's gonna strikeouts were one forty six forty nine percent groundball rate hit A two point eight three e r A for what it's worth, only allowed hard contact percent of the time. He could go deep in games because of that. That's just soft contact. He induces a lot of groundballs. I know the strike ASTs were at six point five five case per nine last year, but the swinge strike rate nine point six percent, that's

right around league average. The average K per nine is actually higher than that, so I think he's actually closer to like seven and a half case per nine this year, so he comes close to two innings. Yeah, I think I'll give you like a that makes sense, and you know it's gonna about him if he does pitch yourself contact and doesn't get a lot of Hey, those pitches sometimes go deep into games, and you want that in

a weekly league. That's why I don't like Markazi p two ings, Like I want a guy that's gonna pitch game in, in in, game out and pitch me six six seven ins. Here's also what I like about Mikolas. So we're just going off thirty seven percent of the time. That's well of both league average league averages around. So we're talking about he gets hitters to chase his pitches. He pounds the strikes on his first pitch, striking the averages sixty, he gets ahead of the count, he gets

hitters off balance. I think more strikeouts are gonna come. The only thing that worries me is that he came from Asia and these guys didn't have a real scouting report on him. Now he got a whole full year of facing him. Now you've got a scouting report on Nasty. According to pitch Values, he had one of the best sliders in baseball. But like, I think guys are gonna

catch up a little bit. Don't think's gonna have the r A he had list, I mean, he had a two point eight three e r A. I think I think he's closer to like a let's say a three five three tres strike out come out maybe gives you a hundred sixty five hundred and seventy whip will be good too, because he doesn't walk anymore. Right, one point zero seven whip, Maybe he's one point one five, one point one five whip three point five. I mean, I

like that sounds right. He's a guy that you have to pair with other pictures that already give you strike out right, like he could have you compare him with a guy like if you have Blake Snell is your ace, you compare him with that Blake now is gonna give you strikeouts. All the aces are gonna give you strikeouts. Really sure, they all give a ton of strike ats. That's why they're asces. Yeah, absolutely to take with Archer. Oh David doll right, yeah, David, okay, bare started your

first two outfield. Oh your outfield is done now because you start three out bet Springer and it's good. It's very good. Probably look better with a Peak. But I like, I might like doll better than Pek. To be honest with you, what's the difference between dollond and Neither one of them have proven anything? Different ways? You say Peak, I say it's so many different ways. Like it's just like the one name where it's only full. Let imagine that his name is felt p W E E G

Yek Peek, alright, Peek, I might like dal better. It's Colorado, Colorado. I appreciate he was in this year, same tier for me. Okay, we contract year. The funniest pick of the draft is like, what round was this end? We're not up to that yet. That's round eleven. How did how did j Wolf Studios go started off Schers? He had two first round picks right now. In the first You're not gonna like the

other first round pick, Jock. He left Paul gold Schmidt out there, and you do like, yeah for jose l t I'm gonna cool with then he then he went, oh, you're not gonna let this team at all. He took Schuser Stephen Strassburg. Those are his top two starting pitchers, Yes,

surg two sharing pictures. Joey Vado, Joey Vado okay, the Massy here Tanaka the Chapman kept back Carpenter drafted Faulty Buxton Profar faulty as Chapman's Yeah, seventh Chapman pro far Buxton, d Gordon, I love Profar right, de Gordon still miss jose Kinzana all right, Adam eating Josh Bell, Jake Arietta kept Confordo Godly kept Matt Chapman all Sanchez, the Dylan Matanzas, Julio Tehran, Tim Anderson, I love Tim and Francisco Savelli.

I love Francisco playing him this week you asked me about came back in the sixth and my guy this time was scooter one scooter here he loves scoot do so Cano went in the fifth I had I wanted. I had Ronado kept in one of these picks, so I really wanted Scooter. Once Cano went and the guy next to me, we're still there. The guy next to me said, I'm gonna take a j. Pollock if Paula doesn't go. If Paula goes, I'm taking scooter. Paula goes,

he takes scooter. But I scrambling didn't think that there's a couple of second base and that I would have been okay with including odor. So I decided because Tapman was gone, tryn and was gone. Hand was gone, um rodo Soona was gone. You didn't have a clothing yet, so I took felive. Vaskis at the spot. Now you don't love I don't you don't love Vasquez? I like it though it's secure job. Are you betting the pirates

over this year? Love the pirates, Love the pirates. So we come back around and once again, once again, I have a keeper coming up. I'm sorry I had a second pick in the seventh round and another pick in the seventh round. There's a flip Vasquez and given the the closers were kind of going, I took baskets there and then I grabbed Odor Nice. Are you not gonna like one of my picks? I can't wait to takeet to it? In the eighth round, kept Wheeler here, so

I only had one pack of the turn. I thought there was value as some of the closers coming off the board. I didn't love any of the starting pitching. I thought my hitting was pretty good. I got the second closed early Herbie Herby, I paired up Kurby A, I paired up Curby as if leave a Vaska as. I felt really good about it. Breakout like it? Yeah, I like it. So then I only have one pick in ten eleven because this is my Blake Snell. This is my Blake Snell keeper, and I'm signing it my

first baseman. There's two guys I like once Matt Olsen. Remember points lead type scoring. I had one guy way above Olson Santana, Carlos Santana, and I stuck with all reliable Carlos Santana san I did I mean they're very close. They're very close, though, Yeah, I mean I get very close. League four O b P. But Santana is so good, so good, I like, but I didn't want to cross the DA kept Turner in the next round. Again, I don't really know who I wanted, and I hate to

do that. So sorry, what are you doing? The drafts? Going on? Greg? I told I told you what I'm doing. You kind of build up Q and injury lineups, keeping time, crossing up by guys and looking at our draft. Is not a guy you like in the wol so again, none of these pictures. So at this point, like some of the guys I really wanted, I went like I wanted in Baldi here, I wanted I would have taken rich Hill here, who I kind of liked. M hm, Luke. Check to my catcher. It is Wilson Conchars. I don't

hate it. I like it. The other guys gone, yea, he was not gone Wilson rob Most she has Monty grand Doll Posy, who you don't like I would have took. I would have too. He was gone. Oh he's gone ranked ahead of you. Oh so I think I mean he was to me, he was the highest catcher on the board. I don't really wait. I normally waited to catcher, but there wasn't a guy I wanted, so I took him now and I paired him with Domingo Santana. So that's my utility. So the only spot I don't If

you know this, you probably haven't. The only stop spot in my starting hitters is shortstop and I have not failed yet. I appreciate it. And who's around. So the guy I was just targeting at this point because they're all gone, all the guys, was considering Paul. That's the

guy I wanted. That's the guy was targeting, and I had him ranked by far the highest, but I didn't really know where everybody else kind of had him obviously, so I waited and waited, waited, and I did not get Paul goes in around Why do you do it till long around twenties? You should have took him before then. I was waiting, So welcome to the squad. Dirt's in profile. He went man. I started short stop. I picked in

the twice first round Elvis Andres Andrews went undrafted. Interesting up right now that I wanted to one of the squad. Garrett Hampson. Yeah, yeah, let's go. Let's go. He's playing. He's playing, he's playing, he's playing. He's platooning, but he's playing. I think Ryan McMahon is on the right side of that platoon. No, he's on the he's the left handed side. Say this right now, the way that I'm viewing Garrett Hampson right now, if the Rockies play six games in

a week, Hampson probably places three. That's that's that's just me realistically. But okay, that's now, though it shouldn't be that way. No, I think Garrett Hampson could be awesome. I mean, he's tied for the league lead in in in the speaking with six dollar bases and one of these guys in the league like, he could be awesome. But I think as of right now, I have to see and started today, Ryan McMahon is starting second basement

against right in right. Okay, fine, but I guarantee you by the end of the month, they will be the starting around. He can play the outfield. He's basically their utility guy, Garrett, Right, they give someone a day off here. That's why I say if they play six games in a week, I say he'll play half. I'd say four. I'd say you should probably pick up Elvis had. We'll have my backups Chris Taylor. That's a good backup. You know, like Chris Taylor, and he's an outfield Taylor, and I

like him because he's also outfield eligible. That's important. I liked it. I like that. I like the flexibility. And you have to Chris Taylor. Yeah, you're gonna be playing Chai another a Christaper. That's fine. So I wou was at this point between I can turn into a great keeper. That's what was my other idea. So so after that, at that point in round twenty two, I wanted to take d D No, I might eat a short stop

later one The I are good keeper didn't happen. So anyway, between rounds fifteen and twenty one, I just drafted all these starting pitch us to fill out the roster. I'll let you know who those guys are when we come back. I will also let you know the question I now have in Yahoo. And I've reached out little Scott Pianowski who got act to me, and I reached out the Dalton Deldan as well, try to get an answer to this because I don't know what the answer is to

determine a lot for me. Interesting you might want to know about this stick around more on the way Fantasy best Friends Forever. Right up. Go to game based grooming dot com for all your athletic facial wipes and body cleansing needs. The morning, after a couple of minutes left, the coach has fairly already went into TV posts. They don't when the camera's on. He was sitting alone,

and he was sitting there pondering in deep thought. He looked like an actor, and there's prayer of you coming back, and he's sitting there and it finally gets up and starts doing his little thing again. And then after they're like, what a great job. The coach are fairly dead, and I'm thinking, you know what, what a selfish guy this coach is fairly is in my own opinion, Sweet Days not emmy starting on f T S Y Radio and on your popular podcast providers, Little You and Me is

our final intro here in it. I don't pick the music because it's recal question. All right, So what I'm happy you answered? I left up one of my specks. We haven't gotten to it yet. It's around fifteen Chris Paddock. So around fifteen Chris Paddock goes. Around fourteen, Chris Padock goes, So I grabbed his arto with my next pack obviously solid m And then around sixteen I knew I wanted one of one of my pictures I've been talking up. I wanted them, so I grabbed them, and that was

Brad Peacock. Like Brad Peacock, you know, I like Brad Peacock. I saw he pished really well. It was named the fifth starter of the whole deal, Grad Peacock. The other guy was considering for the double up was Brandon Woodruff. I was like, oh, is it a little earlier? Brandon Woodruff. No, So the answer was no, it was not not Stranga one. People after me about the way, So Brandon, would you have went at the end of this round. So I grabbed a different starter, and immediately after doing it, I'm

just like, Greg, what do you do? What are you doing? Like he's terrible. Frank the guy that like I was embarrassed to like, I was literally embarrassed to say out loud at the draft. I tried trading him along with Wilson Contrari. I tried trading this picture along with Wilson contraris for Jose Nan. I've proposed this, let me, let me get this picture, and he said he said yes, and then he's like, I don't know. I was just

draft like Frankie's realy and he did it. Proposed that the j Will Studios, Mike Myner, No, Trevor Cahill, Dylan Bundy, not like Donny has potential. So the guy I picked had a good year last year, but like the peripherals are horrific. No, I would like to take this your eight like Prad Keller too. I wouldn't have been upset drafting the dress you guys have up side. This guy has no Upside's old too, oh yeah, oh yeah? When games last year, He's seriously, the bottom is about to

fall out on him. Fall out, fall out, I don't know us was there? Please tell me who was on the board. I shook Lester. I took Lester in Peacock, Like I said, not strong on the board, you least chasin. It took strong Brandon Woodrofs. I would have taken I should have taken. That would be my answer. I'm just going starters now, Merrill Kelly, someone took Josh James was as far as Whitley. And then it's my turn again. I mean, what about your boy, Vince Velasqua was I

love video? I love video. Saw that I leve video out there. In my next two picks, I took your voice, Zach Efflyn and Aaron Sanchez. I like that. Just need Aaron Sanchez to stay healthy, get over those blisters, the fingernail whatever. It is pretty well here right now. He's

how in the spring? Great? Is this? Something that worries more about Aaron Sancons, which I've actually heard other podcasts talk about, is the fact that he's a groundball pitcher, and he obviously a lot of groundballs on the turf in Toronto and the Blue Jays infield defense is not very good. Look, I think Aaron's tansers. I mean just if you watched the guy pitch, I think the stuff is really he just has to stay help. So I'm not he's not gonna get back to where he was

a couple of years ago. Paying for that anyway. Yeah, I mean he goes so late. If I get a sub four e r A happy, very happy. Yeah, I think he has upset. It's not a good park to pitching. When flag comes up, the defense is gonna be unless going up. Cays are going down, the swinging strikes are going down, the X fit is going up. Was Michael Filma und to what we seldfore something? Tommy John Man, well, forget about that. Speaking of Tommy John, speak of Tommy John,

we did a whole show together. How do they even undrafted? Actually want to take him over Trevor Richards? Right, Richards Richards, I think he's undrafted. That's who I would take, right, So I just chomp John Richard. So that's all a lot of potentially any other bums on your team that you could drop. That's it. You're that's a my whole

team and Shan and Shane Green. So, speaking of Tommy John, we did a whole show about innkeeper leagues, guys to target with the last couple of picks, and we brought up you had a Cespedice, You brought up Chris, We brought up d Gregorios. We got sniped from me, which stunk, and we brought up Showo Tani, show Tommy the picture because he's two separate guys, and yeah, all right, I want the picture because he's amazing, and get him next

year in the last round, Like that's pretty awesome. So with my last pick in the draft, I drafted show a Otani. He can go as early as you'd think. When in the No. Nineteenth round there are people a word Yeah, okay, so that was yeah, that was that wasn't great? That was that was the wrong button? That was that was the wrong button? Oh yeah, what am I talking? Alex um So just got the picture of time. And then someone in the league says that's a stupid pick.

I'm like why, Like, he'll be back next year. I have a great keeper, Like, yeah, I have to waste a DL spot on him all year, but it could be like a good keeper for someone that's out of the lead if I'm still in it in the trade deadline, someone who doesn't care about d el spots like a trader with the deadline. He goes, well, the problem is when Otani comes back in May as a hitter, won't he be off the dyell? Then won't you have to

use an active roster spot. That's an interesting on him. Yeah, and I go, in all honesty, I didn't even think about that. I don't know because Yahoo has designated otanis two different players tradition, and never didn't. I agree with you. CBS is one player, so if he's actetive, he's active, it doesn't matter. But Yahoo designated Otani as two completely separate players. So in my mind, the separate player is out for the year, he's not playing. It should be

treated as two different entities. Correct, Whether you want to, whether you want to treat him as in a not active or I L injured list, fine, but you can't treat them as the same player. There's two different human beings for all intensive purposes in your game. So I reached out to Scott Pianowski last night of Yahoo and said, hey, man, like, we'd love to have you on the show, but also, do you know how y'ah who is treating this? Ye? Good question? Not sure? Shout at Dalton del Don, So

I send a direct message, just Dalton del don is it? Hey? Man? I love to have you on the show. How is y'all who going to treat this? I've not heard back yet. He hasn't been on Twitter yet. I think he's out west maybe, but that is a legitimate question, and I don't like because we've never had this problem before. I've never had this problem before, never will again. Now, if you're gonna treat him as an active player, I'm gonna drop him right now, not even not even think about it.

I worry about I'm not holding an active roster spot on this guy all year, and it's not like you paid anything for him. I'll go pick up all hiss Audrey just not care about it. It's fine. But if he if I can't stash him somewhere all year, well I changes things. How many dealse about? You got to spots? Yeah? Now, now I want to use them throughout the terre. I'm sure I'll two of your players, probably if just being honest, you're probably gonna need those two. Del I'm hoping that

I could survive long enough that I could trade him. Ideally, he's my plan, thinking he'll be one of the best. He'll be one of them, not the best. Always trying to do something similar. But my keeper leagues, my football keeper league, I drafted Darius Guys in the fourteenth round, right, and I was kind of I was selling him to

people at the time. You helped, you held him on your team all year, and I ended up just keeping him because no one wanted to take a shot on a running back coming off the torn can't blame him, so and then we re signed Adan Peters ever two years. But I do try to I dotually try and do something similar to that in my keeper league. So give me the names again because I have I have a few drafts coming. D D Gregorious Gregory Polanco was an interesting one in the last round. Yeah, that's a good

one because he's gonna come back. What I think people are going to sleep up a month in? Is there anything else from missing? The other players are the big ones? D is a good one too, Yeah, it's the first one first. Those are the two. I think that because I feel like should be drafted behind those two. He's always hurt. You didn't get paddicked too. The paddock went before me before I drifted Lizarda. So what do you think about your team? So just looking at it, um

just as a team, it's pretty good. What do you guys think? Honestly, I think it's yeah, run down it Catcher, Wilson and Dreire's first basement, Carlos Santana, Uh any one?

Second base is I don't have what yours anymore? That's Tarot's rude and odor third base, Non Arronado shortstop, Garrett Hampson, Slash, Chris Talent outfield, Springer, Bets Doll, Utility Turner, Domingo Santana, Pictures, James and tie On, Zach Wheeler, Blake Snell, Chris Archer, Brad Peacock, Aaron Sanchean, zak Fflyn, Jesus Lazardo, John Muster, relief pictures, Herbie Yates, Felipe Vasquez, Shane Green, and I have Botanio deal. I think it balanced. I think it's

many balanced. Yeah, you have enough speed? Is there anything I'm missing? There is this points? Or is this categories? But he has as a category, so a treaty over the points like speed wise, I have Bets, Springer, Hampson, Hampson, So maybe I should drop Taylor big of aundaries. Maybe that's the move from me that gives you some speed Old or can give you like fifteen Okay, D don't really have like a speedster. I don't know that Elvis Andrews is that anymore? Should I d should I have drafted?

So I consider this knowing my team. Should I have drafted de Gordon over Odor? Because of that? Honestly, in the headside categories league, I would probably just basis like I wouldn't really worry about it because it's just one category trying to like focus on like O, B P and a bunch of power stuff. So I don't know, Old runs RBIs and runs all the time, just kind of punts the on bases. You guys know better than me. I don't know how I would treat that, because you're

just trying to win the majority of the categories. You don't have to win all of them right right right to me? I mean you can paint the harder ones. I like going after the guys that have, like, you know, you a whole one up of ten to fifteen stolen base guys. That's basically what he ended up with here. He got bets will give you know, and then Odor fifteen all fifteen. Hampson could put him over the top. Hampson, Yeah, I mean if you get still thirty, that guy, if

he puts it full thirty easy. The harder guys to read right, by the way, Madison Bubba Garner went in the third round of the draft. Really that Van Jeff Jets fan Jeff started off the draft. I gotta tell you, guy, can hear Jeff literally not listen to this? So Jett fan Jeff traded away Chris Sale, who kept in the second for a ninth round pick. Jeff, what are you doing?

He's like, Jeff, you're making yourself pretzel because he thought he in his mind, he gets the second round pick back and he gets an extra ninth round there and he could get like a Verlander or a second round he took Anthony Rendell. He started off his team Chris Bryant, Anthony Reizel. Would you rather have Rendon in a ninth round pick or Chris Sale for sale? Easily? Yeah? Easily? He have to there's no other He has to be shocked, shocked when when Verlander and Cole went off on the

boy over managing. This is a Mike mccagnet. He pretzeled. We like to call it. He pretzeled himself. Why would he do that? Yeah, pretzeled himself. He thought the value would be there. He get one of the better pictures, a picture that he has equal to sale, and a hitter, and he has a ninth ground pick back. We're extra night ground picks. Sorry, extra nine ground Yeah, that extra night round picks not. I mean I would have Madison Bogers his ace. Yes, his second his second picture is

David Price. So then you got a couple of hitters. And then he just driving straight pitching like hen picks in a row pitching. And I'll read you some of the shots he took. And Warter Rotariguez good, Nick Pavetta, Yes, like like Andrew Heeney. Dude, he's really interested in raw stripling. Mm hmm. Sean Nukem Brandon, would your Kyle Gibson. Uh, you're putting it seems putting me to sleep. It's s going, man,

David Price. I can't I can't really think it would due all off the top of my head that I hate more than that my first We all just laughed when I read that back, Like four picks later, we were just dying. I mean, listen, listen, I understand people still want to hope that bum gonna returns. He's not going to be the same guy he was. He could be good, though he's not an ace. He should be at three, I think, and s P three. I'm cool with it. He's an SP three and so was Price one.

Both guys are Yeah, that's what I think. But I guess his hitting must be good or no. I can read it. All right. Let me tell you, Jeff Stein here you change he changed his name, Okay, so yeah, keepers and whatnot. It's Catcher's Francisco Mahia, Mike and first Blase Travis Shaw, second base Azzi Albie's you like that? Edy rend Trevor Story rans he thinks very good. Um, Trevor Story, Ronald un, Chris Bryant, ben In, Tendee, Kepler, Harrison Bader are his starting hitters. So it was great.

It was great up until those two utility spots, though, Keprol and Bader isn't really No, everything's amazing then before that, Yeah, it was before that. If you would run that out, I would have been like, all right, maybe anybody else, you know else interested in know that? No I think we covered a lot of bases here, Greg, we hit your team, We hit j Wolf Studios, We had Jeff. I have a question, where did Joey Lucas you go? I believe hometown Heller is joyly the CAZy. You believe

hometown Helen. What is the Jaguars fan in football? So homes down, Heller homesown. Heller did not draft the third basement? Is that allowed? Yes? Yeah, whoever you want you have to do. You don't have to fill it, and then you pick pick a guy up. He had the best keepers in the league and found up with Garrett Coles his first round pick. He kept. Nola is terrible. Also, actually this Piching is awful and he has Colon Nola. Are you the other starters? Marco great star, Marco Gonzalez.

You darvish John Gray like a waka. I mean he'll be a king Harman, Jeffy k Hill, Jeff so Marja, it's it's bet on the back end. I like Gray though, I'm in on John Gray Cole and I mean, looka gonna hold it down. He needed a nice three though he left. Yes, he drafted. I think he just got you as his third he's screwed up. Not jeffys Is. Your three is not terrible. It's not. It's risky, but it's not terrible. But yeah, you could take that risk

when you have those first two goes. Johnny dr pretty early, so he didn't take you. I do, what do you? He was terrible when I drafted him the second round. That's what he did today. Yeah, to ask your question, Joey Luke CAZy, that guy didn't take him him. He went to a Kersh and Mandel fourteenth round. Oh my god, too early? CAZy, gazy or no? I think my league just dressed pitches so early, though, Like we have guys like Louis Castillo, Miles mikol Is go in the fourth round.

The fourth round. Is that normal? That's not normal with so many players that are being kept. I mean, look, it depends on you're scoring format. Pictures are so valuable if if starting pitchers get more points than everyone else, they do in my home league. That's why mar and I have the third pick. I'm considering taking Jacob the Gron over Mookie bats crazy, but but sometimes you got I hate doing that though. I hate doing that just

because everybody else is gonna drift, so many pictures. I hate that Inside Injuries Tomorrow dr A, Chris Ventra, Frank Stafil, I'm Greg Susman. Be March Madness tomorrow. Also we'll do some of that that too, so uh has some fun. Have a great day, everybody, enjoy the madness see tomorrow.
