Episode description

Good journalism requires the ability to tell a story that captures the attention of its audience. And there are lots of great examples of good radio and audio storytelling out there now, using journalistic techniques and with qualified journalists guiding the listeners through the process. In this episode we're talking with Editor of BBC Radio 4's Beyond Today podcast, John Shields. We discuss the ingredients of good storytelling, and John gives great advice for budding storytellers. Terry is joined in the studio by Broadcast Journalism student Karolina Komada.
