Welcome to a new episode of the False Summit podcast
This week we sit down to chat to Coach Ellz Garrett about her experience with menopause and how it affected her training and general wellbeing. We discuss how frustrating and confusing the process of realising whats going on and then learning to manage the symptoms in the short term can be. We also touch on the varied nature of experiences people may have with peri-menopause and what long term implications there can be because if this change in hormone levels.
We don't necessarily have the answers but we want to further the conversation around training and menopause from the perspective of those who already take part in resistance training and want to continue to do so to the best of their ability.
