Episode description

Kansas citizens voting down a referendum to overturn abortion rights in the Sunflower State was a much-needed victory for the pro-choice movement following the fall of Roe. And it's not surprising that the state voted the way it did: despite whatever personal feelings people may have about abortion, most will not vote in a way that negatively affects the rights and freedoms of their friends and neighbors. Recent stories of women being forced to carry unwanted pregnancies to term also drive home the cruelty of this Supreme Court decision. The anti-choice movement has truly poked the bear.
