State of Roe: New Hampshire

The latest entry in the State of Roe series focuses on New Hampshire, which we're happy to declare a safe state for abortion and reproductive rights. In 1997, then-Governor Jeanne Shaheen took the outdated "zombie laws" restricting reproductive rights off the books. There are four abortion providers in New Hampshire, which can be found on AbortionFinder.org. The Reproductive Freedom Fund of New Hampshire can provide you with funding if needed.
However do note that New Hampshire does have a parental notification law for abortion, meaning that a judge must determine if the underage abortion-seeker is "mature" enough to get an abortion. It is good to note, though, that there is a push for better access to contraceptives across the state.
