You can't be in faith in an area as long as you're questioning God's will about it. Maybe you're in faith in other areas, but if you're still questioning God's will in an area, you can't have faith for God to meet that need. If you hear enough of His Word until you are fully persuaded, then you can pray a prayer of faith. In order to have faith, you've got to be sure. You have to hear God's Word on that subject until you've gotten it settled in your heart and you're confident. For more informati...
Faith cannot be wavering. It can't be vacillating, "Maybe He will, maybe He won't. If it's His will, if it's not His will." No, you have to find out His will before you can have faith. You cannot be questioning the will of God in an area and pray a prayer of faith or make a confession of faith in that area. In order to have faith, you've got to be sure. You have to hear God's Word on that subject until you've gotten it settled in your heart and you're confident. For more information visit faiths...
When something is harassing you and bothering you, speak to it! Don't just sit silently. Don't just be frustrated. Don't just worry and wrestle internally. Rise up on the inside, be bold, and speak out loud words that loose and allow the angels to work, and the Spirit of God to work, and God to do things in your life. By your words, shut down what the enemy is trying to do. In order to have faith, you've got to be sure. You have to hear God's Word on that subject until you've gotten it settled i...
Don't let the enemy trick you into being a silent believer, because that's the same thing as being an ineffective believer. If you want more faith, it doesn't come by praying for more faith or by begging for more faith. It's a whole lot like a muscle. It increases by training, by using it. And the key way that you use it is by saying. In order to have faith, you've got to be sure. You have to hear God's Word on that subject until you've gotten it settled in your heart and you're confident. For m...
There are a lot of things we don't know, but when the Bible clearly reveals His will to us, we are no longer to question His will. He requires us to trust Him, and faith is not just believing. We believe, and therefore, we speak. In order to have faith, you've got to be sure. You have to hear God's Word on that subject until you've gotten it settled in your heart and you're confident. Faith is more than silently believing. Faith is believing in the heart, and it is expressing that belief by acting on it. And the number one action is your words, the confession of your mouth. The moment we begin to decree and say what He says, no matter how it looks or feels, heaven gets involved with earth. This is the secret to an overcoming life. Faith is believing and expressing a belief, primarily through your words. Jesus had what He said would happen. What He said affected changes in the natural world, and He's saying the same thing can happen with you. What you say can happen! The moment we begin to decree and say what He says, no matter how it looks or feels, heaven gets involved with earth. This is the secret to an overcoming life. When God speaks, His Words create. His Words change things, altering them for the better. The number one action of your faith is speaking. There are other actions that go along with it, but that is always first and foremost. As Jesus walked the earth, He spoke Words that He believed, and it affected miraculous things. The moment we begin to decree and say what He says, no matter how it looks or feels, heaven gets involved with earth. This is the secret to an overcoming life. For more information...
Many Christians, when they talk about believing, don't associate it with speaking. But there is no such thing as the spirit of faith without speaking. God released His faith through His Words. He has always done it, and He continues to do it. And we are made in His likeness and image. The moment we begin to decree and say what He says, no matter how it looks or feels, heaven gets involved with earth. This is the secret to an overcoming life. Faith is speaking that which is not yet in the natural and that which is not seen. It is calling it as though it already was. You're not saying that you feel that way, and you're not saying that you look that way, but you're speaking to it to change it. The moment we begin to decree and say what He says, no matter how it looks or feels, heaven gets involved with earth. This is the secret to an overcoming life. We can look at the unseen by faith. And focusing on the unseen, being mindful and aware of the unseen, puts us in a place to be proactive instead of just reactive. When we learn spiritual truths, we can say something before it ever happens. We can set something in motion in the unseen realm that then shows up in the seen realm. We are made in the image of God, and He has told us to be imitators of Him. Like God framed the worlds with His words, we can frame our world with our words. For more inf...
God has been functioning by what He says from the very beginning. The church used to know this centuries ago, that Jesus is the High Priest of our confession, and that He works with what we say. But there is a war of words. The enemy is trying to use our words against ourselves, getting us to agree with him by saying hurtful and harmful things we shouldn't be saying. We are made in the image of God, and He has told us to be imitators of Him. Like God framed the worlds with His words, we can fram...
Jesus warned us about using empty, non-working words. He said we'd have to give an account of them. We are to use words that work, words that energize, words that bind and loose. Your words carry more weight in your life than anyone else's words, including God's. We are made in the image of God, and He has told us to be imitators of Him. Like God framed the worlds with His words, we can frame our world with our words. For more information visit faithschool.org ....
The ungodly world only uses its words to express thoughts and feelings. It doesn't have a concept of using words to change things. But God doesn't speak just to communicate. When He speaks, He releases faith and power that brings change. His words are effective and produce results. We are made in the image of God, and He has told us to be imitators of Him. Like God framed the worlds with His words, we can frame our world with our words. For more information visit faithschool.org ....
The worlds were framed, shaped, and molded into existence by God's words. He wants us to operate this way too. He has anointed us with the Holy Spirit, and Jesus has given us authority in His name. We can see the glorious possibilities of walking as He walked, and speaking like He spoke, and seeing results like He saw. We are made in the image of God, and He has told us to be imitators of Him. Like God framed the worlds with His words, we can frame our world with our words. For more information ...
God knows that when you seek, you're going to find. He has committed that if you believe Him enough to do something, to act on that belief, He is right there, and He's going to respond. If you're looking for something in Him, He is going to see to it that you find it. God is a Rewarder of those who do something--who reach out, seek, search, and step out in faith. Since faith is not passive, we must receive what God has given. For more information visit faithschool.org ....
By faith, you can connect with God instantly. You can put your mind on Him. You can reach out your heart towards Him. You can talk to Him in faith, and if you really mean it, from your heart, He will respond. He is a Rewarder. God is a Rewarder of those who do something--who reach out, seek, search, and step out in faith. Since faith is not passive, we must receive what God has given. When we go to God, we must believe that He is, and we must believe He is a rewarder of when we diligently seek Him. He tells us to ask, see, and knock. These are actions, and living faith acts. The way God works is that He provides, then He tells us to come and possess it. Believers are go-getters! God is a Rewarder of those who do something--who reach out, seek, search, and step out in faith. Since faith is not passive, we must receive what God has given. Faith doesn't pull back, shrink back, cower, sit back, or lay back. All of that describes being passive and doing nothing, ceasing. Rather, faith is a mover, a reacher, and a seeker. Faith lays hold. It has to advance, to move forward. God is pleased with faith. God is a Rewarder of those who do something--who reach out, seek, search, and step out in faith. Since faith is not passive, we must receive what God has given. For more information visit faithschool.org ....
Many say, "God is in control," and the implication is that nothing is up to us; it's all up to Him. But God is not pleased if we just pull back and passively wait on Him for everything. Faith isn't passive. Faith is a receiver! God is a Rewarder of those who do something--who reach out, seek, search, and step out in faith. Since faith is not passive, we must receive what God has given. For more information visit faithschool.org .
