Intro to the Faith Based Business Podcast

Hello everyone, everywhere. Pastor Bob Thibodeau here. Welcome to the Faith Based Business podcast for today. We're so blessed that you're joining us. You know, this past several weeks we try to motivate you, teach you, guide you. These past several weeks to create your own profitable online business, we've been guiding you, you know, discover your niche, niching down your niche, how to do market research to make sure that, that this is what you're going to be doing.

And folks, if you missed any of these episodes, I urge you to go back and catch up because these things are, are vital to your success. Amen.

The Importance of Getting Started

Today I'm going to share another idea with you, and that is just get started. Praise God. Just get started. A lot of folks spend months, sometimes years, just thinking about what to do. And until the rubber meets the road, you'll never know if your idea is going to work or not. So just get started. You know, you may, you may remember back when you were like 14 years old and thought you knew how to drive.

I mean, you'd watch your dad drive or your parents drive and other people drive, say this, this is, I got this. Now, you were just waiting till you're 15 or 16, whatever your state law is, so you can get into the car and try it out, remember? And you had it all in your mind, you had it all figured out. This, I got this. But the first time you had to exit onto a highway and Traffic was doing 70 mile, 75 miles an hour past you, it's probably a little bit scary for you, wasn't it? Right.

The only way you got good at driving at 75 miles per hour was by driving at 75 miles an hour and doing it several times at 75 miles an hour. Am I right? Don't shut me down when I'm preaching. Good already, Praise God. Now I have seven grandkids and I taught five of the seven how to drive. Personally, I take them to an empty parking lot and teach them how to drive, turn, stop, accelerate, and all that stuff.

Then we'd proceed out on the quiet side roads for a little bit and, and then the next time out on the roads, you know, I'd be telling, okay, let's go up here and turn left here, turn right here, turn left up here. And we'd end up out on the Beltway, the interstate highway system and the particular place we had enter. I had it already pre planned in my mind on this. But then you'll have to drive about maybe a half mile, three quarters of a mile and they'd be able to have an exit, right?

And they never have to merge. All they're doing is they had to accelerate because you got other cars trying to take that exit as well. And, you know, they would get super nervous. You could just tell this was scary for them, right? But the fact were they required. It would require them to get up to the speed limit quickly amidst the trucks and cars zipping past them at 70 miles an hour. I look up here, fear was on their faces and it was priceless, right?

I wish I could show it to you, but I'd be telling them, faster. Come on, hit it, hit it. They accelerate. Get going. Stay right up there. Get there. Get up, get. Okay, now keep your speed ups. Keep your speed up. Okay, now turn your turn signal. Let's exit. Slow down, slow down, slow down now. Okay. And they'd manage the curve and then they'd exit and out on the side road again. And I tell them, congratulations, you just drove on the beltway. And it was a sort of, hey, I did, didn't I?

I did that type of moment. And it's something that they had been dreading. And then I was just maneuvering them into that position where now they had to react, they had to do it, they had to be successful, and they accomplished it. And it was a winning moment for them, winning moment for me. Because now in their

Driving Lessons and Confidence Building

minds, they knew they could do it. They just did it. And instead of, you know, telling them, now, Monday, this is what we're gonna do, and have them dread it the whole time of being nervous, I just, you know, okay, turn left here, turn left here, turn right up here. And all of a sudden, they're there. They had to perform, folks. That's what you need to do. Just do it.

You know, they couldn't plan for what I was about to do because I didn't tell them what was going to happen once they were in the middle of it. They just had to do one thing to survive. Follow my directions exactly. And this built their confidence now in ways that would normally take weeks to do with your standard driver's training classes.

And. But that confidence in me, their confidence in me, and the self confidence in themselves now for accomplishing it, paid dividends and accelerated them quickly down the process. Not one of my grandkids has ever received a citation either, praise God. And most of them now have been driving for years. But they all talk when. When the. The younger ones were now hitting that age. They all talk about how papa taught them to drive at taking them out on the Beltway. And why did I share all of that?

Because it's the same thing here.

Taking Action in Your Business

You will never become proficient online until you pull the trigger. And just do it. Just pull the trigger. Instead of waiting until you think you have the perfect solution, you have the perfect website, you have all of these things ready to go. Instead of waiting until that happens, just do it. I do that today, folks. I got an idea for a new training. I don't go out there and do a whole bunch of market tests and see, you know, do they like this one? Do they like this ad?

You know, I do that in the process of launching. I'll have, you know, I'll have three different methods of getting it out there, but all of them are going out simultaneously. It's like boom. And it's published and then I see which landing page, which optins are working the best. Okay, you don't have to take months and months to do this. Just do it right. You don't have to take hundreds and thousands of dollars in research to see what three products are going to sell the best.

Just launch all three, promote all three and see which one does the best and then put the other ones aside, maybe use those for bonuses on the one that did do. Successful. Amen. Just create what it is you need to launch. That's all it is. Put it out there, see what happens. What happens if nobody buys it, Come back in, look at it again and then revamp. One, one, one thing.

It could be the color of the website, it could be the color of the COVID on your PDF, whatever it is, change one thing, the title, the font, change one thing, blast it back out there, see what happens. But if you change the entire concept, you change the website, you change the fonts, you change the colors, you change the name, and then you blast it out and get a little bit of response. What triggered the response? You don't know that's what I'm saying.

Change one thing, get it out there, see what happens next. In the process, you may get a couple of sales here and there that will help feed your processes as you keep going forward until all of a sudden that one change, you did it just, you know, the graphic on the front and all of a sudden all these clicks are coming in. Then you know, okay, this is it. Now you can put the advertising dollars to work.

Now you can put all the effort into your social media posts and, and blasting it out there because now you got something that works. You didn't wait you in the process of launching, you may, it may have taken you 7, 8 iterations to find the one thing that starts working. But now you know. And that seven, eight iterations may have taken you two weeks, three weeks to figure out, instead of months and months and months of I just don't know. Now you know. We're going to take it up again. There.

Next time. This. I'm already talking longer than I figured I would. Amen. Praise God. I don't know about you, but this is important stuff. Amen. So we'll just take it up here.

Concluding Thoughts and Encouragement

Next time, if you have an idea, just do it. Just do it. And then we'll talk next time. Till then, let's pass the Bob Remind you, be blessed and all you do.
