Hello, everyone, everywhere. Pastor Bob Thibodeau here. Welcome to the Faith Based Business podcast for today. We're so blessed you're joining us. You know, all week we've been talking about using storytelling. Actually the past two weeks using storytelling in your business or ministry. And this week we've been focusing on the science behind the storytelling. And that's what we'll continue to do in today's session.

Amen. And you know, today I want to talk about creating a signature story that defines your mission. Amen. Your signature story is the cornerstone of your brand or ministry. It's the one thing that everybody should remember is your signature story long after the presentation is over. If your brand is, let's just say, climate change, whether you're for it or against it, right now, it doesn't matter. Okay. I'm just using that as an example.

But if that is what you are all about, but you give a presentation on the 13 steps to winning at Domino's two weeks from now, what will your audience remember about you or about the points that you're making? Nothing. They won't remember a word about it. Other than that, you talk for more than an hour about dominoes or something. Right. But if you came in and gave a mesmerizing presentation to climate change, again, right now, it doesn't matter where you're out on the issue.

I'm not talking about that. It's just an example. But the audience will remember it. If you were for it or against it, they're going to remember that however you presented your case, they will remember whatever. Whatever it was you said. Okay. Because it begins with a very clear message. Your signature story is the cornerstone of your brand or ministry. It encapsulates who you are and what you stand for.

Amen. And a strong opening will hook your audience, while a memorable closing will move them to action. But without the action, you're just a storyteller. Amen. By aligning your story with your audience's values, you will help to ensure that it resonates deeply and that your story will be remembered. You should go into some detail. Not too long. Okay. Two or three minutes. Showcasing the pivotal experiences that shaped your journey and your mission along the way.

Highlighting transformational moments that define your journey by aligning your story with your audience's values. When you do this, it ensures your story will be remembered. That it resonates is memorable. For example, if I was to be speaking at a climate change summit, probably never happened. But if I was and I was presenting facts that proved climate change was false, I'd run the risk of being kicked out of the auditorium, wouldn't I? Amen. And the opposite was true.

It would be true if I was presenting climate change information to an anti climate change rally. Amen. So don't, don't look at me in that tone of voice. Don't shut me down when I'm preaching. Good. Praise God. You know what I'm talking about. You need to align your story with the audience you're in front of. That's the whole point I'm trying to make. Amen. Align your story with your presentation for your audience's values that they hold dear. Amen. Over time, your signature story can evolve.

It'll often reflect personal and organizational growth while remaining true to your core mission. Crafting this story establishes that lasting connection. It empowers you to inspire and guide others effectively updating and refining your story to reflect your personal growth and your organization's growth. It is always welcomed and appreciated. It also adds that element of credibility to your presentation. You know, this week we studied the science behind storytelling.

I pray you got a lot out of this very important topic this week. Now, if you'd like to learn more, I got good news for you. I'm going to be going into detail on all of this in a very special training. Right now I'm conducting a live in depth story training on Storytelling on November 26th at 12 noon Eastern Time.

In fact, you can register for it now if you're watching this presentation via recording or perhaps after this date, you can still watch the entire training at a link that'll be made available for all those who register for the training. So you can still click the link to watch the replay video. Okay, I'll have it edited and up there and available for you. But all you have to do right now to attend live is go to faithcasteracademy.com faithful storytelling.

You know that's where the link will be after the videos played as well. So you can register for it to watch after it's again faith or faithcasteracademy.com forward/faithful storytelling. And if you can attend live, everyone who registered to be sent the replay, it'll also be available under that link. There is a $27 fee for the live training. Amen. But for this small amount, it's well worth that small investment. Just go to faithcaster academy.com faithful storytelling.

And that's all the time we have for today. Praise the Lord. It's been a good week. I hope you got a lot out of this on storytelling. And we'll see you again next time. Till then, this pastor, by reminding you to be blessed at all that you do.
