As we continue on, Paul uses examples to show God’s purpose in election. Both examples he uses are based on faith. Let’s look together to see what this means for us.
What is election? What is God’s purpose when it comes to that? Let’s look at the context of what Paul writes, as well as the context of the Bible as a whole to answer this question. You will find that God has a predestined plan for man, and you.
As we take our first steps in this section of scripture, we lay some groundwork as well as see Pauls broken heart. Let’s start our walk thru this passage on the right foot.

In this message, we return to the account of David and Goliath, and dig in a bit. There is a question that needs to be answered. What does this mean for me? Is this saying that we can go and slay all the giants in our lives with one single blow? Or is it pointing to something bigger, someone bigger, who does for us the things we cannot do ourselves? Watch as we walk through the rest of the passage, and see what it teaches us today.
In this first of a two part series, we turn to the beloved account of David and Goliath. 1000s of years later, it still speaks to us. As God’s people, we face some Goliath issues today. The question is: will we stand up? Is there not a cause? Join us as we learn what truths this holds for us today, and how we can take steps to have an attitude like David.
You can find some interesting people in history who have done some great things. You can read and even write a book about them. But no one compares to Jesus. He is God. Savior. Lord. Friend. Listen as we walk through this wonderful passage of scripture and see how no one compares to Jesus!
All of us get the blahs from time to time. There are times in our lives when we just don’t care about much. Usually we snap out of it and move on. What about when we are stuck there? We know that we are freed from the bondage of sin in Christ. But what are we freed to do? Simply exist? Not by any means. We are freed to live for Him now. In this message, Pastor Ryan walks us through what it means to follow the Spirit and not the flesh.
Man is in bondage to sin and death. Just a quick look around will confirm its cruel dominance over our lives. Only one person can set us free from that: Christ.
