Reason through the ages

David and Adam discuss how reason’s competence (with respect to the Christian tradition) has changed over the centuries. Plato and Aristotle, medieval schoolmen like Thomas Aquinas and William of Ockham, and modern thinkers such as René Descartes and Charles Darwin are all discussed to set the stage for subsequent episodes addressing the reasonableness of belief in God's existence.
