The Pursuit of Truth in an Era of Deception

So , in the very controversial , we're going to look at some videos tonight . Usually I try to do a live stream on Monday or Thursday nights , but I don't know if some of you follow me personally . I know some of you do , but I'm about to show you the most amazing thing that you've ever seen . That's my little girl . We had her .

She is two weeks and a few days old . That was like a day ago . She was in my arms . She was milk drunk . So life has changed drastically for us and has been an adjustment . My wife is still here at the house and she doesn't have to go back to work till after the first of the year . So things are crazy right now for us .

So I wanted to get on tonight . I had a little bit of a time where she put down the baby and she was able to take a shower , because we can't do anything normal anymore because we are still acclimating and the baby has not slept all the way through the night yet , but she's feeding , so moving along . So Israel , let's talk about Israel .

What exactly is going on Israel right now ? So I found some of the most what I believe to be accurate and specific videos that will explain to anyone watching this video exactly what is going on in the Middle East . And also , right now .

There is so much I don't understand where it's coming from or how it's even a thing , but there's people who are so confused on apparently what side to take , apparently from right to wrong .

Now , from what our culture and country is right now , it's not too hard to picture people taking the side of brutal murderers and everything else , because we're living in a time that is embracing and celebrating evil . For instance , I don't know what kind of music you listen to , but I know this generation coming up .

Excuse me , three days a week Monday , wednesday and Friday usually , sometimes more than that , sometimes less than that , just depends . But some of the songs , like I just heard it today on Instagram , it's a very popular song and it's called I didn't even know the name of it , but it caught me by attention because it has a nice beat to it .

It's they're singing in a way where you don't really understand what they're saying , but it's catchy and it's called unholy and if you listen to the lyrics of the song you realize very quickly that it's not a song that church people , that people that say they know Christ , should listen to .

So it's no mystery why people right now in our culture and in today's society , specifically over here in America because that's all I can talk about , I don't know about anywhere else , but specifically over here they will try to normalize evil and they will try to make it where thank you so much says she's beautiful , thank you , I make them good , try to make

it where anything that is wrong is now made into being good . So I don't know how you were raised , but I was raised that my , my dad was a preacher my entire life .

I was raised in sermons that he would say , as , as the Bible would say , that the end Draws near , that , the end is coming , and so , as soon as things started happening like this in Israel , you have people that are asking a bunch of questions there is this the end time

? Now , here's what I believe . I haven't not talked about this . I do not preach politics . If you don't know me , I'm a , a leapastro of a church here in Longview , texas , and I do not preach politics .

Matter of fact , I even instruct my leaders , if they are in a class or doing something in a class that they are , not to Indulge in political conversations , because it can get , it can cause massive division that has no reason to be there in the first place . Now , as Christians , we can fully preach , teach , talk about In the house of God .

As leaders in the church , as pastors of the church , as ministers in the church , we should and Be willing to and want to talk about evil and against evil , such as abortion , such as same-sex marriage , such as all the the vast Last things that are evil that the Bible teaches against .

Now , if you don't believe in God or you don't believe that the same things that the Bible says are evil or you , that's okay , that that is your personal opinion . But Because I don't agree or affirm with what you think is right or wrong . It's not my standard . I'm only repeating a standard that is set up and ordained by God .

So you can be mad at me , all that you want . I will take it on the chin for the Lord before I will ever take it for you to make you where you don't feel Attacked or offended . Now , that doesn't mean I don't love the people living in sin , because I want to was living in sin . It doesn't matter what the sin is . Living in sin is what we do .

It's sinful nature . So , that being said , in our country right now , I saw a I think it was an Instagram reel and there was someone who was posting about Israel for Israel , and there were it's always these white people . I don't know what is wrong . I don't know why . It's always white people . It's all my .

It's almost making me ashamed to be the same colors them .

But they come up with these weird outlandish claims , ideologies , and they were going and ripping down the , the set , the thing on the on it was like the little , the light post or whatever Electropost , and it was talking about supporting Israel and they were like ripping it down and Trying to , I guess , make some sort of statement , I don't know .

It's like they can't actually have conversation or make statements . They just do stupid things and they end up getting famous for it . Delaney , excuse me . So , that being said , as I was talking about , I was raised that the end is Near . The Bible talks about it specifically in the New Testament as well . And then you have the book of Revelation .

So the book of Revelation is not something for a new Christian to try to study because it's so , it's complicated . Okay , so me , I may put that on your Facebook and when your relationship status is complicated .

So to study that , you have to understand a lot of symbolism , you have to understand the text and when they were writing it , it's just , it's very complex and it's very , very deep . And so it's not really waters that are meant for a new Christian or a young Christian , because you will get , you will drown Pretty much because it's it's very , it's very deep .

Well , I am not a . I got a question from somebody that said why haven't you Preached or said much about Israel ? And and just let me answer that for a second , because just like I don't talk about politics in my church , I'm not in there's there's some preachers that are prosperity gospel preachers , which I completely disagree with .

There are some preachers that are only in-time preachers , which I highly disagree with , because that makes you overlook where you are now . Instead of living for God in the present , you end up looking past . But I also know that the Bible promises that Jesus will return soon . And so what ? I think this is just me .

I think , honestly , that COVID was a dry run to see what kind of control would be allowed in this day and age , so that there can be other steps to go in the way that they're wanting to go .

And when I say that , I'm not trying to be a conspiracy theorist , but you have to admit , some things that have been painted up as conspiracies have kind of been coming true . So , that being said , what's happening right now in Israel ? Is that a foreshadowing ?

Is this the step that we must go in to , in the direction of , for the end times when Jesus comes back ? And my answer is a resounding yes .

Like the Bible promises that in the last days there will be a great falling away , that there will be people who and just think about this there will be people who did or do , or pretending to , proclaim the name of Jesus , that will not stay true to the faith .

And even like , if you think about what the devil does , even to the point of saying that things are true and manipulating that , manipulating false doctrine using some scripture and saying that it is truth . Type in Andy Stanley affirms lgbt , I think , q plus or whatever it is . So this is a guy who's a pastor .

He's still a pastor and there was rumors of him coming out not as gay but as affirming and saying that the Christian people inside of the church are the problem , not the people living in an alternative lifestyle , and that's a direct conflict and violation of the word of God .

So now , someone who was a kind of a pioneer in a lot of things , in biblical study and devotions and things like that I don't know how many books he's written , but now is 100% because he's saying that sinful nature is acceptable by God and that the people who are living according to the word are not living Right , but the people living in sin are living

Righteous . This is called a false prophet . This is called heresy , this is called false doctrine .

In a church house , there is no longer a house of God , it's a house of man , because as soon as you start taking the Bible and twisting it up to fit the narrative or the idea , ideology that you think is Is okay , that you feel is right for you , then it no longer becomes a place , your heart no longer becomes a place For God or a place for his spirit

to dwell . But now you have made yourself a God . Now you have made yourself Dictator , ruler , king of your life , and you cannot be a , a servant To two masters . It's either the flesh or God . There is , there is no middle ground to this . There's no , there's no happy medium here . There's no gray territory .

Now what we have to do , and and how we become better disciples of Jesus Christ , is that we have to Study , to show ourselves , to prove . What does the word say ? I have been watching here lately . I highly recommend this channel . Wise disciple I think his name is Nick Salah and he does so . He is a .

He was a pastor , he was a Debater teacher , so he taught debate and so he will look at people debating theology . He went out . Watch last week was him talking about a one pastor who is claiming that LGBT is a Sanctioned by God , and then the other one it . The other guy was saying that no , it's not .

And so they the guy who is saying it was not kept going to scripture to say that it's not . And the other guy that was saying that God is for it and God's okay with that because God created us and whatever else he wanted to say he could never actually point back to scripture .

Which , if you're saying , if you don't know God , I'm not upset with you because you don't point to scripture . That makes sense . You , you don't know God , you don't know scripture . That's fine , that's . That is where you are right now .

But if you are saying that you know God , that you love God , that you care about what God says , and you say that he says a certain thing in the favor of whatever you want to believe , then you have to have scripture to back that up . If not , then you're just making a man-made religion . It has nothing to do with God .

You're just slapping God's name on it to make yourself feel better and to make other people be more accepting . So , with that being said , my father would always tell me that the end times are coming , and that I remember hearing him preach over and over again that the coming of the Lord is so soon .

And I remember thinking , as a child , as a teenager , as a young man , like okay , how many years has he said this ? And God still hasn't come back . And so as I strayed from the Lord , as I went my own way and I started doing drugs and everything else that you can think of .

And Now that I've come back and given my life completely over to God , I believe the Spirit of God has opened my eyes to things that to those who are not being led by the spirit , that are not being prepared spiritually for the things to come , will not see . And Are we in the end times ? That's a good question that you need to be asking yourself Now .

Why is it so important to be asking ourselves that question ? Well , first of all , if you don't know God , you better get on that quick . And I don't mean a question of like do you think God exists ? The devil knows God exists . That doesn't save your soul . The only way to heaven is through his son , Jesus Christ .

Now , there's no theological seminary you can go through to get to heaven . For instance , when Jesus was on the cross with the thief , he didn't kneel down at an altar , he didn't speak in tongues , he didn't go read his Bible more . All he did was say I believe that you are who .

You say you are talking to Jesus , and he said today you will be with me in paradise . Today there's no gap between there , and so are we in the end times ? Well , if you're like me , you probably have somebody who you love and care about that does not know God , and so you should be thinking about are we in the end times ?

Is this a setup for things to come ? Is this something you should pay attention to ? The answer is yes , whether you know God or whether you don't . The answer is yes Because before we know it , for example , we just had a little baby girl , and I have a . Is it going to be 15 next month ?

I know from experience that , before I know it , this little girl is going to be a teenager . She's going to be a grown woman , because time passes by so fast . And so don't push off and don't wait to talk to someone you love about Jesus . Don't push off and wait because you're scared . You're going to hurt their feelings .

People need truth . People are wanting to know truth . People desire authenticity , and there's nothing more authentic than the Word of God . There's nothing more true than the Word of God .

That is where we should build our truth from and this is why things get so diluted is when people start building their ideology , their theology , on things that have nothing to do with God or the Word of God , but only how they feel about something and the heart . People want to say follow your heart , follow you how you feel , but the heart is deceptive .

Above all , that will lead you down a path that you'll look up and you'll never realize . You never would have thought that you would have ended up where you were because you followed your heart . The heart is deceitful . The Bible tells us this , but if you've lived any amount of time on this earth , you understand that it can be .

I was one who lived in that true , very , very true place of deceit because of my first marriage . Now I got my son out of it . I'm thankful for him . He has so many gifts and talents and he's a wonderful young man , but he's also a teenager and I don't think that God put me together with that first woman .

I know for a fact that God put me together with the woman I'm married to now . There's a massive difference when you let yourself be guided and you follow the leading of the Spirit of God and not just do what you want to do because it feels right .

Feelings will dilute and dismantle the facts right in front of you and you won't even be able to tell that it's happening . So you have to go off to facts . Where do we get our facts ? From ? The Word of God . Faith and Failure's podcast .
