Claims That Christianity and Witchcraft Are The SAME?

It wouldn't make a whole lot of sense , just like when they tried to say that Jesus was demonic and he had the devil , and that's how he was casting out demons . A house divided by itself the house will crumble . It's the same exact scenario .

Like you would not have all these witchcraft , junk , and Christianity too , they would still be aligned in the same , even if they were branches off of each other , they would be very similar .

By the way , go to any place you listen to podcasts , and faith and failures is there . You can download the episodes , Save them for later . We try to put them out every week , so sometimes fall behind on that because YouTube and Facebook take so much time to edit . But anyways , when you follow the desires of your sinful nature , the results are very clear .

Sexual immorality . Now , this is New Testament . Okay , it does not say homosexuality because it doesn't have to . Sexual immorality is an umbrella of all sexual acts outside of the way God designed marriage in the very beginning man and woman . Sexual immorality , impurity .

So if you are living a life right now and you are not married , you're not in a relationship , but you're just going out banging whatever you can at the club , that's impurity . Your thoughts , you may be watching porn . You're living an impure life with your mind , body and soul . This also piles up .

You see , all these are categorized right here with each other Sexual immorality , impurity , lustful pleasures , idolatry , sorcery , hostility . Now , these are some that , like everyday life , we act like they're okay , but the Bible calls them and groups them in with all these other things Idolatry , sorcery , almost that .

Hospitality , hostility , quarreling , jealousy , outburst of anger and this is listen . If I'm being honest with you , this is one that in this new year I've asked God , Lord , please help me , because I have a teenage boy .

Okay , he gets malvy , he gets , he has ADHD severely , and sometimes , if his medicine is not kicked in or he , sometimes it doesn't have anything to do with medicine at all , he's just completely disrespectful . He talks to my wife in a certain way .

That outburst of anger comes very quickly and it sometimes is hard for me to harness it and stop it before I smack him upside his head , or sometimes I do it just to scare him , like act like I'm going to do something and I really don't do anything , but like I want that , I want that fear to be in him a little bit , to not speak to my wife that way .

But I've asked God , I've said and the reason I you know what , and it wasn't even because I felt convicted about this right here , because I don't know about you , but any of these things . It's very easy to justify . It's very easy to say well , I'm just thinking , I'm not doing .

And Jesus said if you look upon one with lust , you have already committed adultery and you can fade away all the other Bible you want . But . And then just stick to Jesus . And he said that you know what I mean . Or if you hate , you've already murdered , and that's , I think that's some of that stuff right .

There is why we healings that don't take place for miracles and don't take place in our lives , because we're unwilling to allow ourselves , allow our spirits to be healed from damage that has happened in our lives . It's very easy to do , it's not . I can live an entire life of unforgiveness and never even realize it's there .

So what got me to thinking about Albers to Venger in my personal life is my ex-wife . I'm divorced and my son was with them for a little Christmas holiday break and she sent me a text or I guess her husband did with a picture of him . He had done something to a piece of their furniture and he jacked it up pretty good . They had destroyed it .

It still was functional , but it the only thing I believe with a hundred percent certainty . It was the spirit of God . The only thing I could think of in that moment when I got that , when I had to go pick him up because they were done with them , they're like you know what , this , this ruined everything . Come on , come get him . So I wouldn't got him .

The only thing I could think of the entire time was he got that from somewhere and I know it was me like that that broke me .

And when I picked him up he was , you know , quiet because he knew he'd done something wrong and instead of me , cause he knew it was wrong , there was no lecture that I could give him to make him realize more that he had done wrong . There was no spanking I could give him .

I mean , it was bad enough that he , he was pretty much pushed out of his mom's house . And so what I did was I asked him . I said I know , anger is hard to harness and sometimes you hold it in so much that all of a sudden you just burst out and it just happens .

And so the only thing that I could think to do was , while I was driving down I 20 , to go back home I said , Tristan , will you , will you pray for me that my anger will go away ?

And as he held my hand as I was driving down the road , I know he was the one that messed up , but I realized very quickly that so was I , and then I had taught him this behavior . Now I know there's other people in his life that's not innocent and they yell and scream and stuff like that too . But but it doesn't matter .

I can't pass blame on things that are actually my fault . And so this outburst of anger I had , I had felt , and it really was like rage that would build up inside of me from his mouth and disrespect and and you know , whatever he would do . But I submitted myself to my son and told him and explained to him that it could be me .

That was the problem of how he was acting . And I can't , I cannot explain to you the peace that came over the vehicle when we were driving down the road , when he was praying for me , and I felt , I felt release and I felt delivered

. There's been a couple of times that's been a couple of months ago . Well , it's the January .

It was in December , beginning of December , the end of December and I have not had but a couple of times that try to build up inside of me and I would immediately feel it and I would pray and I'll say God , please take this away from me , because I don't want to be that man . And how many of us ?

We have several things on this list and at the end of all of this list you can look it up yourself Matthew chapter I think I mean sorry , Galatians , chapter five , verse 19 . Through 20 , 21 , even envy , drunkenness , wild parties with other sins like these .

It says there's even more , but I'm not gonna list them all because a lot of these have brothers and sisters to hang out with them all the time . And he said let me tell you again , as I have done before , that anyone living that sort of life will not inherit the kingdom of God .

And so he sets it up to where he lists these things right here to say all of these things . Now I want you to understand struggling with these things and living the lifestyle of these things are two separate things . I wanna be very clear on that .

You can struggle with something and not be living in that lifestyle and want God to actually do something and strive towards that . But I believe he set this whole thing up right here . Look at the whole title living by the Spirit's power .

If we're allowing the Holy Spirit , if the Spirit of God is living inside of us , if the Holy Spirit is directing , leading and guiding everything that we do , we should be first in line to say Lord , is it me , Is there something that I can do to change whatever is going on ? Is there something that can come from here to change everything out here ?

And I am a walking testimony that when I just would look for a second and recognize that I did have outburst of anger , no matter what my justification was , that I actually did have a problem , that I actually needed to correct something in my life , that I needed the Spirit of God to correct something in my life , it made me now open and more available to

what came after . But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives love , joy , peace , patience , kindness , goodness , faithfulness , gentleness and self-control . All of these other things right here I'm pretty good at .

But I know from me , living my life , I have a problem right here and sometimes it affects and manipulates and ends up in some of these . God hasn't designed us .

He created us in flesh but in his image , and so , if God is Spirit , he designed us and he desires for us to not just live a life of flesh but a life full of the Spirit , so that we can nail our passions and desires of our sinful nature to the cross and crucify them there .

That's the whole purpose of Jesus coming was for our salvation , so that all of these things that try to trap us , that try to bind us , that try to keep us sinful , but God wants us to live here .

God wants us to be led by the Spirit , to have these things , these fruit , to be flourishing in our lives , and so that we can nail our sinful nature to the cross , so that we are living by the Spirit . Let us follow by the Spirit's leading in every part of our lives . Let us not become conceited or provoke one another or be jealous of one another .

One more scripture Now . If you're going through a hard time , if you're going through a tough season in your life and maybe you've experienced depression , anxiety or whatever , you wanna fill in the gap with whatever you wanna put inside of that blank . I hope this encourages you .

In 2 Timothy , chapter 3 , 1 through 5 , it says you should know this , Timothy , that in the last days there will be difficult times . Okay , and I believe with all my heart the last days that Jesus talked about , the last days the prophets talked about that we are in those last days . Jesus is coming back soon .

He is coming to get His bride spotless and blameless . Then , in the last days will be difficult times , for people will love only themselves and their money and they will be boastful and proud , scoffing at God , disobedient to their parents and ungrateful . They will consider nothing sacred . Y'all does that not sound like today ? They will be unloving and unforgiving .

So this is right here , these two things right here . This is where God wants to change the church , to be a loving people again , to be a forgiving people again .

Because I believe in miracle signs and wonders , that when we start to love and we start to forgive and we start to see people as people that need God , that need miracles , that need salvation , that need compassion , miracle signs and wonders will follow those that believe they will be unloving and unforgiving .

So when we are these things , think about what the text is saying here . It's saying people will be lovers of themselves . It doesn't say in this text , God's people . So , With context clues , that's saying that when we are acting in this way , we are acting like the world , we are not acting like the Father or like Jesus . We are being unloving and unforgiving .

They will be unloving and unforgiving , they will slander others and have no self-control . They will be cruel and hate what is good and they will betray their friends , be reckless , be puffed up with pride , man , pride month , and that is the root of all this nonsense . They will act religious . Oh , Pope Francis , what are you doing , bro ?

The Bible knew you would do it , but they will reject the power that can make them godly , which is the power of the Father , the power of Jesus , the forgiveness of Jesus . Now , what does it say ? Some people cannot handle being around , people who used to do what they do .

For instance , not that I couldn't handle it , but a pastor asked me one time like , would you ever be interested in coming to this church over here and taking over ? I'm going to retire , and it was in the place , the city , that I did a lot of drugs and I was running around every , around that whole entire place , a small town .

I could see places that I buried drugs and I buried a pipe , that I went and hid from the cops over here , that I went , and you know all these and I'm like I did not want to have that in my face the whole time . So God didn't take me there , God didn't move me there .

I never felt that Sometimes you have to kick the dust off your feet and you have to stay away from people like that for the betterment of your spirit .

At the end of the day , when you lay your head on your pillow , your mom , your dad , your aunt , your uncle , your grandma , your grandma , grandpa , your , your sisters you know all the people that related to you , your kids , it doesn't matter . You are responsible for you .

When you stand before an Almighty God , you have to answer for you , and so if it is poison to your soul , if there's a certain type of person that makes you not want to have self-control , stay away from them . Like Jacob Potiphar's wife , he ran . He did not stay there and wrestle . He ran from what would make him fall . He knew himself well enough .

Stay away from people like that . Guard yourself so that you can be the man and woman of God that God desires for you to be . Be humble enough , Be mature enough that you can stop for a second and say is it possible , God ? What do I need to change in my life ? What do I need to give completely over to you ? What do I need to let go of ?

What do I need to pick up ? What do I need to lay down ? What is it in my life so that I can live a life pleasing to the Lord ? Because if you're a Christian , that should be . All People does not matter in this area . You are not called to allow people to dictate your spirituality or your relationship with God .

A lot of times , it's the hard choices that make us have to walk away from people that are not bringing value to our life . I'm a people person and that is one of the hardest things that I've ever done is to walk away from people , because I love people , I like being around people , I get fed by being around people .

One of the hardest things for me to do was to begin to really choose and allow the spirit to choose who is around me , because there's going to be people that'll love with themselves and if they're lovers of themselves , if they are unforgiving , if they are unloving , and you are around them , you will eventually be who they are because we gravitate towards the

negativity , we gravitate towards being bitter , we gravitate towards misery loves company , but we're not called to stay miserable and we do not have to invite that company into our lives .
