Happy Wednesday, Fairy Sleepers! This week's story is Footprints on the Seashore, written by Nathaniel Hawthorne. The short story is about Hawthorne's musings during a walk on a beach near his hometown of Salem, Massachusetts. Having attended Endicott College in the next town over in Beverly, Mass, I have walked that same beach but could never express what I saw as beautifully as he did.
