Episode description

Leonard Cure's family-- through their attorney, the famous Ben Crump-- is suing the Camden County Sheriff's office Cure was killed while failing to comply with lawful instructions in a traffic stop which escalated into a roadside battle of life and death. The Sheriffs Deputy has already been fired for excessive force. But was his firing justifiable? Was the force used? Another cynical cash grab and political ploy is at hand in Georgia. Breaking it down is former police officer Eric Tansey, who has been in traffic stops that ended in fights and uses of force. He'll break down what went right and wrong. Joining him is Jon, a 911 dispatcher and former correctional officer, who's been in fights with non-compliant suspects Leonard Cure had previously been sentenced to life in prison-- but was freed by the well known Innocence Project. You'll hear his take as well.
