Linda has been on a journey of self-discovery and belonging. After being kicked out of the house at 16 for choosing a life-style their parent's weren't happy with, the strength of Linda's community made itself manifest. With a loving and relentless grandmother and a few friends along the way, Linda's path forward became increasingly clearer.
After moving to Thunder Bay to start afresh, it didn't take long before Linda's forever home began its figurative construction. They detail turning to drugs to cope with the sense of not fitting in, and the impact of transitioning on their health and well-being.
