Episode description

Welcome to Fabulous Destinies ! Explore one of the boldest scams of the 20th century, during which a forger and an unscrupulous journalist managed to deceive the entire world. Its name: the fake diaries of Adolf Hitler. Between greed, shady networks, and incredible twists, discover its fascinating story. After World War II, Germany was in the midst of reconstruction. Its political organization, divided between East and West Germany, created a hornet's nest where all sorts of con artists thrived. It's in this context that Konrad Kujau, born in 1938 into a humble family in the Saxony region, grew up. As an adult, Kujau was involved in small-time illicit activities. A natural storyteller, he created new identities for himself and tried to make the most of his artistic talent with a paintbrush. He quickly found his clientele, whom he portrayed in large paintings alongside the heroes of World War II...
