Episode description
In this episode, Fabrice introduces you to a contemporary and controversial figure. As rich as he is charming, as eccentric as he is provocative, he has revolutionized the automotive and aerospace industries. Opinions vary about him, but he remains one of the most influential figures of this decade. His name: Elon Musk. From his challenging childhood to his resounding success, discover his True Story.
An Extraordinary Childhood
Elon Musk was born on June 28, 1971, in Pretoria. His mother, Canadian, was a model turned nutritionist. His father, South African, was an engineer, entrepreneur, and owner of an emerald mine in Zambia. While his peers played soccer in the streets, he built paper rockets and escaped into the world of fantasy and science fiction novels. He was a dreamer, introverted, and diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome - a form of autism without language impairment or intellectual disability. In 1981, computers were just emerging. They were nothing more than black screens and endless lines of code. But that didn't stop young Elon. He locked himself in his room, immersed himself day and night in the reading of complicated manuals, and learned the basics of computer science. Finally, a new world to explore!
