My name is Chad and every single week I'm joined here by Queen of Extreme Francine, who on these flashbacks we go back and look at moments from your career sometimes, which is what we're gonna do today. Oh we are okay, Well,

it's surprise. Another thing I don't know about. You think I would know something since you know I am the star here, but it's okay. Let me know what we're doing. Sometimes we like to perform without Annette. We are going to listen to for the first time ever, not broadcast on our just our Patreon channel, but on Creative Control a watch along, maybe one of our longest ones. But we were joined by a guest for this watch along, one of the only times we had a guests. Jimmy

Wang Yang joined us the watch a matched. He turned out to be in like the seventh row of and you can stay over there and you could see him on the hardcam in every main shot. We're going to see the epic conclusion of Al Snow and the franchise Shane Douglas and what could be Like I said, the longest watch long we've ever done is a franchise. And let me put it this way, a very beat up franchise and Al Snow take each other to the limit

with a little younger out in the crowd, a little younger. Yeah, there was a lot leading up to this night, and I think I discussed like the locker room and what happened back there and the drama. I mean, there was so much going on. But I popped because we I think we have a shot at Jimmy and we like circle him so you can see where he looks so cute. I know, it's just nice to have his perspective, like because at the time he was just a young fan. Yeah, no, he wasn't really, I don't or if he was in

the business, he was very very green. I can't remember if he said he had just started training or he was just a fan, but either way, it was nice to get his perspective and it was a lot of fun. I enjoyed this episode immensely, So, yeah, you give great context to the story of what was going on and basically saving Shane's life during the match and he almost died. Ladies and gentlemen. It's just it's crazy to know what was going on at the time, so that's why this

is really important. But then, yeah, and I think I can't remember because I haven't listened to it since I pulled it. But Jimmy, I think was just about to start training. Okay, now he told the story about coming to ECW while he was at the power plant. I don't think that was it yet because Jimmy and I areund the same age and at this point, I mean, he probably was only sixteen years old, so I think it was just before he started training. But you see him dead Central. I think he said he was wearing

an Austin shirt in the picture. You're funny. Yeah, it's like you never you don't know who's watching you, you know what I mean. It's just like when I was on RAW and then Mikey whipp Brack was like four rows behind me or something. We didn't even know each other, and then a couple of years later we're sharing a locker room the other. You just never know who's wear and who's gonna end up wearing. It's just fun. So I love this episode so much, and we have to

have Jimmy back on. Yeah, Jimmy, he's a trip. He's very funny, he's hilarious. Yeah, I love him. You can't get the smile off his face sometimes. He's always laughing and sail. That's a good thing, that's not a bad thing. So yeah, I think you guys will really enjoy this episode, not just for the content in the ring, but for the stories that led up to it. I live in Ohio, you know, so like they we just went in a three three week curfew again, screw my party bus over. Well, where where's the young Wang Yang head at at this point? And you're wrestling fandom At that moment in time, I

was obsessed. I was crazy. I was I was a super marked so super marked c W or wrestling in general. For everything, I loved WCW, but then that time with ECW, I was getting introduced to ECW and all that kind of stuff. But at that time I watched anything and everything. I loved everything. Like I was. I was a crazy stalker. Like I said, you know, I used to stop ddp's house, but I came to wrestle Palooza five hours early to stand by the guardrail to see everybody walk in and

all that kind of stuff for you. No, I was, Jimmy, I was. I was seventeen, maybe seventeen, okay, because year after that I was in w W. It's crazy, like yeah, so it's like I'm crazy. I went there five hours early. But the story a crazy story about Russell Palooza. One of my football coaches is from Jersey and his sisters was best friends with Sonny Tammy. Okay, so he came to the show too, and we saw our coaches, our football coaches. Hey, coach Sweeney, and then he was he's

our coach. I said, hey, Jimmy, you guys want to come in with us, you know, like what And then he said, oh, my sister went to school with Tammy and their best friends, so you got to go in before everybody else. When yes, but not the workers were in the ring. It was like right before doors came out. So he brings me in there and he goes down to the ring side and Tammy is there with Chris

and I'm like run over there and see Tammy. I'm like, oh, I know you're so much you know, like this is You're the both awesomest person I ever met by so, you know, waiting outside for four hours to see you walk in and Tommy and rv D. I remember rv D was the cool one and couple. Hey, what's something man? You want to picture? Yeah? You know what everybody was gonna say, what something smoking? Yeah? Probably if a six

year old kid, right right? Okay, So I got in there early and I saw Sonny Tammy and I marked out like a little school boy. Yeah yeah, yeah yeah. So I was just like, you know, totally marking out whatever.

So and then we got to the show and then the show started, and but that I just remember, I'm like remember meeting her, and then I didn't know they had like a Legends reunion that night, Like do you remember that they had They had a junk junking No, like an introduction too, like Hall of Fame was like jy D, Yeah we talked about this before, that's right. Yeah, And I was like, oh my god, Jyd, you know, doing the walk. But he came out with like the bust lip. I was like, man, what happened to him?

You know? And years later and I was just talking to Tommy on his podcast a few weeks ago. But he told me to say, Tommy, Hey, you know I was at Wressell Paluza. I was there with my stone cold Steve Austin T shirt like I was in the third row, general mission whatever and got there and I just always wondered why Jyd came out with a busted lip. And he's like, dude, that's this crazy story because because Jyd owed money to New Jack for crack and he

didn't have Johnny, he punched it out. Was is that true? Did you see this or that she didn't remember Jyd was there. We told you about him. We brought him up, like I want to say, like two months ago, and I said, well, he was at w I have a lot of problems in my life. I don't remember things. No, I don't remember that story. He'll remember that altercation in the back or wow over crack money that happened in an alley outside of the building for all Now. I

don't remember that. Oh that's funny, but you know and uh yeah. Also, you know the Common Healthy Civil Civic Center that's kind of like my home, Like I grew up right down the street, so like that's a I don't know why I jumped to that, but I just will tell you how legendary. I think I graduated in that building. Oh wow, yeah now cop County Civic Center,

thirty four hundred in attendance, May third, nineteen ninety eight, Marietta, Georgia. Yeah, and I grew up like right next to there, all Stale, Georgia. You know the picture of a little Jimmy circled wolf forever being hard. Yeah, yeah, you gotta watch it, you see me. Yes, we're gonna We're gonna watch it. Well. See, I was looking for you during the Saboo RVD match because they were all over, so I was trying to peek in and see if I can find you. And

another story about that match. I remember watching that match. They were going and doing all their spots and everything, and Saboo rolled out and all of a sudden, he like puked on the floor. I'm never asking how he is, What's what? What, what's going on? Like, you know, like I'm just a young Jimmy Mark whatever. But I see a guy rolls out and he just barce all over. No, no, no, like you try to go under the apron the high and uh yeah. But I guess he was just not whatever. Whatever,

let's just say something bad. Yeah, yeah, yeah, we all know Sabo that's what he does. What would you have eaten? And how would it have come up so fast? Jimmy, is there are there any stories about me that you remember from this night? Yeah? This this is why my right forearm so, oh my god, that is wrong. Okay, I need to say. I just say I'm right handed, you know, young Jimmy at that age, you know whatever. I don't even know what I wore that night. I

don't even it was a classic. It's a classic outfit. But before I want to read the results. But before I do that, So did you watch e CW Weekly? Did you get it in your neck of the woods? Where were you at with the weekly ECW consumption? Yeah, we got it on like two o'clock in the morning the night something like that. But I was a big tape trader back then, right, you remember you remember tapes. I had to send him a VHS copy. I got one right here something, Yeah, I got it. I'm a

VCR connected to the to the laptop. Jimmy's right on the bay, I do. I can convert anything you want on VHS. It's amazing, but all right, so let me rune down the results quickly. So it's the BW O, Mini and Nova defeat the FBI, Guido and Late Great Tracy Smothers Uh just Incredible defeats Mikey Whipprah, Chris candid On, Landstorm defeat the Hardcore Chair Swinging Freaks, Balls and Axel Bam Bam Bigelow defeats New Jack, Tommy Dreamer and the Sam Man defeat the Dudley Boys. RVD fought Saboo to

a time limit draw. And the main event, the one we came to see the franchise, Shane Douglas defending the ECW Championship against Al Snow. There we go, ooh, I like that. Now I'm gonna share the screen and we

will get to the action. Did you have heads had? No, That's That's what I was about to tell you, Like, like, cause I'm sitting there, you know, I actually really didn't know who else Snow was at that time, Okay, And all of a sudden, I'm sitting there and and this kind of another mark out moment for me, because all of a sudden, all the wrestlers, all the boys started coming out and passing out like those mechanical are the heads?

And I was like, oh crap, dude, that's all you know, that's a little nunsio like let's go Tracy like, uh what was balls? And Axel. I'm like, what are they doing? They're like right here, they just down there, you know, like hang it out with me. I'm like, oh cool. Oh, I was just being a mar I was like, hey, here's a head. You shake it, okay? Oh yeah, shake it? Yeah, yeah, yes, sir, yes, sir. Oh cool. Cool. Ca that's your lot signed the head. I'm not throwing this, yeah, I do. I want to

keep it, you know. So. The video package for this is probably one of the best, I think of the era. It just shows the history of Shane with the title, shows the impact that Al Snow's made and how they're feud has gone to this point. Shane has a promo and then Al Snow has one to follow up. You were not in the promo, he he. He kind of walks off camera and he walks over to uh Candido and Bam bam, and they walk him through the door

and then Al Snows in the stairwell. Here he gives his side of it, but the thing that I didn't really get about this, and Jimmy, this is an interesting thing. They come into the entrance as Shane and Francina are entering the ring, so we don't get to see the full thing that you guys saw in the arena of the full blown Shane and Francine, you know, choreographed greatness. This is all we get. And I was kind of disapp might have been time could have been with the

package like that. I'm sure it was. Yeah, that's what it was. And Shane injured again. Oh I got hit in the head and you got hit already. You got hit with the head I did. Oh yeah, that outfit Okay, I was pissed. I was mad. Shane's like, you need to calm down. You can't even walk. So what do you so, Jimmy said, take us back. So what do I remember about this? I remember? I remember outfit right, he Wow, look at that six sixteen year old Jimmy. It was good, so bad, but it was just so awesome,

so awesome. Because I'd tell you, I didn't know who else now was at that time. You had to be impressed. I'm excited they told you like this, Ball told me to do. That's great, I'm going to be on TV. I want to seen. Yeah. Now for you obviously, with Shane's injury. You see Shane, I call him the Bionic franchise at this side at this time because of how his elbow is just destroyed. So you know, Shane is basically he's done after this. But Al Snow is also

done after this. Now you are you aware of that this night, that OL's that Owl's done after this? You know what. To be honest with you, I don't remember, but I don't think I was. We didn't. People came in and out, you know, you never knew who was going to come in the next week or go out, and we knew we weren't keeping Al, But I just didn't know when he was leaving again, you know what I mean? Yeah, Okay, I am. Can you see me? I think I think I found him. He's right there.

Right, yes, so crazy, Yeah, and honestly, and a year later Shane's and w c W, and then that Tammy came to and I you know, I I talked about this time I met her in w CW and like I say, oh, remember my my coach was Coach Sweeney. His sister's your friend. And then she was there for like a week, her and Chris, and then she got like a week and then yeah, she got fired the week after because she was in the bathroom stuff. Yeah you know that story. Yeah, we

know that story. I'm like, you know, as a fan, you know, I was just so about Sonny and and stuff, and it was first time, like meeting people and then they disappointing when you when you meet when you finally meet them, and then you see this, you know that happens, great man, I now bomber. Yeah, this night, I can't remember if it was this night or the other time that we wrestled UH or Shane wrestled AL, but I know Shane punched a hole through the wall in the

dressing room. Oh yeah, I remember that night, like knew, Jack jumped off the balcony, broke broke his leg and then kicked out the window of the police car during his UH promo. Yeah, and that was also I was like, oh my god, at dude is hardcore? You know love and everything, aren't you? I really was, I really was. Yeah, there you are, I see you, I see you. What do you remember? What do you remember Todd County or Georgia. Do you remember that area? What do you remember about

I don't remember a thing. Where where did you stay? Like did you go to the waffle house? And did you like we probably went to waffle house. I don't remember the hotel. I don't remember anything about my career, Jimmy, I am the worst. I don't remember buildings. The only building I really know is the Arena, and I know Elks Lodge and Queens, and I remember the Florida Building in Fort Lauderdale. But that's yeah right there. And look how quickly I got up with those heels. Mind you,

I was on time with my spots. Now I don't know what the hell I'm doing. And the intensity of it. Yes, I was pissed. That's usually the heels come off when you're going to get involved. I left them on for this. I left them on. They were banana heels. Chad. You ever been down to Atlanta? I have not. I have driven through Georgia, I think twice in my life, but I've never stopped and gone inhere. You know what I

think of, Jimmy, I think hard Times? Oh yeah, right, and this is like the you know, I grew up down the street from here, so did Cody. Cody went to rival school that was right down the street from this place. Roads. Yeah, okay, if you're talking about the Hard Time promo, we're talking about the Hard Time. You're talking about the Big Boss man. Oh yeah, okay, Georgia. Yeah, Okay, yeah, yeah, down, ain't come up? Come on, isn't he like the honorary

like all time mayor of Cobb County, Georgia the song? Yeah, it really is. He really is, you know, like he's the king of Cobb County. I just heard a thing about So here's I just heard a funny thing about the Big boss Man today on a Jim Cornett clip that he left the w w F in nineteen ninety three because he thought Vince mic Man was going to jail and he thought that it was going to kill his gimmick. That as the law and order of the w w F, he didn't do anything about it. Yeah, said,

I don't know, is it a rib? Come on, it's gotta be true. Makes sense if it's in line with the timeline of uh crazy business. He brother. Yeah, wow. So I was about to tell Chad, it's like, what about those Braves baby playoffs? You know, tell you I was rooting for them. I was rooting for them a guy I worked with Bryce Wilson Pitch Game four for you guys, Wait, can I say something? Just say something?

How would you like to take a bump? And you're trying to sell over the garral and eighty people get their heads right in your face, clapping right yeah, the l Yes, that would be so annoying. I'm surprised you'll think it hit them like like like that's not soft either. That would suck the match that we watched with the tag. Shane and I were walking out a couple of weeks ago my entrance. I walk out the curtain, I'm cutting a promo on Sunny Boom right now, face with a

head and I sold it. I just kept talking because I'm not selling for you people. But they hurt. They're very dick styro film. You're throwing chairs in the ring. They're throwing chairs. You're throwing chair you're throwing chairs in Oh yeah, of course I am. But I think I fell on the outside too. Over ahead, it was a mess. There were there were so many, so many out there, and it looks good for TV, but damn it hurt. It looked great for that interest in what's the earthquake doing?

In the front row, By the way, I keep on looking at this guy looks exactly like John Tinted right in the front row. Because also another story because soon after this, because when we was waiting outside to get in, like I remember seeing Chuck Plombo there, because Chuck Plumbo is this huge dude and had the beautiful curly hair, and he's like, dude, that dude has to be a wrestler, Like he has to be here that night. Yeah, yeah, and and and then and then so I went to go mark out

for this nobody that's just a big guy. But it was Chuck Plumbo and I knew he would have had he said, you're a wrestler, So yeah, you all HAVEM a wrestler, you know. But he was at power Plant then like soon after this, I started training and where they were doing the shows on the weekends, the good old days wrestling where I started at the power Plant,

Guys would go wrestle there on Friday nights. He was there wrestling And I started training soon after this, and I said, hey, Jude, I saw you at the Wrestling Plusion, bro, like you remember you remember me right, like as a fan. I don't know if he in the back because I don't remember. See, yeah, I saw him in the I saw him in the general mission line, but then I don't know if he went to the back, so I didn't see him in at this end of show. I

just don't know. I know he didn't work for us, but sorry, he might have been in a back trying to get a job or something, you know, kind of deal or whatever. By the way, that spot just got messed up on a chair and broke it, so we had to use two instead of for just to let you know. Oh is that is that gonna hurt any more or any less? I don't know. I don't know. So now we go back to when Shane punched a hole in the wall. Yeah no, no, not punching, not going back to the story. Okay, yeah it was it

was behind the scenes. Okay, all right, Sorry, sorry, but I can't remember. And I even said it over the weekend because we were talking about one of these shoes.
