Breaking down the all the xs and os. It's Steve Lemon and Jaden Summits. This is I on the Ball on Fox Sports fourteen Fifmy. They welcome back to EI the Ball here on Fox Sports fourteen fifty. Young Steve, He's Jay got our guys, Sammy, this is exactly what this is why, this is why we need, Dammy, this is the why we need It's like two old dudes trying to figure stuff out and we used to change the channel like this, right, let's give this a try. This is

I on the Ball breaking news on Fox Sports fourteen fifty. So we'll go with We'll go with Sammy's first and jump in on any of the Sammy if you want to go with Sammy's thing that he told us about Janni's attend to Kompo, right, yeah, you know said today publicly and I remember to who that because he was asked, you know, do you want to stay with the Milwaukee Bucks, and he said, I'm a winner her first, but you know he said, I'll stay with the Box, but the most

important thing is winning. And he's basically saying I'll go to where I think I can have the best chance of winning. So that's called the Slim Reaper conversations. The Slim Reaper. Yes, that's the that's what's his name in Phoenix, Go with Katie wherever he can go to wine and who he can play with. But that's that's He is a winner. But is he won up there? He won in Milwaukee? Yeah he did, should have too, but but he didn't. But he didn't did or didn't get that first

down? But uh, anyways, so I'll stick with it with with the NBA on this one because this one's really dumb. Dwight Howard, who I think we all is pretty much through as threatened threatened that he's gonna go play for Taiwan if he doesn't get a chance to playing on team you're saying the Olympics. Oh no, we we'll enjoy Taiwan. Yeah, go for it, Hopeby like the food. Knock yourself out. How old is he? Like forty five? He's not forty yet? No, he's not about thirty

eight. Ye, Superman has snuff. But you know, because they're putting the team together, right, they put the band together. Lebron James says he's in Durant. I think is in uh I saw uh Devin Booker said, I remember, I can't remember. Devin Booker said he's in. So you know they're trying to get because you know, they didn't win that. They didn't win the World Championship. Uh uh this recently and so now all these guys say we gotta go win this. So and Dwight Howard thinks he's

one of them. Kind of crazy. Some fallout from the uh, from the Aaron Rodgers injury is that NFL players are being very loud saying we want grass, we want grass. Artificial turf is bad. We know it. You know it's cost effected. Yetta, yea, yetta. Look we're a

rich league. Put in the damn grass. But uh, you know a lot of you know, people saying, I mean, did you there was a slow motion thing of replay of Roger You can see right when it's Achilles pop. How could you see that because you see his calf up kind of yeah, you can see that there was a rupture. Really you can see his calf kind of pop. Today's very slow motion. Uh. You know, he planted his left you know, he was being sacked and he planted

his left foot and he was going down. You can just see the thing pop, that's pretty scientific game. I mean, honestly, come on, you you know, and the and the and the and the and the thinking being that if it had been grass, you know, the turf would have given and he probably he might not have. It was taken taken for him for Rogers to get hurt, not the other dudes, not not the other five hundred guys that are blown acls and everything else. Right, But then

now Aaron Rodgers got hurt. Now and then Roger Goodell is amount and he's claiming that he's heard from a lot of NFL players who love the artificial turf. Well, the argument is this past Super Bowl when it was grass, right, that was it was slipper, biggest thing. But there was a guy, a guy who had done the Super Bowl turf for a bunch of years, who said he knew exactly why it uh, they brought the you know, they'd been watering the turf right because it right, it sat outside

right water water. Well, they had watered it and they didn't let it dry, and they brought it in. It stayed and it stayed slippery, and that that was and it was a new turf, so and it stayed slippery, and he said it was a very simple thing. They just brought the turf in too soon for the game. So anyways, I'm a grass guy. I mean, I think the turf in Arizona Stadium looks cool. Most of the time we're in Arizona. You know, we need grass.

Yeah, it's kind of like a lose lose situation right now. Is because the most recent playing on grass was the Super Bowl. Everyone's like, oh, it's terrible, and now people are getting hurt on the turf. It's they're in a tough situation. Yeah. Anyways, Aaron Rodgers put out a put out I guess I don't know if it was on Instagram or yeah, it was Twitter. It was Instagram. Put out a message thank you to every person that has reached out, called, texted, dm, connected through

a friend, et cetera. It has meant a ton to me and I'll try and get back to all of you soon. Then he's got a little a little emoji in a heart. I'm completely heartbroken, moving through all of the emotions, but deeply touched and humbled by the support and love. Then he's got a little broken heart emoji. Please keep me in your thoughts. And prayers as I begin to heal. As I begin the healing process. Today the night is dark as before the dawn, and I shall rise yet

again proud of my guys one and all. Yeah, what was this contract? For three five thirty five million, two years for two years something like that, or seventy million for it's thirty five million a year? Right, it's a year two heavy? You know that the first he took less money so they could get more guys. Yeah. Yeah, it's not that he's not capable. But we'll see if he comes back and what what percent he's gonna be. Yeah. So, anyways, on Sunday, there's a game

the Rams play the forty nine Ers. It'll mark the first time ever that we've seen a quarterback who was taken number one overall in the NFL draft face a quarterback who was second was selected with the last overall pick. You know, Brock Purdy against uh Jared Gofft. Matt Stafford, right was in the Rams. Matt Stafford goes to show you, I mean, I still like

Purdy, and I always said this. You know, you can give me all the talent, you can give me the Rodgers, but you just give me a dude who wins and who's simple dnks and dunks and get you blah blah blah blah. I'll take that dude the most of the time, I'm tying. We watched, you know, my son's of forty nine stands. We watched the game, you know, in San Diego, and we said, we sat down. I mean, he had it's forty nine a shirt on. He put a forty nine shirt on on my grandkid, and we

sat there and watched the game. And I watched the forty nine ers, you know, expecting to see brock Purty be the last pick of the draft. He was good. Yeah, and I saw that. I saw their defense, and he said, who's gonna beat these guys? Know they're gonna be good. You know they're be good. And he's not flashy. Who's that guy in golf? I don't follow golf? He does. Who's that dude in golf? The solid yea man, there's so many feel like a like a Xander Shood. I love Makawa. The other guy, I mean,

Brian Harmon. I think that's a perfect example right now. He just won the he just won the Open, the British Open, so he'll come up every now and again. But he's got dude that kind of just whittles away washing Flashy doesn't hit the ball a million yards off the tea. He has great, great short game and he puts the hell out of the ball. And what else do you need in golf? Exactly? Victor Hoblin. Oh yeah, he just won the Tour championship. But he's he's young,

he's twenty five. He hits the ball, he has every shot. Yeah, but not you just kind of he's just a happy go like, yeah, I've just been a place. Well I love those dudes because I was one of those dudes. Skinny skinny, just do the job, just to the job. Yeah. So but anyway, but I you know, I watched him. I thought, I don't know who's gonna beat those guys, And again I had I had the feelers running back. I had Naji Harrison that game and he scored like three points. So it's just stuffed. Is

there something else you'll need to know? Every guy, he's the kod of this room. He's he don't don't to put money on you because you lose, lose, So anything that he picks or guess who had Rogers in their fantasy camp. Oh yeah, that's just one of the minutes that we've had to talk about the show. Fair So, so if he drafts someone in a fantasy league, take anyone else. Yeah, are your baseball fan? Yeah, team diame Max. I'm born and raised Phoenix, so any okay,

all right, I can respect that. That's why coming here. Didn't come from somewhere else to becoming Right, that's okay, You're okay, we're fighting. You pass, you pass? Speaking of that, a former diamondback Max Surez. Yeah, out for the year, right, another big contract, dude. Well, Darren Ravel posted that Max chers have made ten million dollars this year, So it comes out to either two hundred and twenty two thousand dollars an inning because he only pitched forty five innings or two and a

half million dollars per win because he only won four games. Out Yeah, out Blinder the other day pitched a pitch to Needle Berlinder. He got crushed. Yeah, crushed. It's kind of like the next wave of Cy Young great pictures are kind of coming up and lander although those guys are Yeah, they'll put together a good game here and there, but it's it's more of Clayton Kershaw. Yeah, he seems timeless, but again he's on his way out too. You got the young guys. He's not the dominating guy that

clearly. You know. He'll go out there, he'll give you he'll give you six or seven innings, but he might give up four runs and yeah, score some runs for some runs for him to win. Yeah. And then getting back to this thing with Jody Ayler was really funny. He posted a whole piece for that kind of a rant that he had about how the son you know, ASU didn't think it was a huge risk to go get a guy like Herm Edwards, but they thought it was too much of a

risk to go to go out and get a guy like Dion Sanders. And now look what they're missing. So I thought that was very funny. Hey, Arizona Baseball had our friend Jay Dobbins go talk to their team. I'll give him a little motivational talk here during summer ball. There's there's some pictures of Jay had on backwards. He's still got the gray, uh, the gray little I don't know. I don't even know what you call that thing underneath his gin. I used to call call him, you know, because

my son has one of those, I call it his dust bunny. But Jay Dobbins, he's got that great story of being you know, embedded with the Hell's Angels and all that kind of stuff. So went and gave it, gave a talk his pictures of the guys, and they looked pretty fascinated by, uh by his talk. But have you have you ever heard him do uh, you know, an actually talking about his experience. Yeah,

they're very good, Yeah, very good. It's incredible. He did one that uh, one of the Arizona Bowl luncheons, and uh, it's it's kind of amazing. But uh, you know, he's got quite a history. But I wonder, you know, I still wonder why he decided to step away from, uh from coaching football, coaching high school football. Well, he's he's still coaching. He's an assistant coach at UH to one of the school one of the schools. He's an assistant coach. I know this

because we were we were out at some points the other day. Right. Uh, maybe how of you, if you're listening to can send me where he's out because he's he's coaching. Oh I didn't know that he's an assistant coach, who's who's the one that had the Steve guy is a guy Steve who's had a big big assistant coaches kaire A kir coach KR. I'll get it, I'll get all right. No, I I didn't. I didn't

know. I did. I don't know if he was just out there messing around on his uh on his law enforcement retirement or what the deal is, but uh no, it's anyways, he's just a fascinating guy. He really is beyond the you know, being a coach and beyond being a football player, just the life that he's had in the career that he's had. And uh, you know, he loves you know, he loves getting out there. And I'm telling people about you know, just being very much motivation about

that. Yeah, no question. And he has that he's he's charismatic, he's comes on the show, he has all these sayings. You know, it's hard enough to like him. Yeah, yeah, all right, That's all that's all I got, Steve. Okay, you came up with the Scherzure thing. Uh, I guess the NBA board. Okay, some kind of testing policy I saw on the ESPN. I'm not sure if it's drugs.

Well, and you know, there's there's a lot of discussion that with this, with this thing with Michael Porter, that is they're saying that Kevin Porter, that they have got to they've got to do something at the at the NBA level about you know, a domestic violence like they're saying, they just gotta be a no tolerance policy. You get caught, you're done, You're you're out of the league. Like that. That's tough. It is

tough. I'm not saying that's tough bad or tough good. It's just tough with all these rules and laws and and but again, Steve, and I've always I've always held this opinion about this. You're in the NBA, you're in the NFL, you're Major League Baseball, whatever, whatever you're doing wherever you're making money playing a game. That's a privilege. And your standard I don't disagree it has to be higher. Your standard has to be higher than

yours or mine. I don't disagree that. One thing is you're getting paid a lot of money. Yeah, and you should lose that privilege to do that if you do thing. First of all, I have a problem with people getting paid thirty five million dollars a year for anything, for anything, They're not saving a life. But that's just me what I know. But I've always felt that that that you get you get held to a higher standard and you don't you don't get to mess up as much as the rest of

us get to mess up. If you're getting the privilege. No, if you were not that dude somewhere in a hospital or something gets which you're done right, Yeah, exactly, So I don't know, I don't know what what you do there. All right, let's take a break, We're gon come back. We're gonna have West Johnson. We're gonna talk a little bit about Arizona women's triathlon. Hey, welcome back to on the Volcano, Fox Spots forteen fifty. I'm Steve Rivera, He's Jay Ganzloss. Now on the phone, we have West Johnson, the University of Arizona Wildcats triathlon coach. Wes. How are you doing it? Doing great? Yeah? Thanks for having me on. We got tired of seeing triathlon because there's just too much, two things to

do with that triathlon. You must love it, You've done it most of your life. I see, Yeah, yeah, I was. I really enjoyed it up through college, but I thought my main sport was swimming of the swimmer for University of Utah and then transitions racing at a high level out of college. But then I had a lot of injuries and stuff from not running enough growing up and kind of a blow weakbone density, just too much swimming and non impact sports and so then so I got into coaching really young

and early, and now I've been been just never looked back. So it's kind of been coaching full time for a long time now. So well, you know, we've heard of triathlon, you know, for years. You know, then the competitions and you know worldwide competition is that typen thing. But now it's at the college level. It tell us a little bit about how this thing is, uh is you know taking hold around. It has taken hold as I see a she's won the national championship six times. So

it's been around for a while. But you know, how how big of a sport is it at the college level. You know, it's getting it's still an emerging sport at the college level, but it's it's it's really picking up. To make it an official sport US, there has to be at least over forty schools for for like a three year period, and I think they're they're they're around forty three schools right now, so I think once we

complete this next season, they're looking into making it. Feeling to that next level where it'll be ran by NC double in instead of ran by USA Traflon. So so they're in that phase right now. But it's yeah, adding adding Arizona was a huge ad who one of you know, one of the big schools. So there's a few other big schools, you know at a SU This will be TCUs first season. Uh, Denver's a big school,

San Francisco, So it's it's it's just growing. And now that we're in the Big twelve, we're hoping that we can get some other Big twelve schools in it as well. I think Colorado would be a big one. That their club program is just dominant in the country, so they we're hoping they add and then see what other Big twelve schools we can convince. So when the opening came up down here, what did you think, here's my chance or a great opportunity? What were you thinking? Was it scary? You

know? I never I've been working more for like the US Olympic team and for the last while, and so it wasn't really too much on my radar. But then when I saw the announcement in Susan and I've been coming here for winters for years for training camp with professional squads of athletes, and so I fall in love with Tucson And when I when I saw it announced, I was almost like trying to convince myself, said it, but you know, oh, stop worried about that, that's not something you want to do.

Then as I looked more into it, I could not take my mind off of it, and I started looking into it more and it's just, you know, after I went through the interview process, I realized, like, you know, what I'm doing with athletes trying to get to the Olympics at the top level, it can be done through in c double A and the support from the school is one percent there, you know, with with that vision as well, and they have you know, a pretty good legacy

of Olympians here at the UFA. So it aligned is really well with with my vision and what the goals were of you know how I'm trying to get athletes at that level and and I think because of that, we're able to really bring some of the top athletes from all over the world from who are trying to get to the Olympic level to they're they're all very interested in coming. So so I think it's happening, and we're probably going to see some

athletes in the LA Olympics and twenty eight coming from this program. Okay, so you take that, you take this job, and you're starting a program. You know, how do you start from scratch? You know, what are the first You got to go get a coaching staff, right, and then you gotta start getting players. But how do you go about doing that and convincing people to come to a program like this that's brand new? And what's your selling point? Yeah? The selling point is partly you know,

my experience working in within the Olympics side of things. As I'm you know, talking with all these international athletes. I've gone to several different international competitions, including World Championships next week in Spain. I've went to the Junior World Championships in Hamburg, Germany, and several other international competitions where it is such

a bigger sport than Europe. So I was really heavily recruiting out of Europe, and you know, some of them there, their worry was, you know, why would we want to go to the US when it's such a bigger sport in Europe and the best of US athletes are coming to Europe anyway, so why would we want to go there? But sharing within my vision, my experience in the Olympics movement and and you know, and also just everything that Towson has to offer from cycling to to running and facilities u of

A has and support u of A has. You know, they've all all the pretty much everyone has been very, very interested, and we're bringing some of the best athletes in the world on recruiting visits and having conversations daily with some of the best junior tr athletes in the world, and a lot of them are from outside of the US, so we're that's kind of, you know, been the vision and how I'm recruiting is you know, explaining that

MC does delay can be a pathway towards the Olympics, and and that's that's what I'm using too to talk with these athletes and and work with the athletes that we have here right now. It's proving to be true. These we have some incredible squad here right now and we're started. The first priority as we started this program is building a stronghold. We've mentioned to them every single

day what's the most important this season is not winning. What's the most important thing this season is building in a culture of success and environment a staff support with a from athlete to athlete of a team first mentality, and that's what we're seeing. So it's just really really exciting what we're building and the support of the athletes are are, how they're supporting each other and they're just it feels like a family, and it's from all the professor, all the squads

that coached over the years. This is really unique what we're building here and super exciting to me. So, coach, you're talking to two old dudes, older reporters. Uh, you know, we were meeting potatoes. Guys. We cover football, basketball, baseball. We see the talent pool in those things at youth levels and high school levels. Obviously, what's the talent pool like in this where you probably have good cyclists, okay, swimmers, okay runners or maybe all the above. You know you have you have to

be good in all three. Yeah, it's it's it's it's changing a little bit where more and more trafthletes are growing up doing traff one since they're seven eight years old. So it's it's especially in Europe and outside of the country. It's something they do for their whole life. However, there are different ways to recruit and we've we've found we've found a girl here at the University of Arizona who's a swimmer, but she also just did a little bit of

running in high school. So we've we're looking at some of the talent and some potential. We're able to just find some unique individuals. And this one swimmer that we found from the swimming program here at the u of A. She she's just absolutely incredible and could could be an Olympian. She had no idea that this was even a possibility, you know, two years ago or

one year ago. So so yeah, we at that the high school level, it's not really like a high school sport, but it's a club sport for youth and juniors, and then internationally it's it's to sport for clubs all over the world that it's actually much bigger outside of the outside of the US.

I went to the Junior World Championships in Hamburg and never half a million spectators on the street supporting, hearing, sharing these athletes on in a huge, major city and it is just a mainstream sport just like football is here, you know, Cycling and traveling there is is just huge. So, you know, so that's what we're we're we're recruiting out there. However,

there are some really good talent coming out of US as well. I'm just not quite as much depths, but a couple of the best Americans it's just verbally committed to come here as well. So so we're looking yeah, flicking, promising, and we want a good mix of We want to make sure we're having some strong Americans. But what our standard is is higher than just finding the Americans. We want to go for the best in the world. So that's what we're shooting for. So you might want to have Tommy Lloyd

recruit for you too. I guess you guys bring all the international players. Yeah, exactly, so so coach, Uh, you know, I saw that you guys had your first ever meet you you you went up there a meet hosted by ASU finished second in the meat as US. Sounds like they're a you know, well, any one of the top top programs in this sport. What what were your expectations going into that? And then where do you where do they sit now? Yeah? Yeah, it was interesting going

into that. There was a lot of unknown expectations, honestly, but it was it was. It was also a little different of a format. It

wasn't at normal traffln. It was a bike run in the morning relay format, so they do bike run and then tag off to their teammate and then bike run again and tag off and then then two hours later we had a swim competition in the pool, so so it was a little different, but and we we got basically it's hard to explain how it all find out panned out, but we we if we were four second we got outbeat on at the end of the bike run. They caught us in past debts and about

beat us about four seconds. We beat them pretty handily on the swim, And so how it all played out, If we're about four seconds fast, we would have beat the team from this we would be AFU, who's like undefeated pretty much in seven years. So we're I'm hot, I'm super happy with where we're at, and and you know, going into this next competition, you know it'll be the first opportunity to kind of see all the teams.

So almost all the teams are going to be there that are going to be at the national Championships, So We're going to see kind of how athletes their teams are playing their cards and and opportunity for us to play ours a

little bit and practice some strategies. There is a lot of strategy that people may not realize in traff one and this style of traff one, because there's it's peloton style riding on the bike, so drafting on the bike and on the swim and so we have some really strong swim bikers and so we can break away together and that's that's a strategy to work together as a team.

And it's all about the team, so that we try to support the fastest runner in the group by working the least amount on the bike and just sitting in the draft and then letting that athlete just go and try to win a run. So there's a lot of different strategies that we can try, and this is a good opportunity if we can just put that of practice. So you kind of said some some of the things I was gonna ask, how do you train for this? I mean, you just here's the bike boat.

What does a practice look like? Right? Is it a workout or is it a practice? You could call it either. It's you know, there's a since it's an out about an hour long race, there's a huge aerobic component to it, so we need we do need a lot of just

aerobic training, but there's a lot of skill to it as well. It's riding in a group format, group pack pack riding, going around turns one eighties ninety degree turns, transitioning fast into the you know, off they mount their bikes and they jump on their bikes, they can see their feet in their shoes. There's just there's a lot of little skills like that to it.

So we're doing a lot of every week, we're doing a lot of skills, just building those those fundamentals and those skills and also you know, working in some speed. But you know, out of the twenty hours a week we're allowed to train, you know, eighty percent of that is is pretty easy in aerobic just because it is an hour long sport. We're not training for like a four hundred meter on the track. You know, it's

an hour plus long event. So a lot of our training is aerobic training, just swimming, biking and running, and then we work in skills and you know, we take out all the lane lines sometimes for to practice like Lake type swimming and pack swimming and going around boy's fast. You know, it's like a full content sport. You're going around booie and just fighting against everybody. Okay, we have to practice the skill of that. So we

take all all the lame mind and practice that. We set up a transition outside of the pool with you know, with with their bikes, so they run through the whole twin. They run to their bikes, grab their bikes, jump on their bikes, to their feet in their shoes and so these are all little skills that we're trying to just stay by day to put together and improve. Got So I'm looking at your schedule. You've got basically four

meats. You've got the ASU meat that you just had, you all them coming up Saturday in Fort Worth. I guess is mostly by TCU rites, that's what you said. Then you've got a regional and then the national Championships. Is that going to be the schedule going forward? Will you have more meets in the future, will you host something? How do you see this developing as as the as the program establishers, Yeah, yeah, we're there.

We have four NCAA races, but we also we have two athletes going to the World Championships next week, and so so we do end up having some more events on the where they're representing their national federations trying to get farther parlym big points. So I am going to Spain next week with two of our athletes, So we do there are some more events in there that aren't

on the end of the light schedule for some of them. But next year it's looking like we are going to have a home event most likely, and it'll probably we're shooting at least be us A a SU but we're shooting to try to make it like a big twelve conference thing with adding TCU to it too, so and be really fun format and it's a really spectator friendly for it because you're basically, you know, doing a lot of laughs on the

bike and the run. And so what we would probably do is is swimming the pool with Louise kind of like a late type format because we can make this pool really big, and then it would do laughed bikes in the in the mall here in the university, just around in the around the grafs field, so they would you know, on the road, you know what I'm talking about. The mall off campus, so they would do laped bike in there and then lap running there just dead center of campus on probably like on

a Friday. So so it would be really really fun formats to get the city and students involved and and just you know, just have a dead center of campus. So that's that's the goal. To have that early probably next year in September. So that's that's what we're shooting for. Still got to work through some things to confirm that and make that all happen. But yeah, it's going to be exciting and beach here. Yeah, we'll probably have more events than we do this year. Okay, all right, coach,

nice coach, very very fun, fascinating stuff. So you know, best best of luck and luck this week and uh, you know going forward, it's it's a fascinating sport. And as you said, no spectator friendly and more and more people get involved in this. How many how many scholarships you get? Six point five? Okay, right, yeah, big point five? So yeah, and the nice things. All these athletes are really driven and smart, so a lot of them come with you know, some academics

scholarships as well, pretty much all of them. So so we're we're able to spread those songship stop pretty well. Thanks coach, very good, Thanks a bunch of coach, appreciate it. Good luck this weekend. Cool different tryathl Come on, not any I mean not anything I ever thought about doing. You've done like you. You've done one, You've done that. Terms at sportsbook dot Draft Kings dot com slash football terms anyways, Arizona minus eighteen. I said twenty four to begin with. Seventeen was the first one it open. I think that's way too little, way too little, especially when you consider when you TEMP lost like thirty eight to seven to the Northwestern to a

bad Northwestern team last week. Does that mean that Vegas doesn't know how bad you temp is or doesn't have a gauge on Arizona. Vegas knows everything. Yeah, but you don't see that's kind of a strange. Maybe you'll probably end up at eighteen and a half, but you know, it just seems it is like a weird number to me. Yeah, yeah, I don't

know, like a too short number. The only thing I do know is that they know yea, you know you look at the points where you say that can't be right, and then yeah, right, then it's right. That's exactly what I said. Said. In fact, I said that to eleven. I said, give me a guess on the number, and he said, yeah, more than twenty yeah, B two yeah eighteen? Uh Colorado? Who the play Colorado State? Uh twenty something, twenty two, twenty three and a half. You're touching that? No, no, you're

not touching that. Noys the game it's it's in Denver, it's they played they played at the at the Bronx. I don't touch it's really touching the rivalry game. That's that's not gonna. I did like Colorado last weekend. You know that that was my best bet. I know. I hate you, I hate you bad. Uh Washington, Michigan, Michigan State, Watchington,

Okay, washing Michigan State. I think I think then I said, I think that was sixteen sixteen for Washington, Washington giving sixteen sixteen on the road, rights to be on the road, to be on the road. And look, Michigan State's got players. Yeah right, they might even have a better coach. And I say that reluctantly given that the head coach is gone for now. Ye right, and they can play tough for the assistant coach. Yeah, it's a game that there's too many a stiff to work.

Well, I like, I like, I said, I think that's a game you don't touch just because you don't know the emotion of the game. Well, there's a stat I saw. This is last year, but a lot of a lot of head coach firings last year, and the week after they fired their head coach they did well, No, only two wins. Wins are well, I know we're talking covered, we're talking covered again. We don't care about it. Damn that's true, but something really but

they're probably getn't lose anyway. Sure, and if and if the coach is fired, that means the team is not very good. Right, So there's factors. Okay, okay, you saw Texas the name got beat last week? Yeah yeah, I think ire giving thirty six to Louisiana Monroe. No, neither, that's Toots who they Lucy last week? You man? Yeah Miami, Oh that was in Miami. That was right, because he didn't

have to leave in Miami. Yeah yeah, yeah yeah. What about what about the coach man he's he hasn't done well there, jimbo Jim, Well, his buiout is like a four hundred million dollars or something like that. And he had his guy, he had his guy, the offensive coordinate or DEFENSEI cordinat uh the controversial. Yeah that guy you free No, no, Patrino, patriot him, he's yeah, exactly, it's like two that yeah, okay, Oregon State giving twenty four and I have to San Diego State.

That's at Oregon State. That's yeah, that's a good jay. I don't know. I don't know because I took I took UCLA over send you say, and you kind of gave me the guy or the steam guy whatever that is. Steak guys. Big guy is a thing that I don't want to get either get when you're like four years old. You get it when you had the steak guy, I don't. I don't know. That's because I thought you Shelley would cover when they did, and they did. I

just don't think they send to your states. The tina used to be my son. My son ripped on my daughter for taking for taking uh uh ucla and that, and then they covered. Yeah, I liked it, and then they cover. Oh here's the thing I was hearing. Indiana and Louisville are playing in. It's sort of a neutral side game. It's it's at

the Cult Stadium in Indianapolis. But they were supposed to have a home and home after that, and Indiana has canceled it and specifically said they're canceling it because they want to play FCS opponents in that in that slot to get get a win instead of playing a game against the quality opponents. Like, what the hell it's called the son Miller approach iguenie? Did you get Yes? I heard you, the shot Miller approach, big true, big chant wheenies.

But that one's by U Arkansas. What do you think he's good? What's the what's the press? Arkansas eight and a half at Arkansas. It's a road game. Tread lightly. I don't know. You like pig point spreads? Yeah, I don't care about the spread. What do you mean? I don't care. I don't care if it's a big if it's a good number, I like I better. I don't care if it's thirty five or ten or whatever. I just okay, Michigan give him forty and a half to three. No, that's too much. Do they have the coach

back? No, the two more games without him, they might do continue they're done. Well. I guess he. I guess he came out and said what he did yet on Saturday, you know, because he stayed home, right, I guess he said. He went to mode the lawn and then they watched the first half, went to McDonald's at halftime. Then he went and mode the rest of the lawn after the game. So he found out what it's gonna be like when he's not coaching exact and he's probably on

the phone too. Yeah, this spread not supposed to be If he is breaking the rule, he's going to get another number two? All right? Uh? Oh? The backyard brawl Pittsburgh and West Virginia. Is that West Virginia. I don't want to go to the back yard ugly game. Yeah that's gonna be yeah, because Pittsburgh was supposed to better than what it is. Yeah, that game last year was fantastic. Don't make me watch it. No, No, that game last year was unbelievable. Last second pick

six, that's right, right right, it was crazy. Do you want you guys see the bad beats on this week? It was a really bad a scoop and score in a game to flip us. Well, that was organ. Oregan was the team. That's what it was. It was no organ on the interception, but they got a pick pick six. They were not covering, right, they were not covering. They got to pick six

and cover. But then there was a scoop and score. Yeah fumble uh and and and score okay uh. Texas huge win last week, right, giving twenty eight and a half to Wyoming at Texas twenty eight and a half. Wow, the flattened alp for you know, beat Texas Tech. Yes, they did, they did, and Texas Tech was pretty good against Utah. Yeah, Oregon Oregon. Okay, we know those seems. I don't know. That's a tough. That's a tough number twenty eight, twenty and

a half, twenty eight and the hook. No, the key to your thing is you got to find those gems somewhere in there. Oregon giving thirty eight to Hawaii at Sexy Games this weekend. There's there's nothing, so there's nothing. Those are the best games ASU getting getting three its Resno State at ASU. Yeah, they don't didn't score, they can't score. We talked about this yesterday, right with a quarterback, Uh yeah, we're yeah. Well jo Jody was saying, what the hell are you doing? Right?

You know? Yeah, go with the go with the go with the veteran, the brock guy bar Gay no, no, no, no no for San Francisco, the quarterback from Mariowa State, Oh Brock Purty. Go with the brock purdy guy who's gonna steady get you to win, rather than the flashy, flashy guy who's gonna may not get you. They may or may not get you anything. Greg Hands was talking about Brent Brandon, who's the Sandals. They state they're seven point underdogs due Toledo next on Saturday. Right

there, Tennessee plays Florida, isn't it's not bad? Spread there Tennessee, Tennessee six and a half. Isn't that? Is that the world's greatest? No, it's Georgia ten It's Georgia Tennessee. Where's that game out? It's in Florid, Florida. You had to be in Florida. Then Florida, Florida getting six and a half at home. The best best spread of the week, though, is LSU minus nine and a half at Mimissippi State. If we don't think I don't think this state. Who's that? Who's that

Missy State? We watched it. It's the same spread as Arizona. Right, Yeah, but ls used getting get alice US. Yeah, yeah, that's not that's not a whole lot of points point. Oh, thanks for that. Like, yeah, Penn State Illinois, you know, Penn State give four and add Illinois. This is this is coming to an end, thankfully. All right, man, give you lots of stuff to work on for tomorrow's Yeah, what are you gonna do? Man? All right, we will be back tomorrow. Johnny of Vello, the director of the sports

book operations for Draft King sports Book. We'll be here tomorrow to uh, you know, kind of give us a you know, phill Us in on some of the stuff going around going on around draft King. You don't know about crowns. Have you found out what crowns are? Brow crowns on our on our on our account. I have no idea. Who do we need to do with that? I don't know. Tomorrow, Yeah, maybe maybe

we do that. And so he'll be with us tomorrow, we'll bring we'll bring in another game and then uh, we'll have our picks tomorrow because I'll be out again on Friday, some personal business gotta take care of. And so we hopefully'll be here tomorrow and check us all out. We'll be we'll be back tomorrow. You are a Telly. You
