Breaking down all the exs and os. It's Steve Rivera and Jaden Summits. This is I on the Ball on Fox Sports fourteen fifty. They welcome back to On the Ball. You gonna Fox More fourteen fifteen on Steve Rivera chisos because Jay has some breaking news. This is I on the Ball breaking news on Fox Sports fourteen fifteen. You know, it's one of those days where there's all kinds of different stuff, so it's like, you don't know where

to start with all this. But let me let me get this one out of the way because it's a kind of a tough situation that we talked about a while back. But the soccer Federation president Luise Rubillez, who's the one that kissed the soccer player and caused a big uproar, apparently he is stepping down after the after FIFA opened a disciplinary case against him, So he is gone. People are still pissed and they're saying, you can't do that, and so he he is losing his job over there. Who well, he

is out of here. The spontaneous movement moment that cost him his job. Yeah, of course, you know, I went. You know what, I'm not gonna add any more to that. Yeah, I know it is what it is. He can't do that. He did it. He's losing his job. That's what it goes. Andy Anfield, in an interview with Jeff Goodman today, said that Bronnie James uh is. He says we're hopeful that he will be on the court at some point this season. He said

he was playing extremely well before the issue with his heart. He said that our top concern is his health. But he's saying they're hoping he'll get on the court before the season is over and you know, get a chance to play and show what he can do, which is, uh, you know

that's I mean, of course that's what you hope, right. Shohyotani has torn his Ulmer collateral ligament in his pitching arm and is probably gonna undergo Tommy John surgery, which but I didn't No, it's gonna be his second and that they say the second one is harder to recover from the first one, which makes all the sense in the world, but I didn't one. What makes him what this is a dumb question. What makes him so special?

And I say that with all due respect, it's not a Christmas because either he's he's a fantastic hitter, right, we know that, and he's a pretty good picture. I don't even know where I'm going. He's pure so so so if he's a give me a ten, he's a different talent, so of course generational, but okay, hitter, he's a nine out of ten. He's a nine out of ten. Yeah, probably nine and a half out of okay, so what is the picture. He's probably a nine

out of ten. So this doesn't happen very well. Right, you don't get guys like and I didn't even know what I was gonna ask you. But but he'll be all right because he doesn't have to pitch, right, he's still gonna be the phenomenal pitter in the end. Yeah, but but

you know why he is, why he is who he is. Correct, And they're not saying he's not gonna be able to again, but they're saying, if he does the surgery, if he has to have the Tommy John surgery, which sounds like he does at this point in the year, he's not gonna pitch or play all of next year because you can't be he can't hit either. Yeah, I mean, if you've had Tommy John surgery. You can't you know, you can't move you now. They're saying that he

might just not pitch the rest of this year and continue to hit. But they're saying, he's you know, if if the angels are out of it, go get the dang surgery so you can come back sooner, you know, Or if you're gonna take the whole year up, you know, don't wait two months to get this. So doesn't he his contract is up now, right this year? So you're gonna buy a guy who's not gonna play

next ye job. That's that's that's one of the interesting aspects of that they're talking about what's happened with him is that, Okay, how does this affect the you know, his uh, his projects for a contract? You know? Are you are you gonna pay six hundred million dollars for a guy that ye're not one hundred percent sure you can still pitch? Right? You know? Well, the thing is show you paining him to pitch, or you paint him to hit, or you pay him. You're paying him for both.

You're paying to both because on top of pain, on top of him being a really good in both all the things that come with it, you know, the marketing, the the attention to team of course, you know the fans that come to your games, you know, show the Showyo tiny thing is more than he's a really good pitcher and a really good hitter. He's you know, he's bringing you know, in the in the entire uh

you know, Japanese fan base to your to your to your team. So you know, it's it is going to be really interesting to see what's gonna happen. You know, he still might get it, but they're saying it's you know, you know, he he won't be on the mound that you know all of twenty twenty four. He may be able to hit, but again you just don't know. So they having one hundred percent side he's gonna have this surgery, but they're saying it looks like it they've done an MRI

and he does have a tear in his pitching. So that is just way too bad. Yeah, I mean, just the bad breaks keep coming for for both for the Angels and now for showhy Okay, let me see, Okay, here's a funny one. Year's a good one. Jim Harbaugh, who we who we remember? He's he they've self imposed a three game suspension for him here at the start of the year. They're gonna play East Carolina, Bowling Green, and UNLV in those three So you said that coach,

well, he is. He is assigned one of his a different assistant to coach each game, and in the UNLV game, one assistant is gonna coach the fort be the head coach for the first half, one for the second half. So the way he's laid it out, the defensive coordinator, Jesse Mentor, is gonna coach be the head coach for the opener against East Carolina. The offensive coordinator and who's also the offensive line coach, Jerome Moore,

he's gonna coach be the head coach for the Bowling Green game. And then the special teams coordinator and safety's coach at Jay Harbaugh, who is his son, is going to kindle the first half of the UNLV game. And then Mike Hart, who's the run game coordinator and the running backs coach coaches second half, be the head coach, and second half of the UNLV game. So you you get a head coaching job, and you get a head coaching job. His quote is, I'm certain that all will be impressed with the

four coaches ability to direct and manage a game. It's been well documented that we have very a very talented coaching staff, and I believe that all ten assistants will be head coaches and then near future. They are all capable of leading the team at an elite level. I know that everyone will handle the responsibilities and our players would be the best version of themselves on and off the field this fall and beyond. Sounds funny that, you know what, That'll

be a fun topic of conversation on on game day and stuff. So there you go. All right. The production company that that did the did the blind Side, and that the pictures getting a raw deal, they called it. They call him the story in the movie verifiably authentic. That's those are the quotes, and that's saying that the loss that Mike Lawer's lawsuit against the two family is quote causing many to quote unfairly pick apart the movie. You

know, it's it's from all sides. Everybody has their advantages of disadvantages. Did you read? Oh God, if I just knew names, I'll remember the fox guy fox guy controversial he no, no, no, he. A lot of people are defending the family because here was this guy who had nothing, he brought him in. I have no idea to watch the movie. I don't really don't know, but I've been reading a lot about it,

and both sides have their cases. Yeah. Well, and then they've said about Michael Lawer that the part that the part that the movie misconstrues is that he was already a five star recruit, you know, in his junior year. He didn't come out of nowhere because his family took him in and

got him into this school. In fact, he was already going to the school, the private school that the family got him into, because he was on scholarships and stuff, so stuff like that that they're saying it made it look like the family basically saved his life, you know, when he really had some things going for him already, and he was probably going to go to Mississippi already, so, you know, because because he had a relationship

with Hugh Freeze at the time. But the story goes on to say that the production company paid says approximately seven hundred sixty seven thousand dollars to the talent agency that represents the family and Michael Oher and as far as they know, everybody's got what their share was supposed to be, so they're like, they're just upset that it's it's making the movie look bad. So there you go.

Cardinals have traded some guys. A former first round pick, Isaiah Simmons has been traded to the Giants for a seventh round draft pick in next year's draft. So he was a first round pick and all they got for him was a seventh And then they also traded a backup tackle, oh gosh, darn it, Josh Jones, and he got sent to the to the Texas. But Cardinal's making some moves on their lines as you get closer to the

start of the season. They also uh uh made a trade for Josh Dobbs, a backup quarterback uh from the Browns, to add to their quarterback mix, which it looks like going to start the season with Colt McCoy as the starting Good luck for now he's in the mix of quarterback. Yeah, and

let's see what else. The Falcons have named starters at quarterback Desmond Ritter, at running back Bijeon both Beijean Robinson, a wide receiver, Drake London, the kid from from usc who if you call that game with Arizona two years ago was just tearing him apart. And then he blew out his knee in the middle of the game, and then a tight end Kyle Pitt so be Vijan. It looks like he's going to be the starter in Atlanta, not surprisingly, and then you'll be shocked by this one. St shocked, I'm

telling you, easy, Desert swarm ran a pole. If Arizona will get to the five wins over under five wins, try and gets the percentage of Arizona fans that said they get over five. Oh here, now you're still not of course, your call is coming from inside the room. Come on, the calls coming from of course you talked about who were the ten percent that didn't pick up? Eight percent said they get exactly five wins and three percent said they go under. That's why, that's why if this this questionnaire

was putting Waco sextures, it'd be like four percent. Of course, it's all where you're calling from. That's funny. Who are you vote for? What are you calling from? Two? So they'll get seven. But it's Jake Fisher calling a few times? All right? Uh okay, Not that it matters to most people, but it matters to me. The Dodgers just finished UH, taking the last two games against the against the Indian at the end of the Guardians, sorry about that. They their game got suspended after

three innings last night. They finished it this morning. They win. They win both and then they won the second half today. So there they went two and one in their series against against the Indians and off to good start on the road. That's a local. That's a local AUDI boy for you, seriously, man. And they go to Boston tomorrow. They got a three game set with Boston that starts tomorrow. So a lot of fun doctors still turn it up in the UH in the month of August. They are

now nineteen and three in August. That's a crazy number. Yeah, that's a crazy, crazy number to be nineteen and three UH in the month. So okay, that's all. I got. What you got, I don't have very much. I kind of didn't look because I was hoping you'd get us through the whole I got. I got most of the whole thing.

You saw that. You saw that DeAndre I think played well with the team that he was, you know, trying to get the team with the Bahamas he has a new found of life inside the basketball world because he played pretty well. I hope so. And I look at you know, I don't think DeAndre is a bad guy. No, he's not a bad but I'm a little you know, just kind of okay. He had his one year here and he was never really committed to being here, and we saw how it all ended, you know, that one year. But damn, he's

a really good basketball player. And one of the things that you know, it does get me is that he's so good, yet he doesn't seem to put everything into it all the time. No, let me see, Jay, we've covered these guys. Let me say this, and I'll start from a guy. I'll start from a guy that we all knew back in the day. I think you're out of the business, right. Brian Williams fantastic athlete, could run the court with anybody. Blue thought. He was one

of the better athletes he's ever had. He just didn't care too much about basketball. He was a big dude who played basketball very well. Up and Stokes. We kind of saw him do big dude who played basketball because well, he was a big dude. We've set because he had almost because he had to know perfect. We've seen these guys and and and DeAndre is a fantastic athlete. His body is most unbelievable. And he's just a little kid in a big man's body who knows how to play the game. Well,

but okay, I'll be here sometimes and sometimes I won't. That's who he is, I know, and that just kills me. Well, he's catching some checks, jay, I know he's That kills me too. Dang it. Well, you are who you are, and that's who he is. He'll he'll he's come on drawn the five months that he was here and he watched him, that was the biggest thing. Does he kind of just skate

through things? Because that's what he's done. And there were some games that he did that and it and then other games he said, Holy forgivable one of those that they all did that that at the end they wanted out, they were done practicing, they were done the whole thing, and that didn't matter as much to them as I think it did to the fans. So my point is I wanted to make a quick point was that you're tall, and all the short dudes, all those normal people think, God, look

at that have talent. What do we know what they're thinking? Yeah, we don't. We absolutely don't. And that's that's bothersome. Yeah. Yeah. For me, it's like, why are we trying to get into their heads? And because dang it, we wanted to go out there and win a championship for us. We wish we were there, right because we do. We wouldn't and we always say if I had that guy's talent, I would do more with it. All Right, we're gonna take our break.

We'll be back. It'll be Lamon Lovett coming in to talk about the football team as we get ready. We're about a week and a couple of days

Hey, welcome to I'm about here A sports quoteen fifty on Steve Rivera, He's shakersos now on the phone we have in La Motte and love it. There was a little football radio color analyst for another station. Are you doing I'm doing good?

How you guys then? And we're two one five. Thanks. I think one of the questions that we both had you coming in because we saw you at the scrimmage on Saturday. I think it was and you know, we're two old dudes, you know, slumping, kind of slow, you know, run one hundred yard dashing in twenty days. But do you watch it with a keen eye of a running back? How do you watch scrimmages or even a game or even a game? Yeah, yeah, I'm always

I always have my analyst hat on when I'm watching it. I never just can really enjoy it because I'm looking to see I'm looking for improvements. I'm always looking at I tend to pay attention to the offensive line and the defensive line. I try to look to see if they're being dominant up front, if they getting movement on the I'm a defensive standpoint. I'm always constantly trying to see if I see improvements and then pressuring the quarterback. And I'm always

you know, looking at the size of the team. And those types of things. But I'm never really kind of enjoying it one way or the other. But I'm just trying to break it down and and and generally speaking, just from looking at it, I feel like this is by far and away Jed's best team that he's field it from a personnel standpoint, from a standpoint of just you know, I feel like they're all in a better place coaching

wise, experience wise. I think they're all learning and developing, and so I just know, I think they're definitely in a good place right now. So the same it sounds like you really do you know, you watch a play and you kind of pay attention to all the little things going on, you know, play where somebody like me, I watched the play to see how many yards did you get? Right? Did you get a first down or not? So you but so you pay attention little aspects of the game.

Does that Does that change from play to play? Like are you watching, you know, a right tackle and then the next play you're watching the left guard, or you're watching the tight end, or you're watching the running back and how he's blocking. I mean, how do you move around watching

the game and figuring out you know what you're seeing. I think that's a good question and and and it's it is pretty that's actually kind of accurate, because I do I tend to like I tend to focus in on on a player, or I'll focus in on the line or like again, I'm I'm looking for because there's areas that I felt like, you know, I knew

they needed to improve on and and so that's what I'm looking for. And as far as the offensive line goes, I felt like at times they were there certain certain parts of the line were really really good, and then I felt like there were certain areas where they it was there was some inconsistency and they tended to be leaky at certain parts, and that that seems to not

be there this year. So that's the first thing that I've noticed. That they look pretty solid all the way across, and I'm not I'm not seeing guys get overpowered and things like that, Like there were times where I see two guys get blown by and I'm not really seeing that. They look pretty solid all the way across, and they look bigger and stronger, and they're

doing some things you could tell they're more athletic. You're seeing a lot more pin and pull type of players, where you're seeing a big guy get out in front and pull around the outside and lead blocked that way. So they do they look They look different, and I think that's directly related to the fact that they've they've just recruited that way. They've recruited better players up front, and so you can definitely see the difference there. They look different.

And to ask you a question you said earlier about this is the best team he's had in three years, Uh, it's probably the best team he had in day've had in six years. Given this team could probably get any Summons team and then even maybe the tail end of rich Rod. What do you think because it's been a while. No, you're definitely it's definitely true.

Yeah, they would give They would give the rich Rod air teams some some smoke for sure, because I mean, Richard rich Rod was known for great offense, and I think that jed when people got here, they were kind of a lot of people were questioning. They heard a lot of people mumbling when I was to play calling, is this and that In reality, what

they're understanding now is that it was it was personnel. Yeah, And because I don't care how you can call the greatest players in the world if you if you know, the quarterbacks getting killed, or if the quarterback can't you know, get the ball to the receivers, or if the receivers I'm not getting open. I don't care what the offense is, you know, it's

it's always been about the players. And the first year when they got here, they were thinking, Okay, we can coach these guys up and you know, and then after the first year was over, they were like, yeah, we need to get some more players in here, and and uh and that's really exactly what they did. You know. There's now you look up and down this roster and you're actually hearing people talk about all conference type players, all American type players, guys that are on three season all American

teams. That's I mean, that's a real big switch from where they were just three years ago. So that's what it's all about. And I think Jed is a fabulous play caller. I mean wide open. And let's think about this. Their offense average what they average about thirty points a game last year and anybody watching understand, if you really know what you're watching, they like a lot of points out there, they could have scored more points,

but they average thirty a game, which is not bad. But I think that you know, Jayden and Jayden improves on some things, tightening up on you know, the turnovers. With the improvements in the offensive lines, Jaden's not running for his life all the time, I think that you know, they could score more. They could definitely score more than they did last year. So I think if the office takes a few steps forward, and I think obviously we even talk about defense yet, but that's a big, big

key for the offense. They have to get better than they were last year if they want to really do something this ship are you can you pinpoint yet? And maybe it's too early for this. An area though, where they look to have improved the most from you know, from last year. Yeah, oh yeah, for sure. Well, first of all, I think

it starts always starts in the middle of the defense. The reason I'm looking at the offensive and the defensive lines is because no matter what you have, skill wise, if you don't have the front and intact, you're in trouble. And the first thing they did, obviously I already talked about the offensive line, but on the defense side of the ball. You know, they say strategically, you know, pretty much overhauled that side of the ball.

They got significantly bigger and stronger. On the inside. You've got you know, those a couple of guys just a great example as Bill Norton's six foot six, three hundred and twenty five pounds d tackle and then you got Tyler Tyler minoah six five through twenty. I mean, they didn't have those type of guys in the middle of and they've got multiple guys that they can actually move in and out down there that are really big, big and athletic down

there. And then on on the at the different event side. I think, you know, the other part where I think they've they've probably improved also is on the hedge. You know, they they brought in a transfer from Michigan, Taylor, Taylor Upshaw, and he know he's six six, four sixty five, he's about two seventy and not just big though I was watching him, he's he's very athletic. And I and I was signed myself watching a Michigan Ohio State game last year and I was watching this play played quite

a bit. It was getting great pressure in that league, and so when I immediately started focusing on him and practicing. He's doing great. Man. That's it's like, those are the guys that we haven't seen around here, and so more of those guys you can get on the team, you know, the better the results are going to be. Yeah, I was gonna ask you, because you're the lum played the game obviously here very well. How has it been being kind of an insider given them not being so well?

How has that been? Yeah, that's that's always been for me. That's always a struggle because I do live and die with this team. I'm I'm about as die hard of a fan as I am, just even because I played. But I know there's not a day that probably goes by during the year where I'm not thinking about the team and thinking about the makeup of the team, and when they're struggling, it just it kills me on the

inside. But you know that what's been nice is you're seeing you're starting to see them get some momentum and they're starting to build it brown and they're recruiting really unlike I've ever seen them recuve here. I can't think of a time. Yeah, I thought I thought maybe Mike stoops did. Honestly, Mike Stoops did a really nice job recruiting. But I think that this is recruiting is getting to the point to where I think it's even starting to surpass that.

And if they can continue to get like I mean, when have you seen Arizona sign multiple four star quarterbacks? I mean, think of a time. I can't, really, I can't think of a time. You know, the California Player of the year. We got the California Player of the year. You know, I can't think of a time. Yeah, I mean that's that's pretty amazing. And so he's the recruiting is is at a

different level right now, and it feels like it's continuing to improve. So those are just if you can get the guys in here, they're always going to have an opportunity. So yeah, and and and continue to get quality of coaching there going into the NAU game, and aside from a win, I mean, what's what do you want to see? What do you want to know or what do you want to see by the end of that game. I want them, I want them to dominate in AU and I'd like

to see them not mess around with with these guys. I mean, I know NAU is not going to come here to lay down, but I think that this is a much different team than the one that got beat there. And we all know that in the you should not beat in Arizona. There's just that should not happen. But let's face it, a couple of years ago when they played they that's what we had Arizona. But that was a one win team and they won. You know, the one win they had

was versus the team that was decimated by COVID. They just didn't have the talent to do it then. But right how this team looks right now, I feel like this team can move the ball. I'm pretty much anybody that they play against, and and I think with improvements in the steady improvement that they've they've they're really focusing on the deference. I think that they should, they should really take it to an AU. So I'm looking for more of

a dominant performance there. They should. They should. I think they should get out there and really put some points up. And I would like to see some dominant it's on the field and in the middle and the you know, the line of sherman, the line of scrimmage, and you know that's that's all I want to see and create a momentum for them going on in a big road trip the following week. So I was going to ask you, can you make a prediction? But I don't want to ask you because

I'll put you on the spot in a weird way. You've given who who you are. I'll just say, you're gonna partly go Jake Fisher on to me eight or nine wins. You know. The funny thing is, I don't do it. I'm not I'm not the guy that will give you win totals because my approach is always I want to see them play somebody first before I start spouting out what I think they're going to do, because anybody can look good against the same people in practice, but I want to see them

against the nuts, somebody in a different uniform. Then I start to conformulate where I think we may or may not be able to do. Can you do that after the first game, though, maybe the second game? I think so. I think the first the first game is going to tell me if if we do what we're supposed to do in the first game, that'll tell me a lot. If we go out there and around for two quarters

and not look good and look sloppy. And I mean, I know it's the first game, and obviously there's you've got to knock off the rust. But from a physical standpoint, we need to dominate in and you will not mess around with them. We need to get out there and punch them in a face and pretty much, you know, let them know that they're gonna

be in a in a it's gonna be a long night. That's the type of game that they really need to I really think they need to come out and do that and to stop a seff Yeah no, I well, and that's the thing. I mean, you know, you know, as a fan, you're saying, you gotta beat these guys by forty points and and you and you'll feel you'll feel pretty good about that because again, they've they've got athletes who they're gonna come They're gonna put probably score could you know a

few touchdowns. There are a couple of touchdowns, But wait, what you do want to see is that they're in charge the whole time. I mean, that's that's how I see it. And then then at Mississippi State, I mean that's gonna be a I think that's gonna be a fun game, you know. I the fan in me says they got a shot to go over there and win that the realist of me says, don't. Don't mark this down as a win. It's got me to us. I mean, I'm sorry to catch you off, but yeah, I agree with you.

I agree with you. I'm not I'm not chalking that up as a as a win. I'm definitely not chalking it up as a loss though, either, because you know, whenever you whenever, you kind of change regimes a little bit, and they're they're also breaking in a brand new offense and there's so there's some advantages that we we definitely have, but they still have that same defense they had last year. But but they they've had a lot of

turnover though in terms of that personnel. So if we are going to beat them, and we're gonna knock them off, this is a time to do it at the beginning of the year in the second game. We probably don't want to catch them in November where I kind of worked out their little issues. It's probably and I feel like going into this game, we're actually probably the more experienced team, so it's going to be interesting. It's definitely gonna

be interesting. We also know that they have SECU personnel down there at Mississippi State, and they were I mean, our guys, everyone was talking about Holy smokes. This team is big. When we played the last year, they were here among us. So it's gonna be it's gonna be interesting. But that for me, it will be nice. And because it'll be a task, you know, it will be a chance to see if we can really test ourselves, if we can hold up physically, and a lot of

things. It's gonna answer some questions. So I'm looking forward to it, just like you guys. Well, Lamont, we appreciate your time. This is it. We'll see you soon. classics that means all exactly that means. As a compliment, I'm like a fifty nine Chevy. You're one of sixty three sixty four four Teber, you're Keber. Yes, okay, it's funny in the shop right now, all right, Steve? Why does this never happen to me? Things just came across on Twitter? Draftking Sports Book. Some guy did a two dollars ten leg parlay on on ten different guys getting more than one RBI okay, and

how many and he hit it? What do you want twenty five thousand, seven ninety First of all, because you're two dollars bet, because you want you bet the two dollars because you're the two dollars guy. You don't bet ten leg things and you don't bet that crazy. Yeah, you're you're you're you're a bit player. You're a bit player, right, I'm not saying

and you and you go three four maximum? Maybe, well I'll do like a I'll do like like I'll do an eight, like an eight team money lying partly, but you know they're all you know, minus four hundred, right, and then they're all two foot bets and I'll miss one this one right right? No, this is your this is one of your brothers. Accidental tourists wins because he's done that before. We're I'll do this, and

then all of a sudden he's catching a fifteen hundred dollars ticket. Yeah for you know, for making a mistake exactly because this this is not you. Yeah, no, I don't. I don't make these You don't make these bets. That's why two dollars into twenty five grand and two bucks. I mean you have to study and kind of say, you know, it's like pulling off a two dollars ten game parley. Come on it. It's hard to get four games. It's hard to three games. Yeah, it's hard

to get three. Yeah, it's really hard to get three. All right, a couple of things. Arizona soccer starts. It's uh as its home opener tonight, uh seven o'clock against Grand Canyon, So out at i'll kahe stadium. So make sure you get out there for that. Right. We were just in contact with the Eric Rodgers. He's gonna he's gonna get us into the game tomorrow nights Maranna at South Point. Again. Really look forward

to going to see a good high school football game. It's been a while, you know, I went to a few of those Ironwood Ridge, South Point games a few years ago and stuff like that. But it's really been a long time. Went to some Sunnyside games, but I went to Sunnyside games or the Cardiness side, the burritos, not for the well, not for the football. We've been us. So we'll go to that. Well. We're part of the media, so you're feeding us. We'll be there,

exactly, we'll be exactly. Volleyball gets his home. It's a season started tomorrow with the Cactus Classic. They opened with h UC Davis at ten o'clock in the morning tomorrow at at at McHale. They'll play. They'll also play in North Carolina, uh in the afternoon or I should say in the evening at seven o'clock. Then they will take on Pacific on Saturday morning.

So we're on a Saturday afternoon, three matches over the weekend to get their season started under the new coach, Rita Stubbs, a long time, one time player. Okay, here's a funny thing, because we're gonna, we hope people, we're gonna do our over unders on all the pac twelve kings. Yeah. Well, I'm not gonna study that, but I'll tell you what that Well, you know, doing as you go along many, but we're gonna do We're gonna do all of our over unders some at some point

during the show tomorrow for for the Pac twelve. Are we gonna bet anything on it? We'll just do it right bragging rights. Okay, So Sports Betting Time just posted this and these are the most bet on overs and unders on Draft Kings sports book as of it looks like about four o'clock. Okay, So who do you think is the most bet over most? This is all over yeah, all and Olive Draft Kings over under the over that's been bet the most over over four Ohio. I don't know. Colorado over three.

Yeah. See, that's why I like you. It's not why I like it. I just think they're gonna win at least four. But but then on the other hand, they are the number four most bet on under three and a half. So people are just putting money on Colorado. Guess what Vegas is doing or Draft Kings are doing. This is what we want. Half the people are gonna lose, and that's how they make that, all right. The second most bet on over is Iowa over eight over over

eight. They're losing a half thirteen I'm not sure I would take that, And they're right, they've got this gambling scandal and stuff going on. I wonder how many of the players have got that right. It's not the team Betty, that was terrible, legit, it was clever. Well, well, you know here, look at this, it's all big ten right after after Colorado, the third most bet over is over five and a half or

Michigan State. They've got net number four. They've got Michigan over ten and a half and then Pence State over nine and al. So somebody's got somebody's got to lose in that league, right, Sure, Florida goes to Utah next the first week of the year, right, No, TJ is gonna go watch it in Utah. I didn't reallyize Florida they could lose their coach two years in because they're not They're not Florida. They haven't been Florida forever, so why they lost Anthony Richardson? So yeah, I mean, I

you know, Florida beat Utah last year and they shouldn't have. You know, Utah was the first first there and it was Utah and they believe that that. That one pissed me off because I had Utah in that game. But anyways, as far as the unders, the most bet on under Iowa State under five and a half is the Arizona in this mix at all. But no, did you did you? I know you're talking with Gambly. Did you see Big Game Boomer today yesterday? Which the best uniforms in the

state. Yeah, we did. We talked about that the best uniforms in the state, in the state or in the country, in state in the best uniforms in need state. Did you give it a test you? Oh? If J Fisher was like, I missed that. And anyway, Florida State under ten, Texas under nine and a half, then Colorado under three and a half, in Tennessee under nine and a half. So those are the most bet on unders on Draft Kings sports books like, there you have

it, and I'll go battle have fun with that. You know, I took care Zone, but that I think that's the only one I'm gonna do. I don't think I'm gonna doing any other ones. You said you were taking Colorado. I think over I think so. I think that would be a fun bet only because because I think I think who called Rick? Rick called yesterday to say that I totally agree with Rick and I devil agree with Rick all the time, but that they're gonna play over their heads against the

teams with because of the the Dion factor. Did you see Michael Irving was there yesterday and then he didn't see a speech? No, it's funny and you talked about him being the celebrity coach and Michael Irvian's known because he's on TV. But do these kids really know Michael Irving? Does that make sense? Wow, they're gonna introduced him as a Hall of Fame and fell Hall of Famer one thirty Super Bowls and all that stuff. But did they see

him play? No? No, of course now they're like eighteen years ago, nineteen years ago, they they didn't. Yeah, no, they didn't see him play at all. Michael Irving get out the field goal? Then, oh, the big game? Boomer says, he's going to the game at the New Mexico at the New Mexico State Really Yeah, Why, I don't know he's is he based out of Texas? He's in Oklahoma, Oklahoma,

in Oklahoma, I think he's in Oklahoma. What particular I just tweeted an hour ago, I've got a long road trip tomorrow to Las Cruises, New Mexico. Duet Cruises is what how many hours from here? It's four hours? Four hours. I'm not going to that. I'm saying I went to school there and I'm not going there. No, it's the kids. You got pezs over there. Huh, you got peeps over there. I got a peep. It's a nice place. It's twosun in nineteen seventy five.

Okay, that's years small, smaller years ago. It's small town. You know, it's small college town. It's it's it is what it is. Don't knock on Cruisies is just what it is. I just remember passing through there on my way to Most people do if Tucsons have passed through cruises is a past? Yeah? Yeah, seriously, seriously, So I know it's funny, all right. A lot of people are arguing about whether or not if Kirby Smart wins another national championship, he goes back to back to

back. No do you put him over Nick Saban? No? No, no, all time? Yeah no no, first thing, won't do it. But no, who do you think the win that's championship? You don't think it's state? Maybe now Michigan nor lose a game, and he shouldn't lose. What I'm I'm looking it up right now, but let me see futures some national champions chip. How do you get that so fast on your

screen? Did you have a fast computer? Well, because I and I have it, Mark, I got it right up there with you know my mad's George is the favorite at plus two twenty Alabama four plus six hundred sixty one. Okay, Ohio State seven hundred. I that's not about number Michigan, Michigan eight hundred s When I say it's favorite of the Michigan. Yes, so I would tell you twenty bucks. Ohio State in one hundred and sixty bucks about it, LSU at eleven hundred. Then USC comes in at

fifteen hundred, so fifteen to one, Washington's four thousand. They're not gonna win the national championship. I just think you're gonna win the steven Now, yeah, you're still not losing hope on it. But yeah, the running back that got hurt, it's not like he's a it wasn't a Heisman candidate. That's what I told you yesterday. They'll find people, They'll get a guy they'll get a guy who can do what they need. And I don't believe that it's in the hands of Michael Paynton. I was gonna say it.

I don't believe. I don't believe if one guy gets hurt, if he's not the quarterback there, they'll be at guy. The guys they're they're that good for a reason. You know. You got me thinking, Steve about how state it'side of the blue. This is your two dollars, ten dollars whatever? This is it right here? Ten bucks, win seventy bucks? Yeah? Yeah, why not be fine? Yeah, and then you have some skin in the game. And then and then they'll piss me off.

We'll come to January eighth or January one, say what the hell is why did I do? Yeah? You know what, they'll be, they'll be your your Aaron, Aaron Rodgers'll be you still hate that guy, hate him? What did you run the ball? That's two years ago. It was three years ago, three years ago, three years ago. He had clear way to get a touched down flows the ball points. No, he was just I want to end the year. Yeah, it's not worth it to put anything on Georgia, you know, No, it's not even fun

because they're they're gonna you know, possibly it's it's Alabama. Will they research come back? Who knows? Ohio State. I think that's kind of like the kind of a nice little one quarterback though they got a new quarterback their Ohio State. Yeah, Ohio State. Texas needs to come back football wise,

because they Texas. Without Texas and football, it's kind of like if they were to come back, they're going at it's USC, then Clemson, Florida State, and then uh and then Texas and then then you go to Penn State, Tennessee, Notre Dame, Oregon, and Washington are the same at four thousand. Who's gonna finish? You think questions is gonna be ahead

of I don't know about Oregon. I don't know. Well, you see, I think I think the whole thing with Kenny Dillingham leaving, you know, they they're gonna have They got a new offensive coordinator up there, lost some guys because of that, you know, some recruits and stuff, you know, getting used to the new uh. You know this is about Nicks is like he's had a new offensive coordinator like every year that he's played,

and he's still pretty good. He's still pretty good. But you know, if they don't lose something I think they've got I want to say Michigan State early in the year. I think they opened with Michigan State or something like that. That's gonna be uh you know, but Michigan State's not supposed to be all that good. That there's a guy who might be in big trouble. Yeah, you know, what's the name of Tucker got that mega megat. He's kind of a scar if he if he go coach. Yeah,

he got me thinking about how states. Dave got me thinking about it, getting one of your Dodger prophets, just putting in maybe I will, maybe I will. All right, that was fun today. LAUN love it great. Haven't you good? Good insight on the Wildcats and what you look at I think I'm gonna look at the games any differently than I do. And

then Joe Turner was always fun to talk to. Joe Turner. Miss that guy, these guys, we said, always with a smile on his face, the guy that, uh, you know you kind of just a dude, no worries. Yeah, he walks in the door, he lights up the room, and and and he's one of those guys always of the smile on inside. All right, well, thank you better for being here. Will be back tomorrow. We're gonna be talking to some Little League World Series

tomorrow, somebody who played in it from Tucson. And then I will have Jake. Jake Fisher will be joining us and give his continuing perspective on football club. Be back tomorrow
