A lack of feedback is one of the biggest reason that people leave an organisation, let's face it, they are getting away from a bad boss, not the organisation as a whole. So mastering great communication, making it your superpower, will be a game changer in terms of establishing a team that you are proud to lead based on performance, communication and behaviour
Working internationally means working interculturally yet very few people are aware of the fact that many subtle differences can create friction, then conflict. It pays to be curious, observant and prepared to challenge your own view of the world before drawing conclusions or pointing the finger when communication breaks down.
Choose: Meta Communication orCross Cultural Conflict? Meta communication is communicating on how you want to communicate. What that means is “meta” is like that bird's eye perspective. Usually we just launch into communicating without establishing communication ground rules or best practices. Sounds simple but many conflicts would be avoided if more time and attention was paid to meta communication. Ignore meta communication at your own risk!
