Episode description

This is one of the most raw episodes we've ever dropped. Adam Derus and Steve Glynn sit down with Caitlin Cullen, owner of Tandem Restaurant. Known for hiring, training, and graduating young people in a neighborhood with severe unemployment well before COVID-19, Tandem serves up a bit of altruism with amazing food and drinks. And much like Milwaukee, Caitlin is both honest and humble about her work. As a high school teacher and then principal battling drug issues, Caitlin knew a change was needed. So she dropped everything, "burned her MBA", and headed to Milwaukee where she took on a minimum wage cooking gig. Learn more about her journey and passion for giving people their first chance. Take a listen, then PLEASE donate at www.TandemMKE.com so they can keep serving free meals to a community that needs them. Thank you for listening.
