Guest speaker, Don McClain, leads us into the topic of patience, based on the epistle of James in the New Testament.  Don empowers us to be patient in the face of trials and tribulations, and to trust in God's promises and judgments.  He uses examples from the Bible, such as the farmer, the prophets, Job, and Jesus, to illustrate the value of perseverance and endurance.  He also warns against the negative consequences of impatience, such as anger, dissatisfaction, pessimism, and quitting.  He gives us the basics we need to establish our hearts in Christ, focus on spiritual growth, and look forward to our eternal home in heaven.
