Episode description

In this episode, we learn that Teacher Mina is a self-professed chef and Teacher Marilou likes movie sound tracks. Teacher Mina indeed loves food that she would want to improve her cooking eventually. Meanwhile, Teacher Marilou's love for movies goes beyond just watching it but also appreciating the music being played in the background. For this week's grammar point, Teacher Marilou introduces the infinitive of purpose. The form is "to + 動詞" and it is used to answer the implied question "why" in a sentence.  Teacher Mina also introduces the different tenses in which the main verb of the sentence is used, as well as using "in order to" in place of just "to" to sound more formal. Teacher Marilou caps the episode by doing a sentence formation practice with Teacher Mina which students can also participate in.
