Uh, It's gonna be important to me because I always like to bring you into my rold, into my life, be as honest and as open as possible. And we're gonna be talking a little bit about a special day that should be celebrated
every day, which is Mother's Day. Betty ye as madst for all the mothers out there listening, for.
The mothers, the future mothers, the ones that are expecting, the ones who have adopted, the ones who have puppies and cats and animals, and are you know whatever it is if you are nurturing soul and you're out here being the best mother.
You can be or plan on being a mother. Happy Mother's Days to you.
Mother's Days doesn't necessarily have to be about you know, your biological mother.
I know amazing grandmothers.
There are great mothers and aunts who are great you know moms, and and.
There's so many people out here raising these children and being uh, you know, being an.
Amazing nurture that I feel is important to celebrate those people doing that job as well. Let's celebrate the day together. And I wouldn't be able to do this without. And I'm older than maybe either the person who raised me and has been my support system since day one, the person who created me, who is my mother. And now Tambing is abuda with you guys.
Today we have mommy and my mom.
Hi, Mom, Hi, telling the prama the exactly madre intu gas Mammy is to Premier, I'm your office. You know a girl canky Yeah, Losentinos, we feel it now officially that you are a grandmother. Means when Premiers so exactly came theself to Mather.
I know that's right. Hey, the.
Congos dire for losses mia a two ways I'll want to see me to the Negas condo.
Okay, getting dad, get didn't when when you see my babies?
Okay, for example, sum his dad, what do you see in her that you saw in me when I was little?
So pick up? Yes, okay, it's very artistic.
And okay a your highness you Hynes Soesa.
Hey, come one, yes for sure.
And you know, but me, I really enjoy seeing you as a mother as well obviously as my mother, but I enjoy seeing you as another version of a mother for my daughters.
You know, you're a grandmother, but I see you reliving a lot of experiences.
Then do you feel and now you will have a second opportunity to do things right?
Okay?
Then a couple so yeah, so you feel that my daughters give you life like the babies give you life. They make you want to live. So I love that, I really do. And that's such a beautiful thing.
I think that sometimes as new you know, new mom's, first time moms, we're so caught up and like not knowing what we're doing, being excited as a mom, but still trying to figure things out. The don't realize how us bringing new life into the family really does give life to the family overall, especially our mothers our grandmothers.
And the fathers too, you know, new life.
Just learning how to raise a child and and showing them how to talk, how to walk, how to eat, just the process of it all.
It really does give life to the whole family out. Is there any advice that you can pass down to me?
Then, Madre.
Is me primer avese and sindo mare.
What advice can you give me? Why?
No?
I see say yo to create yes, right the vaara and when they yes they were they yes.
La comnicas for lamentaaaaa.
Okay, different the animals to sell the converts I alg.
I comedic commo madri comira. Is there anything that you regret that you did as a mother that you wouldn't want me to to do?
But satam you know you know complete genaro ruse at peto, Madre, no order notata dio to puberta.
It's a primara teenager for this lot.
Cose know josalian pet so the road. Okay, there's something that you did that you're like, you know what now now.
Okay, I know no.
Man, that's okay, No locme we make cri and Jeff okay or to say form our.
Yeah, yes, borno.
Okay, which, by the way, I feel that there's many things ka I never thought, Hey, I would do as a mother. I come and then I feel how I know, I see how I'm copying a lot of the things that you.
You know, how you raised me. You were very strong with me when I was growing up.
You're very tough on me, which I'm grateful because it taught me to be responsible, is be as it made me into a professional.
I'm grateful for all those things. That's my professionality. As maybe I might have like.
These high expectations of what I expect them to be, and I have to understand that they are going to be whoever they're going to be in their time. They're gonna pursue whatever it is that they want to be.
How did you deal with knowing? In your case?
Because you and I have different experiences that I wanted to be an artist, that I wanted to be payments, that I want to do all these great things, and financially you couldn't afford it.
Cours what sort of k S A NBA. That's that? Okay, Ken, I go talk to like, ok.
So, so compact Kenny through Now how about this, let's get let's get to it. This is a broo cue conversation, but to stop playing because when I was growing up, you used that.
I don't use the word beats. I think the American version of that would be spank, and you used to spank.
The hell out of me.
But I know that that's a cultural thing and it all whatever she could find, she would throw it at me.
And I feel that the kids.
From our generation somewhere, how about the generation before us, they respected, you know, their elderly and their parents more than this generation.
Do you still believe in the spanking.
One the younsada alos alos majores mask.
They all? Should I use other methods? Or do you still believe in the spanking? And pen yr como? Okay?
And this.
K greg die young moment you appears, okay, girl, you lying another girl?
You didn't you never spend but you know you got that belt, that chant, that hangar, that wire, whatever, you have a plan.
You know you spank the hell out of me.
But I think that it's not just about the spanking, because there's a differently between spanking and abuse discipline. I think is important showing your children to respect you as a parent, to understand the sacrifices that you do for them as a parent, that everything that you're doing, you're disciplining them because you mean well for them, because you try to protect them, because you can't just raise them to be wild. I do understand there's other methods like
stand in the corner, take away certain toys. I think that we've learned throughout, you know, time, there's other ways of doing it. But I know, other than the Latino household, that is very common. So I really wanted to know because in many occasions my mom would be like, you better not.
Put your hands on the baby. And but you didn't know me anyways. But I mean simple pensel get.
And doesn't just look at the part it's part the THEO and they kind of come out selling.
I don't know, that's just me be don't is the positive person?
Savad do incurgass and mean, so, how do you raise your daughter specifically or your children a row to have that that friendly bond, that relationship with their mother where they can feel comfortable enough to be honest with you and tell you everything that's going in there in their life without feeling necessarily, you know, judge, or feeling like I can't come to my mother to my father to tell them what's happening in my life. You know the passic you got you you see your considerata.
And because not casa no no I like yay.
No problema, the local vedia alamo and pante no so primri terno it was so it's a it's a part, okay, so Loyer, and.
I am curious to.
Know what are your honest thoughts on me becoming a mother, says a Quales son.
To spend some mien pos okay baillo Marri.
Chris is in my momentum Chris and Chris there vero mask Chris ka very cholantes.
No look look some perfect in castle to you called take thee and didn't do something. And Mom, I don't know.
Which is closet sipan Samoa Lesa.
And me via the see the thousand and one after I had my daughters.
Altra foulsa, there was another break in my career where I feel that God gave me the opportunity and was kind of blessing me with allowing me to enjoy my daughters.
You know, God was more like, I'm gonna give you a different type of momentum that right now, life is gonna go a little bit slower for you so that you can enjoy being a mother, enjoy getting to know your daughter, spending time with them, because life will go back into you know, work, work, work, work, work, work, work, and you're gonna regret now spending time with your girls. So I thank God every day for the opportunity that he gave me of at least enjoying my.
Daughters their first year. I've been there.
Mammy has to go back to work, Mammy's going to be traveling again, Mammy is not going to.
Be home fatal the first year of my daughter's lives.
I've been here as much as possible to, you know, teach him how to eat, teach him how.
To talk, how to walk. Like that journey. I didn't want to lose that.
I didn't want to miss out on that, and I'm grateful that I've been able to be around.
Do you think, mom, that I am a good mother, perfect anything? My whole suddenly? What do you be honest at that?
Yes?
See, okay, good be honest because.
If I need to be better, that's another thing. As a new time, first time mom, sometimes we're not perfect. We're not perfect and we need help. And if you need help, it's okay to ask your mom ya wailita to me, I don't know what I'm doing it dependly, I don't know how to do is ask for help, Beto.
I also want to know me and there's something I could do better as a mother. I'm never gonna take it personal. Teach me.
So is there anything you think that I need to picture? You think I'm doing good? So far perfect, and then it takes us attle lot, please the way and.
Thank you, thank you.
That means a lot to me. I'm so grateful for your words. I know that we've had this conversation in the past about me having more children. Do you think that I would be prepared at this moment in life to have more children?
Do you foresee me having more children? Or you think that my girls will be it? To get get to the fam really whole daycare center, Grey, I thought.
I mean, I mean, you know a lot of people have questioned me on the reasons why and how I decided to be a single mother. I don't think it was so much of a decision. I think I didn't have much of an option, much of a choice. Because if you have your child and your significant other, you guys break up, divorced, separate, or no longer wants to be part of your life, or you know, in many occasions, when the male separates from the mother, they kind of
divorced the children as well. It's like says you and not together, will that you take care of that, and then they just leave and you have no other option but to continue to raise your children. So when I said I'm a single mother by toys or whatever, is because I guess I wasn't being one hundred percent honest because I didn't happen to the choice right.
I'm not going to abandon my children.
I would never leave my children, and it is my duty as a mother to always protect my children, and I will always do that.
They will always be my priority.
But I come from a single mother household as well, and I feel very guilty for a long time because I felt like I was repeating the pattern, not because I wanted to, when life just made it that way.
And I feel guilty for.
It because I wanted to have a beautiful household with a mother and a father for my children, and I didn't get the opportunity of doing that I would have done anything to fix it.
Some things are unfixable and some things you just can't do. So in her case, they see things.
In a moment man no poquet, no corpa, no not all.
Corona, marimon establis, katerically a lot of correct a convert to colinoo, the polar presents and.
Secan solo No, I see I located poken that could you see that?
Go do as my face was this and when you see your majesty in your highness. I know that people automatically expect them to be artists or to be in the energinment industry because I've exposed them to that industry.
But what would you like to see your granddaughters become Manana and cork a man Jose professional? I love it, but but you know what I mean. Honestly, thank you so much for being on exactly amount of today.
Thank you for being an amazing mother, for being my support system, for being my mom, my sister, my doctor, my nurse, by everything I am. I am so grateful to have such an amazing example of a mother of a woman in my life. And obviously now as a grandmother, you're doing such a great job with my girls, with your babies, last World twins, and I just wanted to have a moment where I could celebrate your publicly because I always want publicly for people to know how much I love you.
I always want to give you your flowers.
I don't want to wait till it's too late, because God's timing, you know, is always perfect, but we just never know. And if you're out there listening, you know, if you have your mother, your grandmother, dot Wallia, whoever it is that raised you, take this opportunity to say thank you, to show them love, to give them their flowers, because they're here today and you don't know about tomorrow. It takes a village, it takes a lot of people
to really raise a person. But if there is a person alone that does it, they deserve even more credit.
And here's something you could take home with you. Love and embraise your mother.
It doesn't matter what she's been through, it doesn't matter what she did regardless, she brought you into this world. And if someone else is raising you and is raising you or has raised you, or even it is still continuing to be a support system for you, be grateful for them, show them that you care, show them that you love them. It could be the smartest little thing just to show gratitude because now as a mother that I'm going through the process of raising two children, it
is a sacrifice. You sacrifice your time, your life, your body, your mental health, your everything, trying to be the best that you can for someone else.
Mammy, I love you so much.
