Episode description

Unreeling Unearth: Hoizer and Dante Discussed

First conceived during pandemic lockdowns, the recently released album Unreal Unearth by Hoizer, with songs like Francesca and Eat Your Young, plays on themes from Dante's Inferno. Schoolman Fawcett and Scholark McLarney unfurl some of the allusions while commenting on the tenor and themes of the brilliantly cyclical album from a classically informed perspective.
