Spike grew up in Colorado, attended University of Pennsylvania and received his graduate degree from Stanford Business School.

After working as an investor at Blackstone, he helped grow opendoor.com from a 5-person company into a $3B dollar business as their head of finance. He then went on to found a retail brokerage called Newfront Insurance.

To date, they have raised over $300M dollars, completed a merger with ABD insurance, and their valuation is over $2B dollars.
