Episode description

In our hurried world, many of us are thinking only of the short-term rather than long-term gains and losses in life. We think linearly rather that cyclically and it’s had big consequences on our sense of well-being. A linear worldview is that overemphasizes order, and predictable life pattern where the world can be understood by a cause- and-effect relationship between separate events. Life is a cycle, and it tends to unfold differently at different phases for everyone.

In this podcast I want to talk about what linear thinking is really all about in context to this podcast, and what I mean that life is an unpredictable pattern. I wrap up this podcast on how has thinking linearly not served us.
