Episode description

Sidney Gottlieb was considered by many to be the most prolific torturer of his generation. A chemist who headed the CIA’s assassination and mind control program in the 1950s and 60s, Gottlieb was ruthless in his quest to weaponize the human mind during the Cold War. His experiments with LSD ruined countless lives and achieved little of value. This week, Chris, James and Michael look at Sidney Gottlieb’s life and decide if he was a Groovy Gus… or a Nasty Norman.

Plus, the intro features: Spuds MacKenzie, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, the dark side of eating on the subway and lots of nonnas. Enjoy!
