The Hatman

You’re dead asleep in your bedroom well past the midnight hour when suddenly you awaken. You’re staring at a corner of the room you always do when you wake up in the middle of the night, but are you awake? You can see the wall and a little light trickling in from the window as your eyes continue to adjust. Then you see him, the black shadow molds itself into a towering figure of horror. It looks like the figure may be wearing a trench coat and all the way up at the top of this soaring shadow sits and old, wide-brimmed hat. You can’t move or scream, you are at the mercy of THE HATMAN. 

So, who is The Hatman? There are many answers and theories to that question. Is he a shadow person, an alien, or a demonic entity from the fourth dimension? Is he just a hallucination that’s the result of sleep paralysis or a figment of the imagination? If so, how can we explain the fact that this spooky vision has been witnessed by so many unconnected people all over the world? Is it feasible to think that there can be a nightmare phenomena playing out on such a global scale?
