Rob Compa - Dopapod - Everyone Loves Guitar

Rob and his friends formed what turned out to be Dopapod while at Berklee… 6 Studio & 4 Live LPs later, he’s toured all over the world. He’s also played as a sideman and has played with Dweezil Zappa, Moe, Mike Gordon, Oteil Burbridge, Scott Sharrard, Michael League, Snarky Puppy.

Rob discusses what prompted Dopapod’s recent 1-year hiatus and how he (and the band) was impacted by the break, close family ties, why he left Rochester, guitars, being more open minded, best decision he’s ever made, being a better friend, more. Really honest convo:
