Chris’ grandparents ran an after hours club in Chicago, where folks like Sam Cooke and Louis armstrong gathered… and Chris’ mother was friends with Curtis Mayfield, Gary Shider & Glenn Goins (Funkadelic). A lifetime sideman, his first gig was touring the world with Wendy & Lisa, and he’s toured or recorded with Jeff Beck, Doyle Bramhall II, Greg Leisz, Pino Palladino, Abe Laboriel Jr., Billy Preston, Tom Waits, Chris Connelly and loads of others, on both guitar and bass.
