Living with a Chronic Illness

Imagine if you will, finding yourself increasingly short of breath. Sure, maybe you smoked in the past, maybe you never did. Maybe you could lose a few pounds, maybe not. But for whatever reason, you can’t seem to get a good breath. You cough, sometimes you can’t stop. Your doctor gives you steroids, cough syrup, nothing works. One day, you decide to see a specialist and are diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis. Whatever that is, it doesn’t sound good to you. Listen to this interview with Stevan, who was diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis and had a double lung transplant five years ago.
