Episode description

It’s one thing to win a race. But it’s a whole new game when it comes to breaking course records. And our guest for this episode can tell you all about that, as she recently broke the female solo record for a 290 mile race called The Speed Project last March.

Today’s guest is Shelby Farrell, who is an athlete, ultrarunner, Adidas crew runner, and is the Partnerships Marketing Manager for COROS Global. Shelby has completed tons of marathons, ultramarathons, Cocodona 250, and most recently, The Speed Project on a solo attempt. She lives life to the fullest, embodies the mentality of a hunter, and is never afraid to back down on a challenge.

In this episode, Shelby discusses the full recap of her record-breaking run at The Speed Project (along with how she did it), what it’s like to really dial in a race and crew strategy that works, and the amazing benefits that come from using cannabis while running.
