5: Dez and Lau raise two kids (6 & 3yo) in New Zealand

Dez and his partner Lau are both immigrants to New Zealand, where they are raising Roy (6 years old) and Valentina (3 years old). Dez details some of the challenges and benefits of raising kids in a different country than where he and his partner were each born (Australia and Argentina, respectively). He talks about how Roy and Valentina's personality differences result in varied challenges for each child, with Roy being a more cautious kid who needs encouragement to be bolder on the ski slopes.
