Red has reached Vermilion City which is the home for the S.S. Anne boat. Red is intrigued and decides that he will sneak onto the big boat to see what is on it. He doesn't get far when he is immediately thrown off the boat, which is when he is approached by an old man who seems to be the head of a Pokémon Lovers Club.
