If you are joining us for the first time I want to extend a special welcome to you and let you know that you are a parT if an ever growing community of men who desire to live out their true identity in Christ. In fact, that is the challenge from Jesus. Now to help get your mind and heart better prepared for today’s study, think about someone you call a really close friend - someone you have gone through a lot with - someone you would call on when you were in a tough spot. Got there face in your head? OK - now imagine that same person is asked by someone if they know you? Think about what you would expect them to say? You are pretty confident because your relationship they would not only get excited to say they knew you but they would be able to comment on what great guy you are but also go into detail about your history As bro’s, some of your your experiences and your close connection. right?  Well what if you found out later that ... not only did your “close friend” not claim a connection but he denied knowing you at all by staying silent?  Now if you’re like me you would say “well that would never happen because we are so close” right?  I mean that would be way confusing. In today’s study men’s expert and pastor Kenny Luck is going to look at what Jesus expects when we are asked about our connection to him.
