watch that video about Wilma Rudolph, who was diagnosed with Polio as a child in the 1950s. The Olympics are a great time to understand the stories behind our athletes and heroes. Remember that we all have the potential to be great, but the discipline, training, and commitment to get us there is what makes these olympians unique

88 – Everyone has a story, some may be heart-breaking yet they are all inspiring. The Olympics show us what we can be capable of doing, show us our limits. “No you couldn’t” (a quote from someone on tik tok) not without the training and dedication. It comes with a lot of sacrifice and failure to get what it takes to become an athlete. Wilmer Rudolph (T&F) first women to win three gold medals ever, diagnosed with polio was told she might never walk again but so many coaches and doctors wanted to help her. Proving that human potential can get us to achieve our dreams.
