The Big Idea: Trust in Jesus is the only essential and it is impossible to fake.

Romans 9:33, 10:1-15

People approach God in one of two ways:
1. Establishing a righteousness of your own

2. Submitting to the righteousness of God
● Christ is the culmination of the Law, so that there may be righteousness
for everyone who believes.

Deuteronomy 30:19-20

The essential good news:
“The one who believes in Him will never be put to shame.”

Taking Personal Responsibility: Believe in your heart and confess with your mouth.
● Believe in your heart:
Make trust in Jesus the foundation of all of your thinking processes.

● Confess with your mouth
Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.

Response:

Romans 10:14-15

● Confess the goodness of God continually.
● Believe in your deepest soul that God raised Him from the dead.
● Preach Jesus - and when necessary, use words.
