Episode description

The British Ambassador to Lima, James Dauris. is quoted as saying ‘Peru is now the major producer of cocaine in the world and more than 70 per cent goes to Britain. But only 20 per cent pure cocaine ends up with the user because of the way it is cut down the chain.....‘Veterinary anaesthetics that kill worms in animals are used to dilute it.' This is set against the background of two young ladies apprehended as they were set to carry drugs on a flight from Peru to Madrid. A man was out walking a hike with his 11 year old son. After asking directions from a guard at an Agricultural college...Two hours later, we were toiling along the verge of the B1248 about five miles north when we were passed by a police car and police van in convoy. They did a U-turn and swept up beside us. What was that all about? Scotland Yard were assessing the credibility of new information relating to the deaths of Princess Diana and Dodi Fayed including an allegation that they were murdered by a member of the British military. And the HS2 link is claimed to be a stake in the heart of middle England. s it really necessary?
