The UK MPs are not content with the high-life. The Tory MEPs are spending thousands to entertain their European counterparts but, hey, aren't we all in this together? Meanwhile, the UK public seems relatively happy to have one of their MPs getting 40.000 as a fee to leave her constituency duties and become a celebrity for a few weeks! Contrast her situation with an ex c-councillor in Spain who has thrown herself off a building and died because she was being evicted from her home. Everyone should be caring about this but the Spanish airline pilots are more likely to be concerned about their forthcoming strike. Is it really true they are on 200.000 per annum? That's almost a week of a top footballer's money! Nevertheless, the official average wage in Spain in 18.000 in a country with 25% unemployment. All these people need a reality check.
