Luke 1 || "His Name Is John"

I love paintings of mountains, forests, and other outdoor scenery. I'm not an artist. It’s hard for me to imagine such incredible pieces of art beginning with an empty canvas and with one stroke of a brush. But every painting, like every story, must begin somewhere. This Sunday we will see the first brushstrokes of the picture of Jesus that Luke is painting in his gospel.
