Trump Loses Appeals Court Fight

Donald Trump lost a big legal fight to keep January 6th documents secret after a federal appeals court Thursday ruled against his effort. However, the DC Circuit Court of Appeals paused its ruling for two weeks so that Trump could seek a Supreme Court intervention. Could the Supreme Court ride to his rescue?

Actor Jussie Smollett has been found guilty of making false reports to police for claiming he was the victim of a hate crime. The presiding judge in the case will determine if Smollett will serve a concurrent or consecutive sentences for each count at a later date.
