Episode description

Vice President Kamala Harris is on the campaign trail in Virginia for Democratic gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe just days ahead of the state’s election. The race has gained national attention as both parties are using this contest as a road map for how to run in next year’s midterms, but state Democrats fear that the race has been nationalized so much that it could hurt their chances of winning. Where does the race currently stand?  

Plus, 13 guns along with ammunition were seized from a prop truck on the set of “Rust.” Lawyers for the film’s armorer, Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, say that she had “no idea where the live rounds came from.” No one has been charged, but officials say no one has been cleared of wrongdoing either. Investigators are looking at the circumstances of the shooting and at past patterns to see whether anything could have been done to prevent the incident.
