Hurricane Ian strikes SC as Florida death toll rises to 42

Hurricane Ian's punishing winds and devastating storm surge are causing extensive damage along the U.S. coast. Piers have been destroyed and homes are flooded as the threat of flashing flooding is still very real. Plus, the death toll in Florida is now 42 as it continues to rise.
